Yeah, I love that idea, now! I'm definitely learning to plan it at least a little better. So, to all noobs out there.... 3ml samples are ur friend! lol! For sure.

Wow. A glimmer of hope! I've been smoke free for exactly 80 days, so not long. The first 3 weeks were prefilled cartridges that came with my kit, all vg, all very sweet flavors like cola, peppermint, cherry, sweet menthol, vanilla, and all very low nicotine. Naturally, going from being a menthol smoker to that was a very big shock, but I stuck with it. Then, I took the plunge and decided to order Menthol (and increase the nicotine) from two different companies. I just couldn't taste them. To me they tasted like a weak gasoline. About 8 weeks in, I tried another company (Highbrow) and I tried their liquid before I knew they had to steep. So, going through some harsh withdrawals, I just didn't think I was going to make it. A few days later, I tried the Cappuccino Diablo again, and.. wow. It was really, really, really good. I went back to the Pear and the Limoncello and found that, perhaps, I could do this after all. So, yeah, it makes sense. I didn't think I'd ever want anything but Menthol. And then I had such a craving for Tobacco. Really, I think I just wanted a cigarette. I think the only thing that kept me going in the last month was this forum, seeing what others were going through. I've probably been a pest. lol! On my last order, 11 weeks in to the vaping experience, all I wanted were fruity flavors, but I remember someone, maybe it was you, who talked about wanting only fruity flavors and then changing, so I forced myself to order the RY4, the Highbacco Exotic Blend, and the Chai Tea. Of course, I tried the Bobas and I didn't like it, so I'm a bit worried on that one. I also took note that a lot of people after some time liked the sweet stuff, so I ordered the Heavenly Macaroon and Caramel. lol! I'm trying to cover all the bases. I wish someone had done this all for me, ordered like 20 liquids for me and cartos, low resistance, high resistance, whatever. I would literally look at the e-liquid sites and just want a cigarette. Decisions are hard to make during Nooby Days. So, yeah, 11 weeks and 3 days in... I wish my experience were a little more seamless, but there you have it. Right now, all I have is this Key Lime Menthol stuff, so I'm a sad little nooby camper! lol! I'm really glad you found something you really like. I'm sure I'll get there.

Think I'll just cut the RY4 in a 6 ml bottle half juice half 18 mg flavorless just to See what it should taste like. I tell you, I'm so not sure why I don't like tobacco.. mind, it was the Bobas that put me off of it. We'll see. The 555 is tobacco, too, and so many people rave about it. Feels like I'm missing out! Right now, I'm steeping Blackberry Limoncello, Heavenly Macaroon, Chai Tea, RY4, Highbrowbacco Exotic Blend, Caramel, Orange de Sangre, and Cappuccino Diablo.... and the Bobas Bounty. It's been 2 days, so I'll try to hold out for another 3 to 5 days. The Cappucino Diablo is going to be great, I already know that, but not an all-day vape.. maybe a quarter-day vape? lol! I just want to whine and demand an all-day vape! lol!

I ordered some RY4, have no idea what it tastes like and mistakenly ordered a double flavor of it. But, they sent me an unflavored 30 ml, 18 mg. I gather it's a tobacco, but I'm not sure if I like tobacco anymore. Strange. The Vanilla cupcake and the Cinnamon Danish Swirl sounds good, though!

I take it back. Had to let the Cappuccino Diablo steep. It's AMAZING. Highbrow is even more amazing. I ordered eight juices from them this time, double flavor.

lol! Yeah, I know what you mean! Just when I think I'm good for the next 2 months I see this or that and get excited. My biggest downfall is e-juice, however, and with the clearomizer I can switch juices so easily, it's exciting! Even when it's virtually empty, the juice is still on the wick and works just fine, no dry nasty hits. But, I don't know that the flavors are as strong as my cartos. Jury is still out on that one.

The key lime is ok. It's really all I have, besides the Bobas, until my juices from Highbrow steep. Ok, well, not true. It's all I can Vape that I have. I did notice that the juice I left in the clearomizer overnight was a little thick this morning. I wondered if it was clogged. It was certainly a darker color (is this normal?) and the liquid is Much thicker than it was yesterday, but it seems to be fine, so far. One thing I realize about the clearomizer is that it is low resistance, like my boge cartos. I think I would like a little bit more draw. But, that's just me. As I circumnavigate this e-cig saga of my life, I'm discovering that I like standard resistance when I'm just vaping at leisure and low resistance when I just need a nicotine infusion. Oh, and it looks like I really do not like tobacco. So, that's two things. But, that may change when I try the Bobas again next week. Oh, another thing about the clearomizer is that it makes me feel like I'm sucking on a baby bottle. Since the wick is at the top and it's not hole-punched at the bottom (really solid) I tend to turn it upside down. Really funny. I don't think it's something I would use in public. lol!

Oh, my... "Know Thyself"... I "know exactly where that road leads".. lol! I've totally stayed away from computer games (other than hearts and solitaire). I don't even want to go down that road. (Addictive personality, here). At school we play the game,.. "Name that sci fi quote". It's an obsession! I draw the line at "Name that episode and title".. my brain just will Not go there. It's a safety mechanism. Too much of a good thing leads to nicotine addiction.

