  1. If new vaping products (pv's and atty's/carto's) stopped coming out would you be satisfied with what's currently available? What i'm asking is if no new products came out and everything stayed just as it was, would you be ok with it? Are we doomed to chase the "perfect vape"? I for one would be 100% content. I absolutely love carto's, i'm starting to love dripping, i even liked atty/tanks. Haven't tried carto/tanks yet but i'm excited to. That pretty much covers the delivery systems, what about batteries.....I don't have a lot of experience in the world of batteries. I've stuck mainly to the proprietary battery of the Boge/Innokin LEO and the kr808. I love both. I'm ok with having a small battery that needs charging every few hours, because well, i know that it serves it's purpose. Same with the LEO, i couldn't ask for much more than an 800 or 1,000mah battery like the LEO. The fact that there needs to be a 1300mah or 2000mah battery seems a little absurd to me..... Vaping has completely demolished the desire to smoke for me, which is what this was all about originally right? Was just a crutch to get off of cigarettes. Why do we "need" something more than that? Why is it that as people, we always have the desire to make things bigger, faster, stronger etc.... I dunno, for me, since about a month in or so i realized that if vaping stayed just as it was i would be 100% satisfied. Sure i love trying new things, but what's the point really? With an endless amount of juice combinations, why does the actual hardware need to get any better? There's already a plethora of choices for batteries and delivery systems, why more? Ok, there's my drunk post for the night. endrant/
  2. pbusardo gives great reviews and the reason is he's a "fiddle free" vaper. he doesn't want to have to mess with the products he gets. he wants to pull them out of the box and be able to vape, no problems, no issues, no modifying, no fiddling. ya can't blame the guy their. that's why i've never bothered with ce2's. i don't want to have to pull apart a clearo and put it back together to make it work.
  3. lol, it may still be a thing of the past! i'm enjoying it, but not enough that it will replace carto's. it'll be useful for testing new juice's, and you know while i'm at home i could see wanting to take a few hits off of the atty instead of a carto. i just don't think i can constantly do this, it's too annoying. however, if it can find an hour or two of time into my routine every day that'll be saying a lot since i didn't even think it could do that.
  4. you will, and my post wasn't meant to sound like it has to be tobacco flavors you end up liking. Could very well b a sweet or fruity flavor. The old "taste is subjective" at it again lol. just stick with it till you find what you like, sounds like ur definately covering the flavor bases. Remember, 3ml samples are ur friend!
  5. how long have you been smoke free? remember that your taste's basically constantly develop as you recover from the damage smoking did. for me my process has been about 1month cheap nasty tobacco flavored juice only about 3months of random fruity flavors (that i thought i'd like) about 1month vanilla or menthol juices only and now about 2 months on nothing but tobacco and bakery blends it took me awhile to get back in to tobacco, when i first started vaping i wanted so bad to find a juice that tasted like a cigarette. once i realized i wouldn't find one i moved on thinking i'd like some fruit flavors.......ick, not a fruit juice fan at all. the vanilla was a flavor i finally latched on to, it was a cheap 100% pg juice, but it had a very bold, nutty flavor to it which i discovered i liked. i would supplement with some menthol just to break up the monotony. then when i finally let myself understand that the way tobacco tastes before it's burned is actually pretty damn good i've really developed a taste for a good bold tobacco flavor. which is why i like it so much. the bakery blends was just a matter of finding the right ones, i KNEW i would like a cinnabun type flavor it was just a matter of finding the right recipe, and i found it in TVR's cinnamon danish swirl. so that's how it worked for me, i didn't think i'd ever want a tobacco flavor again, until i let up on the fact that good tobacco flavor doesn't mean cigarette flavor lol
  6. Well, seems i'm getting a fairly consistent 7-8 hits now between refills. Drip on 2 drops and it's good to go for another 8 hits. This vapor is THICK. Flavor is outstanding, it's like i'm tasting 555 for the first time........and it's GOOD Throat hit is good, no different really than a LR carto All in all, i'm enjoying dripping a lot. We'll see first off how long the atty lasts, and how much of a pita i consider it to have to always have a bottle of juice next to me in order to add more. I've been a little spoiled as i've been using 4ml carto's for the LEO for months now, so topping off was basically a thing of the past. I only needed to do it about once every 4 or 5 hours. Not ever once every 4 or 5 minutes lol. It's comparable to a good lr carto for me right now, i won't say better but comparable as far as the vape experience goes.
  7. lol, should have read the description first. nvm.....
