Just Ordered My New Eversmoke Kit. Going To Try To Quit Analogs
blucavvy replied to afishy1's topic in New Vapers Forum
is the end of the cartomizer that you have a soft rubber part? if it is, take a paper clip and pry it off of the end of the casing through that hole. (be careful not to shove that paperclip way down the hole!) -
lol, no problemo, i shot him a pm
-
still gotta pm Thom, i've been out and about today, working on securing a passport at the moment for my honeymoon! do it as soon as i get back
-
haha! dizamm, they changed their prices, yesterday it was 20.95! and i still don't think they include a cap with theirs, so whitestagvapor definately wins that one!
-
they're $20 at Sterling Vapor - without the cap they're $25 at White Stage Vapor - with the cap only whitestagvapor currently has the new Pro carto's in stock, however they do not have the kits yet, should have them within the next few days, sterling vapor does have the kits. as for a white stag coupon code i'll ask Thom about it and get back to ya!
-
yes sir, y not just buy a single battery from sterling vapor? you said you didn't want to get the cap anyway and they're only 20 bucks there. they're listed on the site now in the battery section. the kit's a rip off especially since you won't like the juice and you already have the charger. that's what i'm going to do is just buy the battery individually.

looks like your favorite rubber tip is back! http://www.whitestagvapor.com/leo-pro-510-dual-coil-1-5-ohm-cartomizer/

as long as you love it that's ALL that really matters

i agree with Bob 100%. carto's should be where every new vaper starts. fiddle/hassle free. dripping and tanks (atty/tanks and carto/tanks) should be held off until the user is at least comfortable with carto's first, that way they have a fail safe. mommag i'd seriously recommend just picking up some boge lr 510 carto's. it's under ten bucks for a 5 pack and that can literally keep even a heavy vaper going for a few weeks. re-visit the carto's at a later time.

as far as i'm aware. i know that mjradk was having issues with his/hers but i think that was mainly due to a faulty battery that came with the kit. i believe they worked it out with the vendor. i've seen nothing but good reviews for those apollo v tubes, (other than mjradk). they may be a clone however. i'm honestly not sure as i don't own one, all i can say is i've seen A LOT of very positive reviews about them and only one negative review. and the negative review like i said i believe was due largely in part to a faulty battery/inherint problems with the LT, clone or not.

http://www.whitestagvapor.com/innokin-leo-pro-se-battery-carbon/ thom put up his LEO Pro batts today as well and came in on price better than expected. his are $4 more than the sterling vapor ones, HOWEVER, they do come with the matching cap. so that's who i'll be ordering from

I'm not even concerned with that junk lol. On their coming soon page it looks like there's some new Pro cartos coming out. I'll stick with the boge lr in the meantime, can't wait to get this though I'm going to want the cap for it as well lol

sterling vapor emailed me back and they listed the individual battery on their website, 20.95 no cap included at this time
-
sterling vapor put these up for sale on their site today, only the kits though as far as i could tell, could not find the atty cap or battery by itself. i emailed them about it to find out if they were going to list just the batteries and if so what the cost would be. i will post up what i get as a response. i spoke with Thom over at whitestagvapor again and he said the pricing on the kit at $59.99 is the MAP pricing (minimum asking price) so there's not much any vendor can do on pricing for the kit. the price of the battery (so far) still seems to be up in the air. Thom pretty much said the LEO Pro battery WOULD be about $30 +/- any sale he has. he regularly runs monthly discounts which could bring the cost of the battery down to maybe $25 or maybe even lower. again, i don't think this is that bad of an asking price, IF it comes with the atty cover. if the atty cover is a separate cost then it's too much.

quality, and whether or not laptop/cell phone batteries do the same thing is a moot point. They're not in a media feeding frenzy right now, ecigs are and will continue to b for awhile. Vendors for pv's need to have a better answer for the Fed's (and frankly us as consumers) than something whiny like "well cell phones do it too!" that's simply not a good enough answer. breal I'm srry, but most companies simply aren't "good" enough to pull a product that's only dangerous 1 out of a million times. That's where regulation comes in, when that one time happens they hold that company responsible. Cuz when it comes down to it, I could easily say "well wasn't me, I don't care" but how would I feel if it was me? If it was you and your home or health wouldn't you be screaming for regulation? edit because I reread that and it makes me somehow sound like I want some crazy amount o government control over ecigs, which just isn't true. I'm just saying that manufacturers NEED to correct this problem NOW, luckily so far most the ones that have exploded haven't caused serious injury (other than the poor man in Florida) but what happens when another person gets injured? The media will have a field day with it, and the big tobacco/big pharma comps will have more than enough ammo to start a much bigger fear campaign towards ecigs than they already are. And for something in its infancy it could mean the final nail in the coffin. btw nows a good time to mention if any of you want to help us in the fight to keep vaping around one of the best (and easiest) things you can do is become a member of CASAA, go to casaa.org it takes less than 2 mins to register. Spend some time their reading they have pages set up for becoming a local leader and if you can please donate! Every little bit helps this non profit organization that is doing the most to fight for our rights!
