  1. yes, the advantage to it is that every piece on it can be replaced as opposed to a standard ego which when the battery dies you throw the whole unit, the e power has replaceable batteries, tubes, cones, connections etc...
  2. the v/t/f won't change much at all. The voltage only varies slightly between the 2. However the kgo has a MUCH larger battery life. So it def has that on the bloog. Also the kgo can handle lr stuff without fear of harming the battery. the mah on most 808 batteries is too low to handle lr stuff, now that doesn't mean you can't use lr stuff on a low mah battery but you do so at the risk of greatly reducing the overall lifespan of ur battery. Personally all I use are lr boge cartos on my 808s but I do so knowing one day it will kill the batt. Luckily 808s are cheaper than fat batts. all that being said, go for the kgo ull like it, its a solid device, and ur bloogs will make a good back up
  3. you can drip on 808 batteries just so you know. Pick up a 901 atomizer, the new gen 2 808 auto batteries, like the bloog are drip resistant, but if you pick up a manual 808 you can use a 901 atty and drip all day as they are sealed. http://www.litecigusa.net/product_p/901atom.htm on to the kgo I just picked up a diabetics insulin bag from walgreens for $4 and its perfect! I can fit a LEO batt, a few LEO cartos, several 808 batts and cartos and chargers in it so I'm sure it would fit the kgo. Just a thought

  5. the joye 510 is a slim style pv. there's 2 different sizes one is about 70 or 80mm and one is 100+mm if i'm not mistaken. i believe the 100+mm are roughly 280mah give or take some. and the 70 or80mm are maybe 200mah. they are a fairly low voltage batt but i do not know the exact specs. imho for a slim ecig i would not recommend it. though there are lots of options available for it the slim battery is just not good. most people that start with them find that when they move up to a bett ecig (say the ego) realize how horrible the v/t/f was on the joye 510. (vapor/throat hit/flavor) if you want a good slim battery the only one i can personally recommend (based on personal use and really good reviews) would be a gen 2 kr808, there's nothing wrong with the gen 1 (i use several myself and love them) but the gen 2's are regulated to 3.6 volts which is nice. they come in 3 different sizes. most people that use these love the v/t/f. grimmgreen and pbusardo gave them outstanding reviews. you can look them up on youtube. the downside to these is they can be a tad on the expensive side for a full kit, but if your'e interested pm and i can shoot you a list of very good vendors. they will not fit your current budget however though. 65mm-220mah 78mm-320mah 102mm-420mah that being said each vendor has just a tad bit gen 2 batt. v4l seems to have the best draw (hit) and some vendors even claim that their batts have higher than average mah, believe somewhere i read bloog mf rates their 102mm at 480mah which is outstanding for a slim ecig. the other thing to consider with a slim ecig is that most will not support a low resistance atty/carto. the 400+mah batts should be fine and i've ran lr stuff of several of the smaller ecig batts but you do so at the risk of greatly reducing the overall lifespan of your battery. the joye 510 ego is a completely different animal. same 510 threading, completely different battery, usually lowest mah rating of at least 600, so WAY better than a slim ecig. even the 400+mah 102mm kr808's. the ego is a very good pv, and i will certainly not try to dissuade you from getting one. i would definately recommend an eGo kit if you have the money. on to the leo, yes it is better than a joye 510 in every way shape and form. period. for the price the boge leo i linked you to earlier, is simply moneywise your best current option in terms of a really good device for cheap.
  6. try yanking on it with a paper clip or something, unless you post pics it's hard for us to really know.
  7. the older style boge/innokin leo's are not 510 threaded no they are a proprietary threading. however there are adaptors that you can get to switch to 510 threading. i'll have one in a few days and will post results the newer innokin leo's however called the innokin "leo pro" are 510 threaded. however i don't believe they are even out yet. they're a tank system like the ego c. but of course that does not mean you have to run the tanks. the biggest reason i posted that particular one is that he'll have a good system (even if currently it's not 510 compatible) that is extremely cheap with a high mah battery, passthru capabilities, access to large carto's for ease of use, and a tried and true product that's known to work very well. all for under 25 bucks shipping included. all he needs to supply is juice, for his particular budget i just personally believe it's his best option for a quality product.
  8. i think it's the blu stuff that is reversed polarity. something about some 510 stuff will work with some blu stuff or vice versa, i honestly don't remember. but reverse polarity stuff does exist. i don't know if the 51 trio stuff is reverse polarity or not, if it's just regular 510 stuff your'e good but i don't know
  9. the nice thing about the slim batts is that they're great for a "going out" type ecig. it looks a lot less goofy going out with a little 510 or 808 that it does going out with a mod, and typically when i'm at a bar or wherever it is i need convenience i'm not vaping non stop like i am at home, so 280 or 380mah is more than enough to last me till i get home. that's what i keep my 808's around for. they're just so much more convenient for going out. and anybody that isn't a chain vaper can make 280mah last alot longer than most of us can lol
  10. http://www.vapornine.com/nebula-express-starter-kit.html i should have mine in hand tomorrow and i'll post a review, i'm certain it's nothing special but for a basic gen 1 kr808 it should be fine. and the price simply can't be beat, swap out the carto's and use some 2.0lr boge carto's and bam tons of vapor/throat hit/and flavor off a little *** ecig
  11. that's y i would really recommend a better manufacturer or vendor. they won't have a problem giving you the atty/carto/battery numbers and if they are a good vendor/product they should'nt be afraid to give you that info. systems that are tried and true and have a strong following are where you should be investing your money. like the ego family, whether it's the ego c, ego t, ego, vgo, go go, etc. etc.... or the leo that i linked earlier for you, or a good kr808 device if you like the "slim type" ecigs. all these devices don't just stop with a basic atty/carto, you can get low resistance stuff, tanks, clearo's and the list goes on and on and on so that you can customize to the exact style of vaping you enjoy. http://www.foreverva...its/joye-ego-c/ http://www.vapor4life.com/home.php the mystic may have done the job, and if it did that's great, anything that gets you off cigs is a good ecig. but that's where it ends imo. if your'e looking for an upgrade be prepared to spend a few bucks. that's just the way it is with anything, ecigs are no exception. vendor's/products that won't release info about their product are just shady imo.
