  1. ive been dying to get one of those just in case of extreme emergency! How's the vape quality? I heard its surprisingly good. And not a problem at all, u may want to try one of the v4l batts though, theyre the highest quality unregulated 808 around, they come off the charger at about 4.2v but never drop below 3.7v unlike most other gen1 808s which can fall as low as 3.2-3.4v. Thats where the inconcistency of 808s were was in the cheaper gen1 batts. I actually prefer my v4l batts over my volt (same as bloog). And the longer cutoff timer is great because I love taking long drags.
  2. the second gen bats have a 5-7second cutoff timer whether auto or manual regardless of company as far as I'm aware. the gen 1 batts are a different story. V4l sells batts that range for cutoffs, most of their manuals are 10second cutoffs, their autos go anywhere from 12-20seconds. One of the biggest reasons I love v4l. word of caution though, gen 1 batts should NOT b charged on gen 2 chargers. Gen2 batts however can b charged on gen1 chargers. Also horizontal coil cartos should not b used on gen1 (v4l) batts, horizontal coil cartos should pretty much only b used on gen 2 batts, i.e. If you do get v4l batts I wouldn't recommend running bloog cartos on them as if I remember correctly those are horizontal coil cartos.
  3. i don't know what alot of that said but welcome to the forum!
  4. i'd rather have a snickers
  5. if your'e looking for a good "cig style" ecig i'd recommend a good kr808 supplier if your'e looking for something with more battery life i'd recommend either the LEO or the kgo
  6. just want to update this a little bit, placed another order with these guys for a few more tank cartridges and a bottle of juice i wanted to try from them. well i had sent Thom (the owner) an email asking him if he had any spare button's for a LEO sitting around, one of mine had broken off (my fault) and the battery otherwise was good so i didn't want it do just be junk. he shot me an email back right away and said he get it taken care of for me. anyway got my order in today, all my stuff was there, plus he added in two DOA (dead on arrival) LEO batteries for me to strip and use for parts! well needless to say my old LEO is back in service and working like a charm. just wanted to give another shout out to Thom at whitestagvapor because honestly he's an AWESOME vendor and has really helped me out. it's because of awesome vendors like this that vaping is such an enjoyable hobby!
  7. i don't think it's a dumb question at all. i'm going to take a stab at it and guess that they're put their for the purpose that atty's were really meant to be used with cartridges. i'm assuming they help in the feeding process to get the liquid from the cartridges to the atty's coil. however since most cartridges are basically garbage people started dripping liquid directly on to the atomizer.
  8. I no longer have ne, only atty I have currently is a tank atty for my leo and I'll continue to use that for the tanks since its working well I'd like to get a standard leo atty again first experience with them sucked (like deadpools) but I've heard great things about them so I'd like to revisit that. also a new 901 atty for my 808s as again I hear good things and then a lr 510, and a joye 306. So I've got some atty shopping to do on payday next friday
  9. interesting, thanks for the tips dayvape. I'll have to pick up some different atty's and do some experimenting.
  10. so from what I understand the process of dewicking/debridging is to simply remove all the extra crap in an atty other than the coil itself? Basically eliminating anything that may leave you with leftover juice that may "burn" ruining the taste of the atty?
  11. that's a bummer I know everything I want but I am broke as a joke right now so can't get ne of it lol
  12. what's better, to dewick, to debridge, or does it only make sense to do both?
  13. sweet! are you using a drip shield with it?
  14. you might want to look in to picking up some low resistance boge 510 cartomizers for it for the time being till you get the leaking situation figured out. they're very simple to use with little to no leaking, you could just set the tanks aside and revisit them at another time.
  15. 20ml's a week should cost you far less than smoking. if you go to http://thevaporroom.net/ they have 30ml flavor of the week for 10 bucks. new customers get a 15ml for free, and every order gets a 3ml free. your first order could be as little as 14 bucks shipped with close to 50mls. or go to madvapes.com they have low juice prices as well, not exactly gourmet stuff but not horrible.
  16. fixed that for ya http://www.smokeanywhereforpennys.com/sweetheart-special-xl/
  17. 1.) mah only comes in to account because lr attys/cartos draw more power from a battery than sr stuff does. Using lr stuff on a battery below 450mah is asking that battery to do something it was not intended to do. 450mah is the general cutoff. Using lr stuff on a batt below 450mah will reduce the amount of time that battery lasts between charges and will lower the overall life expectancy of the battery. 2.)yes they were correct. Your 1000mah ego will handle lr stuff just fine. 3.)your cartos are not hurting your battery, the only way you would know is if your battery died way prematurely.
  18. really? may have to just get one of the one's available online then, or try wally world. i know nhaler.com carries a pretty decent one.
  19. hardware costs in the beginning are always a little difficult to justify, but you've got some really good hardware, and some good cartos, as long as you've got good juice you're set. next month when all you have to order is juice and some extra carto's you'll start to notice the savings. the first month is always an investment.

  21. what you can do so your'e not spending a ton of money on different juices is order some small 3ml trial sizes of juice, enough to try it out for a full day or so without spending a whole bunch. most good juice vendors will offer trial sizes.
  22. the lower the resistance of a carto/atty the more power it draws from the battery. a lower resistance carto/atty will give you a warmer, thicker vapor so if you like the vape your'e getting from it stick with it. personally i prefer lr carto's as opposed to sr (standard resistance) ones on a lower voltage battery. you'll get a good thick, warm vapor from the lr carto's but yes since they draw more power they will run through more juice than a sr carto. kind of a double edged sword but worth it in my opinion.
  23. the low ohm carto's will use more juice than a standard resistance carto faster. just get a good initial fill, and then top off regularly, if i'm vaping alot i usually have to top off with 3 or 4 drops every half hour or so.
