As long as it doesn't taste like cough syrup! Had a bad experience with V2 Cherry.
-
So, you mix your own. I'm coming to the conclusion that I will have to do that at some point.
-
Ok, so if you're looking for a semi-sweet full flavored tobacco, which do you recommend?
-
So, I'm curious. I hear that after Vaping for a while, some people get away from the tobaccos. I sort of see it now (sort of). Why did you go away from 555 and Torque? Oh, yeah, one more thing. I was a Menthol smoker, and I'm finding the the Menthol e-liquids I've found so far (4 of them from 4 different companies--V2, Stog, Halo, InnoVapor) are really harsh. Well, maybe not the V2--that was a lot too sweet for me. Also, I'm craving just a regular tobacco flavor (weird, since I've never smoked those).

This is to both: It's not like I was completely unhappy with V2, still really enjoy their red and sahara juices anyway, but it was definitely a good learning experience and a good, easy brand to help get your foot in the door. But I will agree with the faulty carts, about 20% of my 40 ordered carts either did not last long or were no good off the bat, but it was a well enough built of a product for me to want to explore vaping in more detail, so it was worth the money IMHO. Yes, you're right. I"m sorry about giving V2 a negative rap. To be honest, it is thanks to V2 that I didn't quit on e-cigs altogether. They really got me by while I searched for something that would more adequately suit my personal needs. My point is that I am personally very sorry I didn't come here first. But that's just me. Nothing against V2. (ok, maybe just a little because that really hurt my wallet. Yikes!)

This is a really good thread. I would really like to know what everyone uses for an all-day Vape -- just an all-day Vape, the comforting standby.
-
There should also be a set up for the pass thru set up, something to hold it upright so you don't have to search for it (have to grade a ton of work), I never use mine because it always winds up on the floor.
-
The V2 was my second set up, as well. Wow, are they expensive. You know, someone should put up a veteran's vapor review. It would save a lot of time and headache (and wallet-ache) for noobs.

Ok, mega, I have a challenge for you. If I gave you an e-liquid, could you recreate it?
-
Have you found an e-juice you really like, bear?

Since you've been Vaping, do you find that cigarette smoke is slow? And, if you have a cigarette, is it like you remembered? I mention it because when I ordered my first kit, since the batteries didn't last long, I had to have a cigarette every once in a while. but, after I started Vaping, it just wasn't the same. I didn't enjoy it as much. It was really frustrating. Now, I find the smell of cigarettes to be Very strong. It was so frustrating to be within two worlds.

Can't wait to try your peacekeeper. Love the name. Is it a tobacco flavor?
-
I ordered two tanks from them. They don't really update, but you will get it.

I hear you. When I'm off work, and if I'm not out and about, I just want to Vape! Playing piano, computers, anything scholastic, even a good workout makes me want to Vape! I think I'll take up crocheting, again.
-
Well, one day, I hope to be as brave as you! We'll have to exchange recipes.

Sadly, I made some noobie mistakes in ordering 30 mls bottles. I haven't found those flavors that really do it for me, yet. Not for lack of trying!! Thankfully, I've been trading them off and have tried about a dozen different flavors. Still, no 'sweet spot'. I was a Menthol smoker, but you know what, for some reason, I don't crave Menthol anymore. For some reason, I just crave something regular. Flavors are great, I love Peach from Provape, and this Dekang USA Mix that some wonderful person on this site traded with me. It's really nice to know that when I do find it, it will help me through those difficult cravings.

You know what may work on college campuses or high schools? Two people kissing with someone spewing black gunk. Very unattractive, but not as graphic as the pictures they are going to put on packs of cigarettes. Youth feeling invincible and all that. Sorry for the bluntness, just saying. Agreed. Nicotine is not the demon here. It has many and varied valuable uses.

Seriously. The sad part is, younger and dummer, I don't think knowing all of this would have stopped me. I would like to think it would have. It was a social thing. I like what they are doing in schools these days, making it sound like a disgusting habit, which it is, may be a good idea (as long as there is no cruelty to people who choose to smoke anyway) Sort of like making it 'not cool' to be a bully. Maybe it'll work. We'll see.

I believe it!

They don't wash the leaves! They sweep the floor of the remains and put it in the cigarette! Ha! I feel like I've smoked dirt.. which I'm sure is in there, along with ash.. BUT, on a positive note, I don't anymore! So happy. 2 months and counting.

Yes, I have heard of that! It's really exciting science. From what I've read in the past week, nicotine, like most substances, requires density. Vapor is not as good a delivery system as smoke from a cigarette -- smoke is more dense. The way this Biochemistry professor tried to explain it to me, he said that smoke also gives nicotine a 'sticky' substance. As the cilia in your lungs serves to clean, filter, and absorb, smoke sticks, thereby allowing a longer lasting nicotine delivery system which damages the cilia. I'm not a Biochemist, and I'm not explaining it as concisely as she did, but it made sense. I wish there were a list of different cigarette brands and their nicotine content. Someone here said that we get about 1 mg nicotine absorption per cigarette, approximately. I would imagine that would also depend on the brand. There was also a poll on this site which asked the amount of nicotine people purchase. From what I saw, the greater number of people purchased 24 mg. So, I'm guessing, and this is just a guess, that 24 mg is the norm?

Ok, noobie is very grateful to be put in place. Going to refer them ALL to YOU.

Wow. I love that you count the days! I know what you mean about quitting and then starting up again, how great it is. I had a similar experience when I started Vaping. The e-cig I purchased did not fit my needs (batteries not powerful enough), so I had to do both, Vape and Smoke. I completely lost my love for smoking within that week. I was ruined forever, or should I say, Saved. I "think" that if I tried it now it will be that great experience of quitting and 'finally going back to old faithful' The Peace. But, I absolutely know that will never happen. I can't smoke anymore. It won't ever be the same. Thank goodness.

Awesome!

Too late! Ha! Hey, got three people from work going to try e-cigs! Recommending the ego-c.