@kitsune... Yes, Day 2 on the clearomizer. It really is very simple. The flavor is pretty good. I don't have anything strong in there right now.. I mixed a rather flavorless Menthol I got from Innovapor with some Key Lime flavoring from Lorann and this Tart and Sour flavor booster. It's rather mild with a very nice aftertaste. So far, it's really smooth. I'm not sure if it's guzzling juice or if I just really like it. Haven't had much of an opportunity to Vape today, so maybe I'm making up for lost time. Just fill and go. Easy. @jeffb.. Letting the Bobas steep for a bit. I'm not sure if it's going to do any good. But, the nice thing about the experience is that I just realized that I no longer like tobacco. In a way, I feel liberated. If I wind up liking it after a week, then I'm sure I'll be quite happy to stay bound. @Mas924... If I don't like the Bobas, I'm sure it will be headed your way. lol!

Ah, yes, PG.. I'm feeling much better about that since you mention the throat hit. I really did want to look into it more, he's going to need some strong flavors. Smoking so much really kills the taste buds. I would probably have to mix it with a DV tobacco, though, since I'm sure that is what he's going to be craving at first. Thank you so much for your support. I could not have done this without you. You know, it's strange. Now that he's ordered the setup, he doesn't really want to talk about it. But, I have a good feeling about the Kgo. I think it will really suit his needs. One step at a time.

Oh! I should have thought of that! Ok, I think I'll just order that for him. Right now, he's made the first step, I don't even dare to mention yet another site for yet another device. Any suggestions?

Oh..oh.. I love this contraption! It's so.. easy. Easy to use, easy to clean, no spilling, no mess.. just easy. I'm like.. amazed. Truly. It does burn through juice, though, I have to say, but otherwise, pretty decent. Also, it has no trouble with 100% VG, not even a stain remained when I flushed it out with water. However, about the Bobas.. I just got mine today, and I hate to commit sacrilege or the like, BUT... I feel like a lesser species. Maybe it just has to steep. They say it doesn't have to steep. I hope it just has to steep. Please let it just have to steep!!

Well, he got the Kgo kit from hoosier ($45), the Boge cartos, elegance clearomizer (love mine, just got it today), and drip tips from Altsmoke (free shipping and 5% off), and three different Menthols from Liberty (20% off). Couldn't figure out the Decadent Vapor.. whether it was just a menthol liquid like the crystals in liquid form or if was an actual juice. The site was a bit confusing. We got all PG (was iffy about that), but I wasn't sure about the blend--couldn't quite figure it out before he became a bit overwhelmed. I wanted him to get a few of the emdcc, but by the time we got to it he was pretty much fried. I think he was overwhelmed by the handful of sites I sent him to; little does he know that I had to go through dozens over and over again before I found something adequate. He's lucky. Very lucky. I'm have him purchase a few of those eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers but have him try out the juice on a smaller carto or the atty beforehand.

It says that the eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer holds up to 5 ml of juice. How does the flavor of that carto compare to the flavor of a regular boge? Awesome that a carto can even hold that much liquid. Perhaps it's a good idea for him to find the e-juice he likes before he fills one of those. I'll have him order a few of those, too. You know, his cigarettes cost $140 a carton. He's going to save a lot of money in the long run if this works for him.

Good point on the DIY; I was thinking of mixing it myself, more tobacco than Menthol, and sending it to him. If they don't turn out right, I just won't send it. @Viper Ron.. Is that just like a big boge cartomizer? Is that a 510? It looks different.

Have decided on the kgo kit (has two 1100 mah and atomizers, etc.), 4 packs of boge 2.0 cartos from VaporKings, and juices at 24 mg (555, dv menthol, and a diy mixing as suggested). In a few week's time, or less, I'm sure he's going to come back to me with tank requirements. I didn't have any luck with the vaporescence tanks I ordered after only a few weeks of Vaping, any suggestions?

Thanks kitsume! The kit I was looking at was like $70. Yes, I'll definitely try to convince him on the 24 mg. I'd rather him Vape a ton of that than mess around with the 36 mg. So, if he's mixing the tobacco and menthol, would you put more menthol than tobacco? Half and half? I may have to do that for him at first. Would you add menthol crystals? (Have never bought menthol crystals)

I saw a kgo kit out there and the kit comes with atomizers, not cartridges. I have absolutely no experience with atomizers (mine haven't come in yet). It use the 2.0 boge cartridges and V2 cartridges. Both have different threading. What kind of threading does a kgo have? The Boge I have is 510 threading. Not sure if they come in anything else. And, do you think that 24 mg nic would be enough? Hi everyone. My brother is a 2 to 3 pack a day smoker, and he smokes Kools, which is one those analogs with the highest nicotine out there. We're supposed to meet up today online (different states) so that I can suggest a setup and a juice (very important to him) that would suit his needs. I've been all over the e-cig cyber-map in the last month researching myself into a spin. If it were anyone else, I could suggest this or that, but I can't do this one. It's too important and I'm too green. You have no idea how much I appreciate all of you, this forum, during this time of transition. Please help me to save my brother in like manner.