  12. a higher vg content juice will give you more vapor yes. a higher pg content juice will give you more throat hit (th) and flavor. most vaper's like a mix of the 2 to get the best of both worlds, that being said everyone likes a different mix amount. i personally like a 75/25 pg/vg ratio juice. but that's just me, and i feel i get more than enough vapor even with a higher pg ratio. the other thing to consider with your mystic, (i'm assuming you have a battery, atomizer, and a cartridge) the higher ohm rating on the atomizer or cartomizer the cooler your vaper will be. so, a 3.0ohm atty on a 3.2-3.7volt battery is going to produce a pretty cool vaper. whereas, a 2.0ohm atty on a 3.2-3.7volt battery is going to produce a much warmer vapor. most people tend to like a warm vapor. with your mystic, i don't know that they offer different resistance atty's or carto's (whichever they use). that's why all of us are trying to stress to you that, even though the mystic may be getting the job done, it's not really a "quality" device, or company. there are MANY, MANY other devices and vendors out there that can give you more options for the type of vape that you want, with better quality equipment.
  13. i just got a leo-510 adaptor, so i'm gonna pick up a innokin 510t atomizer and some tanks and give this whole tank/atty thing a shot!
  14. i've been debating getting one of those sd keyrings too! lol but i just purchased a spare leo batt, a leo-510 adaptor, a few leo carto's, a few leo lr carto's, some bling end caps for a few 808 batts, bunch of juice, and a cheap little 808 starter kit for review. so the fiance might put an end to my vaping supplies this month! lol
  15. yup, and its a nice unit if I may add
  16. yes it can be used while charging (like a passthru) and yes there are tank options akin to the ego c.not on that site though. There are also atty/cart options but ive never been a fan of those, the lr cartos are really where its at with the leo
  17. the older boge leos can't b shut off, the new boges (and more specifically the innokin leos) have a 3 click lockout feature so the button won't misfire in ur pocket or w/e, the innokin models also have batt life indicators on the buttons, green is good batt life, orange is fair, and red is low/needs to be charged soon.
  18. passthrus are great but you have to remember you can't take them anywhere that does not have a usb port. how bout this http://www.ecigarsenal.com/Boge_Leo_Economy_Pack_p/10061.htm this batt can be used as a passthru, can be taken off the cord when ur on the go, has a lockout feature, 800mah for a long battery life, a 4ml carto so you don't have to top off often, and is super cheap for the "kit". Everything you need (other than juice) for under 20 bucks. I use these for my daily vape and its great for v/t/f also you can get 1.5ohm dc cartos for it as well if you like warm vapor.
  19. look in the suppliers forum here and go to the nexcig post for their 44 dollar pcc kit, if you like the slim type ecigs a gen 2 808 is a great step up from the mystic. or you can look into a cheap ego or leo kit, both good products with high mah batteries
  20. So far i see the joyetech ego-c, the innokin 510-t, the innokin lea, and the innokin leo pro. First thing i've noticed is they all seem to only have a roughly 1ml tank, correct? For those of you that own them, how do you like them? In theory they should be great as they pretty much eliminate the need for dripping. How are these atty's working out for people? Personally i'm a carto type person because, well just because i never really could get the hang of dripping. Pbusardo seems to be just kind of on the fence about all these, with the 510-t seeming to be the least favorite (not enough th or battery life) which could be expected based on a slim 510 battery. The leo has now switched it's battery's from their proprietary battery threading (which was monstrous) to the much smaller (although obviously much more compatible) 510 threading. The ego-c and the leo pro seem to get the better reviews from pbusardo at this point. So, how are they working for anyone that owns one. I'm pretty satisfied with my standard innokin and boge leo batts and cartos, and all my 808's at this point but i am curious to learn more about these new tank systems (new meaning they're not the carto/tank systems that have been around for awhile now). and speaking of that, how do they match up against the carto/tank systems? obviously the "tanks" are MUCH smaller and need to be refilled more often which is a huge minus imho.
  21. i think the prices are fair honestly. it's out of my price range but if i had the money i would absolutely get one. the problem is jeffb is right, most people aren't going to want to pay that.
  22. try your local mall, there may be a kiosk, the kiosk i used to work at sold it for 10bucks per 10ml, which was obviously overpriced, however keep in mind that your'e avoiding a shipping charge now, and any retail outlet is going to have an "overhead". right now my local kiosk is running a sale for $6 10ml which imo is a very fair price for local juice.
  23. so far they seem to be getting mixed reviews. Some of them are still going strong but there have been more than a few battery failures already. it has a few drawbacks, one being that 900 mah is not a whole lot to support 4+v of vaping, it will run down the batt fairly quickly. The second is that it is NOT regulated so even though you can start it at 3.7 or 4.2 or whatever as the batt drains so does the voltage, and quite a bit from some comments I've seen on another forum. what's the pricing like?
