What I cannot do is to go back to cigarettes--even for a hiking trip.

So, observation: After relatively dealing with addictives in cigarettes other than nicotine, I find a new addiction creeping up. It's a tad concerning. Cumin. Yep, Cumin. I had chicken soup at lunch, today, and I decided that it would be nice to have cumin in my chicken soup. Pretty lame a discussion, I know, but.... wait for it! Cumin. The kitchen didn't have ground cumin but they did have cumin seeds, so I decided to put the whole darned seeds in my chicken soup -- *dribble. You know in that movie Castaway where Tom Hanks finally manages to make fire, well, yeah.. He says, "I have made FIRE!, Yes I have made FIRE!!... " I felt like walking up and down the hallway yelling, "I, yes, I have CUMIN!..", etc It was amazing. So, I thought,.. it's time for a 7-day hiking excursion... and, then, PANIC. I can't charge my e-cigs on the trail. Uh Oh.

I haven't found that perfect remedy, yet, but at least now I do feel more at ease. I no longer feel like I'm on some frantic search for the holy grail.

The first month, my nic was way too low (6 mg and 12 mg), so last month I ordered 18 mg. That helped for like a DAY, so early this month I ordered 125 ml of Menthol at 24 mg, and that helped for a few days. On a trade, some wonderful human being gave me a 36 mg, and finally, BLISS... I was in love with life again. It was amazing. The horns fell off, my students saw that I was no longer the Wicked Witch of the West, and I was no longer She Whom Could Not Be Named---for the moment. I couldn't Vape that all day long, but it helped immediately. I instantly went back to 18 mg. I haven't even touched the 24 mg since. Odd?

Seventy Days!! Today makes 70 days since that last cigarette. I'm so happy. I appreciate all of your support and insight, you guys. You know how some have the tendency to over-think things, the insatiable desire to know the workings, every in and out of what is happening to them (in this case, cigarette addiction and the withdrawal of cessation)? They feel if they can just understand the thing, turn it over every which way -- length, width, breath, time -- forcing the unacceptable unknown into a tameable, neat, clear, simple and elegant proof-oriented conclusion. And, Viola! Understanding! Peace! Hope and Victory! Yeah, well, that's me. SO, after extensively bashing my head against a wall with all of this, I have come to a conclusion. Actually, the conclusion is not mine. It worthily belongs to KITSUNE. I gave up on worrying about being addicted to nicotine or what not.....I really like my coffee too, and sunshine and fatty foods and sugary foods, driving too fast......

Still have to smoke in the very unofficial smoking section. I just stand a little farther away and revel that I can actually smell it. I'm astounded that I never really did before... not with the affect I do now, that is.

lol! @ mega.. Addicted to Vaping. Totally. This holiday has been a long one... I just couldn't stop Vaping today (grading exams.... OH! Frustrating sometimes!). Too much nicotine. But the thought of going to 0 mg nic is just Not appealing. I need a nic-kick when I Vape. I'm going to need an entire cabinet of assorted e-liquids of varying strengths. To boot, I'm going to need to prefill the cartos of assorted e-liquids of varying strengths. I can see it now: 7 prefilled cartos of Coffee e-liqud (one 36 mg, one 24 mg, one 18 mg, one 12 mg, three 6 mg) ditto on the Menthol, Tobacco, Peach, and the mystery all-day Vape I have yet to find. Let me do the Math... 35 pre-filled cartos on standby at all times. Or 5 tanks--provided they don't get stale (does that happen?) I don't remember all this fuss while I was smoking. Or maybe I do. I do remember wanting to smoke (especially while grading) and not being able to take another drag. Sad, I know. Of course, things are always stressful before SATs. So, maybe I'm exaggerating. But, not by much!! Sadly, I am definitely addicted to something other than nicotine.

I so know what you mean! It's crazy Strong! I don't say anything because I so get it. I really get it. I just don't see how to possibly hide that smell, although I tried -- perfumes, sprays, lotion, anything.

Ha! I just ordered an adapter earlier so that I can run my 808 cartos on my provari. I can't believe those tanks are so cheap! Thanks blucavvy. I can't even think how a cartomizer can hold 4 ml. Is that just like a bigger regular cartomizer?

I hear you about the fiddling (love the cat). I wish the cartomizers would hold more than a mil of liquid. I tried a tank once, thinking that if I could just fill one of those a day, and just use my regular batteries from V2 during the day, I'd be set! I bought two tanks (2 of them for $100, Vaporescence -- Yikes!) and was very excited. Until... . So, yeah, they were kind enough to take them back.

So, if you don't like dripping, what do you do?

Thanks, guys. I really have a lot to learn. I've only been using cartomizers, but I'm just about ready to switch. Since I have a good battery (provari), then all I have to do is to by atomizers, right? lol! I feel silly.

So, is it that you get a better flavor and vapor production from an atty/carto rather than a cartomizer?
