  1. http://www.discountvapers.com/vision-tox-variable-volt-kit/ pretty good price....
  2. who has the cheapest price on the mini lavatube kit these days? also, should i look at the older style lavatube or the newer stainless version with the eGo connector? not really sure that i'm going to bite the bullet on this, just thinking bout something new and i've yet to try vv. if i do get one it will be between the Innokin Itaste or a lavatube.
  3. New for me anyway . Just got these in today, so there's been no steeping time (other than shipping), so keep that in mind throughout the brief reviews. All testing of juices has been done on a 3.7v LEO, with a 1.5ohm lr 510 atomizer, de-wicked, de-bridged. Both juices are 18mg nic, and 75/25 pg/vg. Also worth mentioning that both these juices are very light and almost colorless, odd considering that most the TVR juices i've ordered so far have all been dark and pretty heavy with flavor sediment. Turkish Tobacco- This was one of the "flavors of the week", so i've got about 30ml's (that's alot for me lol). Initial impressions just based on smell was that it was reminiscent of a good pipe tobacco. First impressions based on a few hits- Good flavor but very soft. Kind of like it was only at 50% flavor. Flavor is what was expected, like a good flavored pipe tobacco, not really sweet, but definately not harsh. What can i say this is just a pretty straight forward, mellow tobacco flavor. No real undertones, just straight tobacco. No chance of it becoming a favorite of mine, but it seems like it will go well coffee in the morning and a beer or two in the evening (very important that an all day vape can do this for me). So, for now at least until it's had some more steep time, this juice is good, but definately not great. I won't be re-ordering it if that means anything. Flavor- 6/10 (hopefully shine through more with some steeping) Vapor- 7/10 (it was fine but nothing to write home about) Throat Hit- 6/10 (almost non existant, which is weird cuz i've been strictly vaping 12mg for a few months now and went back up as i really miss the th) Gingers RY4- Got 15ml's of this. Wish it had been a "flavor of the week" because i've tried a few other ry4's and never been dissapointed. I wasn't with this one either. Smell was good, though very masking of what flavor and taste would be like. Initial couple of hits were disapointing honestly. Strange flavor that wasn't really ry4 like at all. After filling the atty a few times though it really started to break through. (it's also worth mentioning here that this atty's pretty new. probly only had 1 or 2ml's of juice run through it). Now flavor is REALLY going with this juice, caramel undertones are definately shining through, but not too much. Tobacco flavor is like most ry4's, just better. Sweet but not too sweet. This could easily be an all day vape for me had i not gotten addicted to Boba's. However it will see plenty of use from me as the flavor is superb. Flavor- 9/10 (it's really that good) Vapor- 7/10 (same as the turkish) Throat Hit- 7/10 (little better than the turkish but not much. i'm hoping this has a little to do with a basically brand new atty :/)
  4. yeah, i keep meaning to try one of the tanks, just haven't got around to it. i've been really satisfied with my vaping experience since i started about a year ago. (my sig's not correct btw, keep meaning to fix it) so trying new things usually comes slow to me since i've grown in to a state of "if it ain't broke y fix it?" between dripping on my LEO and carto's on my 808's i just don't find much reason to try much new stuff. glad to hear vaping's working well for ya, and i hope you like the forum
  5. nice :-) I'm kind of an 808 fanatic. I use the stick batts however, as I seem to vape A LOT less than the average person so the recharging is really not an issue for me. I've been dying to try the ikenvape cartos just haven't been able to justify buying them yet. Glad to here they're well liked.
  6. welcome! What model 808 are you using? One of the smokelessimage x2's?
  7. lmao, i'm a tightwad for sure. no shame here. spending on e-cig related stuff has to be regulated very carefully in order not to piss off the wife too much.
  8. no i didn't buy a provari http://www.provape.com/Zipper-Bottle-p/zipperbottle.htm just wanted to throw out a quick "review". i ordered a couple of these when i stumbled along them. all i really want to say is how useful they are. normally i carry my pcc, a 15 or 30ml bottle of juice, and a single carry case for 1 fully assembled 808 ecig. having this with me is sooooo much more convenient. hangs right on my keys, gets me through a full day of work or school easy. some of you that vape a ton may need two. but really, just an awesomely convenient little juice bottle. that's it. thumbs up to provape for having nice little accessories like this.
  9. no biggie. now each one i try to put in is in a 1x1 setting and i can't figure out how to change it. this whole thing is confusing. lol that first one worked great, and i guess that's what counts
  10. this is a big reason i don't use mods. i hate to admit it because i'd love to believe that all ecigs are perfectly safe but that's just not true. i'll stick to my LEO and my 808's with safe cutoff timers that won't allow the unit to engage for more than 20 seconds or so before it shuts off.
  11. shippings free too. yeah their prices are awesome, couldn't be happier with my kit, been goin for a week now and it's awesome. wish they sold 65mm batts though.
  12. thanks for the teachings Chris! next question, y is it so small!? lol
  13. hey man, where ya been? why have you not responded to the PIF thread? did you get my package? i sent it out last monday so you should have gotten it by Wednesday or Thursday, and yet i still have not heard a word from you.
  14. you could clean the carto end with some rubbing alcohol using a q-tip or something, don't soak it, as there is still a hole in that post on the side, get any liquid in that hole and it will fry it. i agree with jeff, it sounds like the auto switch is going. however, there are a couple of holes on the threads at the base of the battery. take a safety pin and punch through those holes, i've had some that were clogged before with gunk and after i "punched" em out they were good as new. they're the air holes. doubtful, but it might work. it sounds just like it's the auto switch.
  15. jeffb with the answer! it's alright Kitsune i had no idea what it meant either......
  16. that was probably one of the most direct, and well explained explanations for direct dripping i've ever seen laid out. nice job twelveday. there's really nothing else to add accept how to de-bridge and de-wick an atty, but y don't we just leave that stuff alone till later
  17. i'll order one when i get my next batch of carto's gotta see what all the fuss is about. Madkat-super glad that corrected things for ya!
  18. you might be able to glue one on to the end of the kGo. otherwise the LEO has one on some of the older ones.