  8. Dayvape, could you spell out the use of a drip shield for me? I'm browsing the one's at empiremods, looks like they only sell 901 or eGo shields, i have neither lol. Is a drip shield threaded or does it slide over the atty or what? I'm curious if the 901 will work with my 510 atty, or if it's threaded.
  9. right, i knew about the menthol, good to know about the rest though. kind of what i was hoping/thinking. thanks for the help as always jeff
  10. hey i've got a question for some dripping vet's. how do i go about changing flavors? do i just run the current flavor till i get a dry hit then fill with a different flavor or do i need to actually boil it?
  11. CDS is my favorite bakery juice i have ever tried. it's flat out phenomenal. This and 555 are the only juices i've ever tried that could actually be an all day vape for me. RY4 is great but i don't know what it'd be like with a double shot of flavor. Vanilla Cupcake is good, but i haven't spent a whole lot of time with it yet as i'm trying to let it steep. Hoping the flavor will come in better cuz right now it's definately not an all day vape. Not bad but not an all day.
  12. my fave juices are from TVR 555 Vanilla Cupcake RY4 Cinnamon Danish Swirl I LOVE all of them. I don't like any fruity, candy, or alcoholic beverage flavors. Tobacco and bakery flavors are pretty much where it's at for me.
  13. yeah that could be it, i might just drip 2 drops and 4 hits from then drip another 2 drops whether it's tasting weaker or not. like i said i'll just have to figure out my own rhythm. i've tried dripping before so it's not exactly a new thing, but i was just kind of winging it before. now i've done a lot more reading on it and i feel like i'm armed with enough info to at least make me half way knowledgeable with an atty on my pv
  14. Ok, so today I received my first lr 510 atty from litecig. Not a genuine Joye atty, just a lr 510 atty. It was rated at 1.5ohms, and on my voltometer measured in between 1.6-1.8ohms, so close enough for me. Now, I don't have a 510 device so I used an adapter on my LEO which usually runs at roughly 3.5v under load. First thing I did was de-wick it. I haven't de-bridged it yet because that looked a little more complicated and I didn't want to risk breaking a brand new atty. I felt confident I could de-wick it and it went smoothly. So, my initial fill was 6 drops of TVR 555 juice, 75/25 pg/vg. The first hit or two were.....meh By about the third hit the warmth of the vapor and flavor were downright amazing. I'm impressed! After maybe 10 or 12 hits I got the dreaded dry hit. ****** nasty! So I added two drops, got maybe 4 good hits and bam another dry hit. What's strange is I'm getting no warning, one hit I'm getting killer vapor and flavor, next hit-dry hit. Guess I'll have to figure out a rhythm. I've put it away for now but will use it plenty more tonight, so far I'm impressed with the "vape", however, its also being as much of a pita that I thought it would be. So we'll see how it all turns out. Will update more later.
  15. on a low voltage device (3.7v or less) there IS a big difference. More vapor, warmer vapor, and slightly more throat hit.
  16. without a voltometer the only way to tell the difference is in the vape compared to a standard resistance carto. The lr carto should produce a much warmer, thicker cloud of vapor also th should be increased slightly. he was right by the way, a slim batt is not meant to handle that type of power drain, and using lr cartos will drastically drain the amount of time you get between charges as well as the overall lifespan of the batt. you're asking that battery to do something it was not intended to do. all that being said I use lr cartos on my 808's and the vape is 10x better than a sr carto. But I will not recommend it because as I said using lr attys/cartos on a battery less than 450mah is not good for the batterys life span and could have bad results.
  17. Good luck buddy, you can do it! Just remember it's a process, if you have a stinky occasionally it's not the end of the world. Just stick with the vaping and you'll enjoy it more and more!
  18. You do not have to clean anything on first use no. Some atty's come from the factory with a layer of propolyne glycol on them. It's just used as a priming fluid and is completely vapable. If you want you could blow some of it off from the battery connection end, to help avoid flooding your atty upon first use. Welcome to the site, and if you have any other questions please post away!
  19. Glad you like it, don't know that i've ever heard a bad review about them. and welcome to the forum!
  20. that advertising about how many puffs you get is complete bs. just like a 1ml prefilled carto (which is what most disposables use) is NOT the equivalent of a pack. i'm surprised you got a day and a half.
  21. congrats buddy! hope it goes better this time around you may want to look in to some emdcc's for your kits, those ego-t's have a rash of wicking/leaking problems. or look in to some ego-c hardware-atty cones/atty heads etc...
  22. how long did you expect a DISPOSABLE ecig to last? assuming it's using a 1ml carto, which i'm sure it is; i would have gone through at least 2 of them in one day.....
