Where can I get some of these? And do they have the flange on the bottom to prevent leaking?

Yeah I think so. It has been acting like this ever since I got it. Except when I first got it and took the tank off the 2 holes in the cartomizer were enough and it worked fine. Not sure why it isn't now as I only used it twice I think.

If I pull it back further it would give me a red coil on top. If I keep it this way it stays fine just that the wick doesn't wick very well.

You would have to ask them. Just call them to save time and gas.

Well ever since I got mine I just hated the clearomizer. It is just too different and not in a good way for me.

Well it is acting the same way that it did before I even filed the notches. I even had it smaller but it still acted the same way. That is why I made another notch across it.

Well after having to deal with really slow speeds I went back to my old provider. Now it was a really pain to get these pictures right and focused good. My phone doesn't seem to auto focus very well. Hope this is focused enough. As I don't think I can get a picture any better than this especially that close.

Basically it didn't have it on the bottom so I decided to file it myself. I am not sure if I did it right as it doesn't seem to draw too well. And it isn't even in a tank either. Also it seems like it is making liquid just pop out of the cartomizer into my mouth. Made my tongue a little numb for a second. Good thing I have a towel close to me since this is happening quite a bit.

So is this better than their previous passthrough they had? Mine seems to be dying and I haven't even had it half a year yet I believe.

Well I will take a look at it. I am having an even worse problem. My triple coil cartomizer is acting up. I cleaned it out and put a different eliquid in it and it is weak and is tasting like the previous eliquid I had in it. I am quite certain I flushed all the eliquid out. The eliquid that was in there is jamocha haze. I am assuming it is a coffee and they are hard to get the flavor out. I wish I would have know that before filling it with it. I have lemonade in it and it is just refusing to work right. I am beginning to think the triple coils aren't worth it.

I forgot that I had it on 6 volts and it gave off a bad burnt taste. Then I put it back down and it no longer works. Did my coil pop or something? The coils on these clearomizers are tightly wrapped and are really close together it seems.

It is giving off good flavor. I drench it with liquid and try it but it would seem after that all of it is gone. And I think it is catching fire again. I can hear a flame go out when I stop but it doesn't taste burnt when I did hear it. It may just be this chid isn't so good after all. Until then I am going to be trying to save a little money to get a cartomizer cleaner. I found a attachment for cheap so then I can attach the cartomizers to my syringe and clean them thoroughly.

Are you serious? That is funny there. I just have to try that out. But I don't think that will work so well if it works at all.

No, I have wire. But thanks anyway uma I appreciate it. I was just had a bread tie and was thinking it might be something to use. The wire I have is really thin compared to this breadtie. And no I am not going to use it for a coil I just thought I would post about it to see what anyone would think about it. I can see now it wouldn't be a good idea as a bread tie isn't long enough to wrap around the wick enough times to get a good enough resistance. I will clean my battery threading and stuff and see if it improves. I think it may be my atomizer it keeps deciding to leak even though it doesn't seem to be over absorbing. I am actually still not doing something right. I get a metallic taste from the atomizer. I am guessing I need to oxidize it more as I just used my butane torch lighter to oxidize it several times. It got nice and orange just not white orange. Well I had just cleaned the contacts with some denatured alcohol. It is all I have so it is just going to have to do. I have heard people using it to clean the whole cartomizer anyways by filling a small vial and putting the cartomizer in and shaking it up. Afterwords they run it through some water but I really don't know if it will actually do any good. Anyways after cleaning the contacts it didn't seem to be any different. So it is either the cartomizer or it is the battery. But I really don't know. I am hoping it is the cartomizer as $30 is a total waste if the product decides to deteriorate performance after a few months or so. I have a joyetech ego battery and it is still working perfectly and it has to be much older.

I only have one mod. And I really think it was a waste of $30. It was great at first but now it seems to end up dying quickly. As well as only have a good strong hit the first few times. Then it is little to nothing after awhile.

