My actual face, when I saw this thread. Then I thought of filling it with ejuice and wondering if that would work! haha!

Ever since I got my VPPT, I wasn't able to put it down, because that's how awesome it is! Then I started having headaches, then figured out I was using it too much. Moderation is key.

Worst Product From Ces 2010: Electronic Cigarette
StevenP replied to Christopher's topic in General Vape News
Escapist has usually good content. This isn't one of them. -
I'm not sure if your willing to go with another supplier, but Rob at Vaporkings has 801 manual buttons batteries there. I've ordered quite a lot from him and he's helped out a lot, you can always find some coupon codes from him in the supporting suppliers section. http://www.vaporkings.com/DSE801_Batteries_and_Atomizers_s/47.htm

Hey Minedbojo, nice, I'd like to hear more about this black silver bullet. Let us know how it vapes once you get those batteries in! Always good seeing what others say about other mods.
-
48MG, wow! I can barely handle anything above 18MG!
-
Hi MD, Vaporkings has them, but they're currently out of stock. There is also http://www.ecigexpress.com/ and http://www.aromaejuice.com/ to name a few, but I've never used them, they seem to have them.

You mean, directly dripping into the atomizer and inhaling without attaching a cart? I think they call that 'tail piping'? I think that is the term some people used.
-
Nana! Thanks for sharing, it's threads like this that might give hope to those who wonder about vaping, if vaping might work at all!

No real big differences. The 901 has a D shape and is as deep as the 510 is more rectangular. Only benefit, would be if you like a lower profile tip. I only have 901 carts and have been using them on 510 simply cause I like the 'whistle-tips' better then the rounded 510 carts.
-
Hey aguifan, yes, you can buy 510 carts and use it on your protege. It is a 510 atomizer so I'd imagine you would be able to use the carts. I use also 901 carts on 510 atomizers. Dura is a Janty atomizer, they're like the joye 510 atomizers, but manufactured by Janty, while 510 is made by joye. Janty Dura atomizers cost a bit more, probably a bit more durable too. I can be wrong though. But, they are almost the same. Probably someone who uses the two, might shed some light on this.

this was literally painful to watch!

Anyway, to contribute about the eGo, I wasn't too sure about the 510/janty dura atomizer. i've never used a 510, I started on a 901. But the 510, is actually really good on it! And the ever lasting battery, over 10-12+ hours without a charge with a consistency is what mattered to me. With most units, you can definitely tell there is a drop off. A certainly different feeling then those standard units we get with kits. I heard the issues about the sticky button, but also heard it's also a minor issue that requires a tiny wiggle. It's certainly a great, consistent unit for those long days when a charger isn't around. It proves to be a good workhorse vaping unit on the go!

Wasn't this thread about the eGo? What happened... :P

Actually, that happened to me when I tried Cappuccino, thought it was the atty, it was new needed to break it in. Used another Atty, still crappy! I was like, "EW is this bad???" Went back to Dulcis and felt like it started getting bad, thought the juices were getting bad... Even tried a few juices from arno which I generally use to vape regularly and it felt like I was getting a headache. So, I took a few hours off and came back, then it started to taste okay to me. Though, I started getting headaches, I figured it was because I was vaping too much...

hahahahaha! Awesome find RustyVape!

How Many Blow Into The Atty To Cool It Down.
StevenP replied to RustyVape's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I usually just unscrew the atty then blow from the battery end to cool it. -
I have to agree, the VPPT is top notch! I got mine yesterday and haven't stopped using it! Anything else I was using before that, just doesn't compare! A+ Quality for sure!

To me, midnight taste a bit fruity, like a slight wine flavor. My brother says it taste like a red licorice flavor. Best, I can describe it. I don't vape it all the time, it's a good once and awhile vape, actually.

I'm Searching For A Mod That Can Go From 3.7 To 5V?
StevenP replied to fatalis's topic in Modders Forum
Sorry, I can't honestly say I've ever heard of a 7 volt mod. Maybe other members might have heard, I already hear that 5-6 volts kill the flavor and run the juice dry fairly fast. As personal preference, I'd prefer a unit that vapes pretty good with consistence. Sounds like your already prepared, hope you have a good time overseas. -
Help, What Are Your Top 3 Favorite Vapor Talk Juices?!
StevenP replied to fatalis's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
So far, Dulcis and Tobacco. I have Cappuccino, but haven't tried it yet. -
I don't necessarily count cigars as smoking since I really rarely inhale cigars, except those minis like Switzer Sweet. But, I can understand your plight, I was down to a single 901 battery and it died constantly, thanks to thesmokingman for selling me a few used batteries for the 901 he wasn't using anymore. Practically saved me. Technically, your not really smoking too much, so I don't really see it as cheating, Sin.

Good Luck, LV! Rooting for ya! Keep us posted!
-
Hey Carguy, welcome to the forum, glad you got into vaping instead of continue smoking!

Geez, it is indeed morbid...
