  1. You guys are so lucky. At least you know what you like. I made a noobie mistake; ordered 30 ml bottles thinking, "Hey, that sounds great!" Here's where I am so far: V2: 1. Menthol 12mg and 6mg: Sweet and minty. It was good, but since I ordered the low nic and prefilled cartos, I climbed the walls on this one. 2. Peppermint 12mg and 6 mg. Sweeter, like chewing gum. 3. Coffee 12 mg and 6 mg: Sweet, creamy, Really tastes like coffee with cream and sugar 4. Cola 12 mg and 6 mg: Not bad if you like flat cola. 5. Cherry 12 mg and 6 mg: Robitussin all the way, and not the good kind. I tolerated it after a while. Halo: 1. Menthol Ice, 18mg: (four 30 ml bottles).. Not bad, not great. 2. Apple 12 mg: (THREE 30 ml bottles) Yuck! Tastes like rotten apples. Anybody want it? Provape: 1. Peach, 18 mg: (One 30 ml) This does not feel like 18 mg, but it is Really Good. Innovapor: 1. Menthol, Full Flavor 18 mg and 24 mg; Practically flavorless, but the cleanest nicotine hit I've tried so far. I mean, you can really tell the difference. When I learn more about Vaping, I will try to mix it with... something. A flavor. Yes, flavor is good. But, for right now, nicotine is better. Highbrow Vapor: 1. Lemoncello 18 mg (30 ml): Very mild Lemon. More sweet than lemon. It's okay. Almost like a very watered down alcoholic drink with a trace of lemon. 2. Cappuccino Diablo 18 mg: (30 ml) It tastes like beer. I don't like beer. Beer anyone? 3. Pear 18 mg (30 ml): Rotten pear. Not sweet. Pear anyone? Conclusions: I'm a noobie. No sense whatsoever. I must not like the fruity stuff, other than the Peach from Provape. That was delicious. Going to have to wait a month to get more because I've exhausted my budget on e-juice for this month. For now, my mainstay will have to be the flavorless, but purest nicotine juice from Innovape. I bought a 125 ml of the Menthol 24 mg. It's not enjoyable, but it does the job. I "think" I miss cigarettes, but since I can taste now, the smell of cigarettes is, Oh, so strong and icky. I don't think I can do it. But, the six packs of Misty Menthol 120s staring at me in the face makes me look back and remember how I use to just LOVE the flavor. I do miss that--loving the flavor. Wish me luck. I don't know if I'm going to make it!!!
  2. Has anyone tried the Capuccino Diablo from Highbrow? It tastes like.... beer. I really do not like the taste of beer. I have to stop buying 30 ml bottles. I also have three 30 ml bottles of the Apple stuff from Halo. It tastes like.. rotten apples? Ok, I'm a noob.
  3. Yes. As much as I hate to admit that (because I sound like a druggie), that's what it feels like. One cartridge feels like 2 to 3 analogs. The only other thought I had on this is that, perhaps, my body is simply not absorbing the nicotine as well as others. I received my 24 mg e-juice yesterday, and, oh my goodness, I just feel so much better. Sad, but true. After nearly 2 months you would think that I would have adjusted to the lower nicotine, but, no. Thanks for all of the good info you guys. Thanks for your HONESTY.
  4. Ok, so not to be impertinent, but aren't you hooked already? I mean, do you think that if you Vaped the 36 mg that somehow you would have to keep going up to satisfy your cravings? Seriously, I'm asking. As a smoker, I never thought I would go to 2 packs a day. One pack a day, maybe a bit more occasionally, was fine for me. I never felt I needed or wanted more. Sorry if this is a dum question, but I'm so new to this. As a new Vaper, however, I'm climbing the walls and Vaping excessively. Just can't seem to get it right. Respectfully, Breal
  5. Increased pressure to quit smoking causes stress. As a result smokers want to smoke more. It's that simple. Tactics == Response fear == Stress manipulation == Angry Stress control == == Rebellious and Angry Stress prohibition == Wonderful business opportunities for the Black market.. i.e. War RESULT: Failure
  6. My word!! That's a fantastic article! Very exciting.
  7. With me, it's all of the breath mints, the chewing gum, the smelly lotions, mists, perfumes for myself, the car, the house! Anything to hide the fact that I was a smoker, since I teach SAT classes and gifted students. And, even if they couldn't smell it, I could still smell it on me (so, no peace of mind there). Oh, and don't forget the yellow fingernails. Lots of nail whitener, etc. There's only so much you can hide with chalk. Although I think I spend more on e-juice than I did on cigarettes ($45 a carton for Misty's here in Virginia, a pack a day) because I'm still a newbie trying to get the nicotine content right, I am certain I come out ahead in the end.
  8. Hope! Thank you!!
  9. What brand do I use? Ok, now that is a bit of a nightmare. I started with just refilling the cartos that came with Stog (very tiny). Then I went to the V2. Finally, I got a Provari battery and ordered their cartos. Now, I think I'm going to get a 510 (or one of the kits on this site) and try the atomizer/cartridge thing. But, you are right. When I am not at work I've been vaping excessively. I don't know what it is, it's just not as satisfying as it used to be.
  10. Hi everyone! I'm just a newbie, only 7 weeks on e-cigarettes after a 15 year excursion in tobacco land. And I have a question that has plagued me since I started. I've read in several places that a cartridge is equivalent to a whole pack of cigarettes. Now, I was a pack a day smoker and I go through about 5 cartridges a day. Yikes! I was a pack a day smoker, so being a Math SAT instructor, I counted. I Vape the equivalent of FIVE packs a day??? I'm boggled because I still feel like I'm nicotine deprived. Granted, I went from 6 mg to 12 mg to 18 mg and have just ordered the 24 mg. I feel just a little alarmed. So, my question is obvious. Is a cartridge actually a whole pack of cigarettes? Has anyone ever had this question? Make no mistake, I'm feeling so much better since I've started e-cigs and won't give up on them. Nothing with entice me to pick up an analog again (knock on wood).
  11. Hi everyone! I just thought I would introduce myself. I quit smoking 7 weeks ago, with the help of e-cigarettes. I've smoked a pack to a pack and a half a day on and off (mostly on) for 15 years. I'm a part time SAT teacher, and can't tell you what a struggle it has been to be a smoker in my fielf. I've quit twice during that time (cold turkey), but this last time I just Knew I would never be able to quit, until I discovered e-cigarettes. I had to go through three kinds of e-cigarettes just to find a battery that would meet my needs. Now, I'm trying to find an e-liquid that won't make me feel like I'm not getting enough nicotine. But, I won't give up! Thanks for having this site. I can't tell you what a help it is to know that it can be done!
