  1. I can understand why you would want a clearomizer. And I would suggest a vivi nova as it is better than some clearomizers as it doesn't have a cone shape on the top as it is a cylinder shape with no pyramid on it like the CE clearmizers they are good just I don't like the pyramid shape on the top. In my opinion it makes it easier for the center post that the atomizer screws into to be off center and harder for a needle to get in it. The vivi nova from what I seen would give the needle more than enough room to get into it even if the post is crooked. And as for putting coil back on I would have no clue how to do that. I have only seen a video about a did clone and that had screws you put the coil under and screw in to get power to it. I hope this helps and gets you where you want to go. I know how confusing it is I have given up once and went back to analogs once but I am back again and using just vaping instead.
  2. The condom method is the best for filling up cartomizers in my opinion. But you could go for getting a plunger kit: http://www.smoktek.com/CartomizerAtomizer-Cleaning-Kit--With-10ml-Control-Syringe-Luer-lock-compatible-wcleaning-tubes-and-instructions_p_107.html It is a good price I just never got the chance to get it. With this it makes filling cartomizers a snap and it makes cleaning them quick and easy as well. In my opinion this would be even better to use this method rather than the best method with with things that most people have like the condoms.
  3. I think it is quite common with the big ecig companies to have "free trials" for their ecigs. Basically it is to get you to pay just for shipping as it is understandable because giving free shipping to everyone could put any company in a hole they can't get out of. Unless they just happen to be a very big company which I don't think there really is any in the ecig world just yet. Anyways they do this to get as many people hooked into the ecig kits they have so then they will pay an outrageous price for the kit and keep paying outrageous prices for cartridge refills. I think it is alot better to just get cartridges and other things yourself as well as eliquid to do yourself. It is much cheaper this way.
  4. I think the best way to find out is just adjust the voltage until it is seems perfect. For me I just keep upping the voltage until I get a slight burn taste then I put it back down .1 volts and I am good. But I wouldn't really follow that advice as the burnt taste can get quite annoying. I actually have a CE5 clearomizer that looks like that but it has wicks all the way to the bottom and it has deattachable atomizer heads. If this has deattachable atomizer heads I would look at the head it should say how many ohms it is rated.
  5. Weird drip tips. They look good but I think I will stick to the basic drip tip style instead of an odd custom version. Now if they can be made to specifications then I wouldn't mind getting a custom one eventually.
  6. The best I have had was the very first one I tried: http://www.mister-e-liquid.com/kamel-hump/ just add menthol and it is awesome. I haven't tried it by itself so I don't know if it is just as good without the menthol. They also have a light version: http://www.mister-e-liquid.com/kamel-hump-light/ all liquids I have tried here have always tasted great even the free samples that I have always gotten with an order. They are basically new flavors that they are developing and he also has nicotine in the samples unlike others that always have 0 in them. Hope this helps and if you want it like camel crush menthol then add extra menthol and it will be extra cool flavor.
  7. Yeah I did the same thing. I went back to smoking as I found cheap packs of cigars at 1.69. But I eventually decided vaping has to get better. So I found a good cheap vv that goes to 6 volts and attached my tank to it and I was very impressed. A battery at 30.99 isn't that bad of investment. I don't make much as I have to pay bills anytime I do make money. I actually finally got a job but got laid off once again and it has been several weeks. I have mowed lawns but every bit of my money has gone back into bills. Anyways it is good to hear that you are vaping again.
  8. Here is a video review I found: You can always leave a comment and they might respond to you.
  9. If it was a complete kit you got then I would say it would be able equal to the cost that you spent on the pipe itself. But if you got extra things like the tank and different mouth piece then I would say the trade wasn't so even. As I believe the mod you are talking about for the kit is about 100. For the jazz cartopipe by itself it is 115. But with a different battery cover and tank setup that could be almost well over 200 total for it. But I believe it all boils down to if the mod that you got in the trade works better in your opinion then the money spent doesn't matter as you would have just lost about 100 in the trade. I did a little research to come up with these numbers but it doesn't necessarily mean it is 100% correct.
  10. I understand perfectly why some companies can't afford to send out free samples. As Christopher said it is because they are small and can't just spend up to 5 each time to send out samples to hundreds of people that will ask for them. In my opinion the only way that a small business could send out samples is have a limited time promotion and have free samples to give out to people no matter how small their order is as they are paying for the shipping and the things they ordered as well as getting free samples. Now bigger companies could easily do this with no problem. Like P&G for example they are always giving out free samples you just have to know where to go to get them. Just don't expect to get them for awhile because of the company having so many responses it takes awhile to get all the way down the list to send them all out. Now I myself have asked before how I would get free samples in order to review them before and I now realize this takes time and patience. Basically you would have to do what grimm green does which is buy lots of stuff and review everything as best and most honest as you can. Eventually companies will notice and want to send you stuff at their own cost and have you review it to get people to want to buy it.
