  1. I've noticed this, too. Even though I bought a 125 ml 24 mg Menthol, I find that after the first few days I haven't touched it. I think I'm going to have some lower nic on the side next time. Haven't been Vaping as much as usual, today. Been drinking a lot of coffee.
  2. Yes. Have increased my intake of coffee (amazing how much that helps), yesterday, and am actively searching for the right juice. Thank you, mega.
  3. No, I'm very glad to be rid of the ashtrays. There is nothing I miss about lighting or flicking. The withdrawals come in waves. It's like my body is missing something which nicotine does not completely satisfy. I'm sure it will pass. It's good to be aware of the markers, however--those at 2 months, 4 months, 9 months, 18 months, and, at last, 10 years. I hit the 2 month mark. But, thank you. I've read on the psychological addiction we must all feel upon quitting analogs; for this, I'm grateful for e-cigs which make a safer substitute.
  4. Yes, I started at 6 mg, thinking I was going to be brave. Finally, I bought 24 mg and 18 mg, which is where I should have been. I think I'll stay on those dosages a while until I can just remain on the 18 mg. After some time, I'll revisit the issue. And, I drink a lot of water now, as well. Lemon water, actually. Lemon and ginger are supposed to help with the withdrawals, someone told me that, and it helps. I won't go back. I can't go back. Stay strong everyone. I haven't found my sweet spot, either, but I know I will. @ bear.. I've been analog free for only 3 weeks, but could not have made it this far without vaping.I stop and think, hell I invested 50 years on maintaining that nasty habit,I can overcome a few witthdrawl pains to stay smoke free! Fifty years is a long time. I can just imagine how happy your family is and how proud of yourself you must be. It's a wonderful thing that you've quit. Stay strong. We are all joining you in this fight, I'm sure. Thank you all for joining me in mine. "....a few withdrawal pains", I like that. I can do this!
  5. Stevia has a really strong aftertaste. Will that come out in Vaping?
  6. Thanks, mega. The more I learn, the greater my resolve to stay away. I'm really grateful for this site.
  7. coffee.. lol! Ya, definitely going to do that. Great idea. Love caffeine. I think running would help, too. I think I'll renew my subscription to the gym. As for "a few days" though? I would have thought so, too. But, I guess not in my case.
  8. Ok. That was very informative (and disturbing). I had NO idea. It makes me wonder what else tobacco companies are hiding. So, I ask you. Will these 'withdrawal' symptoms go away? Or, is the nicotine I get from Vaping merely prolonging the process? I know I'm getting enough nicotine, sometimes too much. Is my body simply looking for those 'extra' chemicals to interact with the nicotine (which may be why I know I'm taking in too much)?
  9. I posted this on another thread, but I felt it needed its own topic. It's been 2 months that I've quit analogs and now that I've gotten the nicotine dosage correct, I still feel like I'm withdrawing. I know it's not the nicotine, and someone referred to there being other chemicals with addictive qualities in cigarettes, perhaps even different ones in different brands. I did some research couldn't find much on it other than a thread on another site talking about it and how, due to these other addictive chemicals, there are setbacks after 2 months, 4 months, 9 months, 1 and a half years, and 10 years. Apparently, it was on some news program years ago. There's so little information, it's frustrating. Has anyone ever heard of this or experienced extended withdrawals after having quit? Of course, the nicotine is the most addictive, and with e-cigs that pretty much takes care of that. Did anyone feel like they were withdrawing even after they began e-cigs?
  10. I would be VERY much interested in knowing what other chemicals in cigarettes are addicting. I'm convinced you are right. I did some research and found this from another forum: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/48181-cigarettes-addictive-chemicals.html ... but no one replied to it. It's disturbing.
  11. The first time I charged my battery, it took about 7 hours. But, it only takes a few hours now, if that.
  12. I'm spoiled. I love my Provari. It's not the most attractive thing in the world, so I use my original V2s when I'm out. I'm looking to replace those soon--just looking for something that lasts longer than a V2 long battery (maybe a 510?). I use the Provape cartos LR recommended by their site, but they're expensive and I'm not crazy about the Vape they produce. But, that's just the cartos. I have some Stog cartos I reuse for now (my first e-cig). But, since I got my Provari, I can rest easy. It will never fail. It lasts all day.
  13. I use the 18650 in a Provari. Do you have backups? It tends to last all day, but I only have mine set to 3.8 or so. Anything higher than that makes the juice not taste so well.
  14. Why don't you send a pre-filled carto to everybody and we'll take a poll! Ha! We can rate it on a scale of 1 to 10. The score of 1 could be, "It's the nastiest thing I've ever tasted!" and a score of 10 could be, "I'm a believer! This is my next all-day Vape! I will never need another flavor again!"
  15. You know, there's just something about smokers that I find very cool. For the most part, they are a laid back and very accepting people. I love going out to the 'unofficial' smoking area at work. But, lately, since I stopped smoking, I've been bringing out my e-cig/pv. Some of them really, really like the idea. But, there's a general consensus that I'm not a smoker anymore. I should be happy about that. I am happy about that. But nonsmokers still consider the e-cig to be a cigarette, and smokers consider them... welI, I don't know what they consider them to be--just not a cigarette. This one smoker told me that it's more akin to drugs, a fix. Now, that disturbed me. What does he think he's doing when he's smoking a cigarette anyway! Oddball. So, I guess, we are a different society.
  16. Ha! I was a little embarrassed to ask what a PV was. Thanks! I think I'll use that for a while.
  17. Keep at it and pioneer the way for the rest of us!
  18. Have you found an all day Vape?
  19. Really exciting. I'm just thinking about how much money that would save... if I can come up with a Really good all day Vape. That is all I want in the world right now. Love Chemistry. But Math is my first love.
  20. Curious. What did start it all? The furthest I can think is just plain tobacco in its dried state -- burned and inhaled. Now, it is turned into a liquid -- heated and inhaled. What was I thinking??! Ha!
  21. Does the pg come with the nic already? Or do you have a bottle of nic. If so, what is the ratio?
  22. So, I'm a bit confused on the pricing. InnoVapor is like $22 for 30 ml, Halo is about $20 for 30 ml. Now, I hear that some 30 ml is like $5. Hmmmm... Is it the quality? Is it so different? I guess I can understand InnoVapor because the nicotine is so pure. But.. But... But... hmmmm
