that's the idea if I need to I'll pick up a shorty drip tip too lol. I don't chainvape much anymore, I've found that my analog cravings have mostly disappeared. I use 1.5ohm attys for dripping and those never get too hot. They used to though when I was chainvaping.

http://smokelessimage.com/accessories/x2-volt-battery.html don't know if you saw those yet but if you're on their newsletter they have a coupon code goin for st pattys day. Brings those batts down to a reasonable price, and they're 808 threaded of course so you can continue to use those horizontal coil cartos
-
could b a bad brand or batch. Both lr510 atty's I've picked up so far have been great. how long did you use the "defective" ones? Most vendors have at least DOA warranties.

welcome to the forum! settings are at the top right hand corner of the screen under your username pull down menu.

I don't need juice breal, but I may be interested in a swap. What ya wanna get rid of?
-
yeah definately buy blanks and fill em, not only so you know they're full but to save money, buying pre filled gets expensive! Lol

I just got 4 of them to try. I use my LEO's for 510 threaded stuff with an adapter. I like the standard LEO cartos and stuff, but the "sanitary caps" for them only fit over their atomizers, not carto's. Epic Fail! so I wanted to find a carto I could use that would fit under the cap. Standard 1ml cartos will fit, but because of the adapter they won't fit with a drip tip. Hopefully these will, they get good reviews. http://www.madvapes.com/Super-Shorty-17-Ohm-510-Chrome-Cartomizer_p_3519.html?lt_c=1&quickcart=1

what line of v4l batts? Their older ones are good but their newer stealth/diamond series batts are great! Weird that ur not getting much vapor production from the WOW's, I've always heard good things bout them. Maybe try a slightly lower ohm carto? I use 2ohm cartos on my v4l batts and get killer vapor. I think the wow's are more like 2.3-2.5 the volt's an awesome 808, my only gripe with them is the stupid 5 second cut off, that's what keeps me using v4l over all the gen2 808s.
-
welcome to the forum! Did you figure out the username thing yet? what kr808 are you using? And what are you thinking about upgrading to? I happen to know a thing or two about the 808s so if I can help in any way please don't hesitate to ask.

bob ya got any 1ml 510 carto's you wanna get rid of? specifically a lr one? i need one to check something, let me know what ya got and what ya want in return bud.

please don't buy a 510 "slim cig" style battery. you will not be satisfied. get a quality 808 slim cig. like the volt from smokelessimage or a v4l kit. either way waaaaay better quality than a 510 slim cig which is regulated (like the eGo) to 3.2-3.4v, which will only kick out any decent vapor at all with a lr carto, which should not be used on a slim cig. the 808's from a good vendor are of much higher quality.

the type b tanks are 2ml the type a tanks are 1.1ml or something

i don't know that bob was bashing the eGo, maybe "pathetic" wasn't the right word to use, i think he just more meant "anemic", which is true. the eGo's voltage is too low for what it is. 2 years ago when there was nothing else available i can understand how it was a go to device. but now? the market has changed, the kGo fires at close to 4v, the LEO Pro fires at close to 4v UNDER LOAD, the Riva SE is a regulated 3.7v. all those batteries can be had for either the same price of an eGo or a few dollars more. the eGo probably does provide a fine vape with a lr carto/atty, but the kGo, Pro, or Riva is just simply a better vape FOR MOST PEOPLE. again, not saying there's anything wrong with the eGo, a lot of people probably really like the vape and maybe even actually PREFER it. and that's great, not bashing that at all, but when even a tiny little 808 battery can kick out a higher voltage i just think that maybe Joye needs to start to re-think their batterie's performance.

i have some 808 batteries i can donate as well as a LEO clone i can donate. chargers not included. i have some menthol liquid i can donate, about 15ml, 100%pg and 16mg. this stuff is straight menthol, no tobacco flavor at all. not for me at all lol

both.

for sure, i gotta get me one. they look awesome and they're super functional for a $20ish batt. btw, http://www.ecigsejuice.com/leo-pro-1000mah-battery-510-threading/ the other day i looked at their price and they had dropped it from $24.95 to $22.95 and now they dropped it down to $21.95 lol but whitestag is only $24.95 with the cap so that's about right i guess, the cap is about $3 or $4. it's just funny that they keep changing their price almost daily

I have a really big love for music, and i don't stick with just one genre. I love everything from Heavy Metal to Country and everything in between! My favorite bands are (in order) Led Zeppelin (i've been listening to these guys since i was in the womb! i have the swan song angel tattoed on my back) Staind Modest Mouse A Perfect Circle And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead and lots of others lol lately i've been listening to a lot of "party" music though lol, here's the latest song i've been playing all the time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPW3gRgXTq0&feature=related so what are you all into?
-
awesome! have you ever tried the juice from TVR? it's my personal favorite for tobacco and bakery blend flavors
-
yeah, i like the 75/25 pg/vg blend from TVR, it's the perfect juice ratio for me.
-
yeah i was talking about the carto's. well, at least the batt's are good, i had a feeling they would be. pbusardo was very impressed with the batt's, on the scope they showed a pulse width modulation that fired at around 4v under load about 90% of the hit, so they're putting out some good power.
-
welcome to the forum! how are you liking the Elite? if you ever have any questions about your 808's please feel free to ask away and i'll do my best to answer them!
-
damn, what's up with the air holes on the/by the threads? how big are they? can you take a small drill bit and open them up a bit?
-
so it sounds like the battery itself is a good unit, just the LEO Pro carto's/atty that suck? well i knew that i wouldn't be wasting time on the LEO Pro tank system so that doesn't surprise me at all. the carto's not being any good kind of sucks though. oh well, i'll just stick to what i was going to do and buy one battery and cap like i wanted i just think it's an awesome looking pv, and with 1000mah it'll make a perfect "going out" pv. nice review btw.