  11. I don't know if it would be called moisture buildup. But it would seem as if my tip keeps getting water in it. I assume it is because of the vapor. And I really think this is a dumb question. But anyways I am wondering if there is some way to prevent this. And if it is prevented will it make any difference at all? As it is getting a little odd to pull out the drip tip and several drops of water just pop out and make me go nuts.
  12. What do you think is their best juice? I was planing to get more when I could as they didn't credit me for shipping which I entirely understand. I was leaning towards the root beer float I made or possible a kretek blend that someone made on there. I just don't want to run into the odd flavor of the dragons blood when menthol was put in it with extra flavor.
  13. Well they decided to give me a credit on my account. So I guess the next time I decide to get something from them again I will just use the credit towards the total. I guess I will just try some of their different eliquids they have later.
  14. I think 2.9 is an odd starting place like the provari has. I just have one that is a passthrough that isn't integrated. It goes all the way to 6 volts and I am happy with it. The one that you have here is an affordable one that I have heard is good for the price. But I decided to go for the 30.99 one since it can go to 6 volts instead of just 4.8 maximum. I would say it is worth a try since it is so cheap. Just be aware that it has to be plugged in all the time to use it. It can't be used as a battery as it is integrated in the device and it is nondetachable as you can see in the video on the site.
  15. So you have one of the ego passthrough vv mike? If so do you also have a volt meter that hooks up to the battery. If you do can you get something to 6 volts and see if it gets 6 volts?
  16. Yes, it happened to me. The coil just went completely black. It still works just I can't get the volts as high as I could which wasn't that high as I didn't get the coil straight before I used it.
  17. Yeah I went as far as 4.2 but then it tasted badly burnt. Not sure what the deal is but I thought the highest you should get 1.8 is 3.8 from what I read. Am I wrong or is it just that the atomizer head in the clearomizer isn't working properly?
  18. Don't forget healthcabin is located in china unless I am wrong. I have found lots of things from healthcabin and always thought they had the lowest prices. Then finding that they are located in china: http://www.healthcabin.net/page.html?id=6 that is too bad. If they were located in the US with those prices I would definitely buy stuff from them. But the shipping costs from china would be a little too much.
  19. Looks awesome. I wouldn't mind trying one of these things out to see how well it works.
  20. I have the black version of this. And it is great. Being able to use higher voltages for the first time really exceeded my expectations. The puff counter is great too giving me an idea of how long the battery will last on various voltage settings. The battery meter is good too always knowing how much charge is left is good. I had always thought there was something wrong with my ego flashing several times and I just found it was just a dead battery. Now I don't need to wonder anymore it will tell me. Now the next thing I would be looking for would be to increase the watts instead of just the voltage. Would this expand my experience further? Also forgot to mention unlike the provari this battery will actually let you go up to 6 volts on a 1.5 ohm dual coil cartomizer with no issues. I have heard the provari gives off error codes when you try to do this. I would say why spend so much on a provari when you can get one of these much cheaper. I really find no difference in this device from the provari other than it can go as low as 2.9 and the ego-vv can not. Also what exactly is the point in know how many ohms something is? If you don't know how many ohms something is that you bought then you shouldn't have bought it in the first place. Anything I have I know the amount of ohms it has and don't need a battery to tell me the amount in which it could be wrong sometimes.
  21. It would seem like the higher ohms like 2.4 and 2.8 make the juice have more of a menthol taste instead of the other flavor I have in the ejuice. I got down to 1.8 and I don't taste as much menthol as I did and the coil is really crackling unlike the other 2 I had in it. I am on 4.1 volts now and I don't get a burnt taste either are the atomizer heads possibly labeled wrong?
  22. You just have to be careful when doing so. Because if you just grab one of the wicks then you could end up pulling the wick and the coil right out of the head. So just grab both wicks and strain them dry. Afterwords be sure to have the coil in the center of the head as best as you can. Because if it isn't center you coil could touch the metal and cause terrible burning when it is at the normal maximum voltage it is suppose to be able to get to.
  23. I contacted them and had no idea what I was talking about. I sent them pictures but they haven't responded yet. I am not sure what is up I guess I should order from vendors I usually order from instead of trying new. As it would seem the eliquid I got from them is just a bit odd. Only one that was good was this one I had chose specific flavors to put together which was root beer, vanilla, and cookie. Not sure why the other ones came out a bit odd.
  24. I have one of these: http://www.free-cigs.com/Ego-CE5-Replaceable-Head-Clearomizer-_p_109.html as I have mentioned in another thread. I was assuming they are the same as a vivi nova aside from this one is rebuild-able like the rebuild-able version of the vivi nova. But from what I seen it looks to be completely round instead of a pyramid shape on top and round on the bottom of the tube. I would have went with the vivi nova but I didn't want to have to do 2 separate orders even though one had free shipping.
  25. I seen this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjIusGTPB_I and I thought it looked like something cool to get and use. I am just wondering is it as easy as it looked like in the video to build it and get it going? As I thought about getting one at some point as it would seem to me it would be great to have. Also it may perform better as well being able to build the coil as well as the wick yourself instead of just replacing a head.