I had a bread tie and I was thinking maybe it could be used for a coil. I am not sure why it wouldn't be able to other than it may be too thick and won't get enough power to run through it. But I thought since it is thicker shouldn't it be able to heat it better? Also if you end up running out of coils and you are waiting for some to get shipped most anyone would have lots of bread ties laying around. So is this a good idea or is it just something that wouldn't be worth doing?

Well it is not letting me edit my previous post. I just got my chid up and going. Seems to be working fine. I have 4 wraps around the wick and it is a little above the center post and isn't touching the bottom of the tank. It would seem that I am not getting that good of juice absorption though. I am sure I have the coil wrapped good the coil isn't lighting up unless it goes completely dry. Also If I hold the coil in place I can pull the wick and it moves freely. But I think I am doing okay with it now. I am getting no burnt taste and it is all the way to 6 volts too. It would also seem I am not getting much of a flavor but I am getting a little bit of a hit out of it. I have the hole lined up with the wick but no matter how I get it screwed in I can't get it screwed in all the way to get it lined up. If they could get the threading like this cup I have it would be awesome. Just a quarter of a turn of the lid on my cup and it always lines up the way I want it. I mean drinking cup.

Well if a genuine is easier to get the coil set up right then that would be great. This chid is just making me go crazy. The top coil just keeps lighting up and I can almost never get it to where the coils are just heating it eventually with no orange on them. I got it to do it once but eventually it actually started to light up then catch fire. I am going to practice wrapping the coils more maybe I will get lucky and be good enough to wrap this chid so then it will be a snap with a genuine.

Yeah, seems like joyetech is stuck making the product itself more advanced but not the voltage and wattage requirements. Why can't they just do what all other companies have probably already done. Which is surpass 5v and 10w. I bet they have voltage all the way up to at least 9 and wattage up to maybe 20. I am just making a rough guess so if I am wrong don't let me make an *** of myself. I know for a fact though that I have seen voltage all the way up to 8. And triple coils are where you would start to need 8 and up. If they make a quad coil eventually then they are going to need to go even higher. I know I sound a little crazy with that but really everything has to keep getting more advanced so why not a quad coil and more volts and watts.

Corevape is an auction site. And its current price for buy it now is $72.99 which is a great deal. But I didn't see the $8.95 for shipping. Seems a little steep to ship such a small thing. So is it true these only go to 5 volts? I could have swore I seen somewhere in a video with the software it going even higher.

I appreciate it uma. I would need time to get use to getting this chid setup. If I can't ever get it right then I am not sure what I would do with a genuine one. But it would probably help if I have a coil pre-wrapped correctly so then I would get a good idea of how to do it. I guess I just need to practice more and figure out what I am doing wrong. It would be great to be able to save over $2 per a atomizer wick and coil made with this atomizer I have. Then I wouldn't have to worry about having to clean things improperly or even wait for things to dry either.

Yes that is true. There is no cigarettes in a bottle. I believe what they meant was what is the equivalent of a 10ml bottle compared to cigarettes. Or to the most common thing the amount of nicotine in a 10ml bottle compared to cigarettes. Also it depends on the strength of cigarettes you smoked.

Well I think I will just eventually keep trying with the genesis atomizer until I get it right. As it is much cheaper to use it anyway. If I can get it right then I think everything will be fine. A metal tank is probably better than plastic anyways. But then if I got the cleaning kit then I wouldn't need it because there is no way to clean the genesis with it. But the cleaning kit allows you to fill cartos too so it wouldn't matter if I never cleaned them again. I clean them because I switch flavors. Once I decided to just put a different flavor in and it was a little odd. I believe that I had watermelon and then had lemon ice filled up afterwords. It was very interesting. When I vaped it I had lemon coming in and watermelon going out. So mixing flavors isn't always a great thing so I just didn't do that anymore. So I clean them when I switch flavors.
