  1. it's in one of the opening posts i made. they're called "bling" end caps lol they'll work on all gen2 808's and about half of the gen1 808's.
  2. you haven't tried the good one's then mine was the Boge LEO set up in it's original form just an atty with a cartridge. THANK GOD cartomizers were invented or ecigs never wouldve worked for me. an atty with an old school polyfill cartridge is just the worst!
  3. huh? no i meant dripping with an atty and drip shield not the clearo lol
  4. what you said in the last part is exactly where it's at. TO EACH HIS OWN. just because they say "this is the magic number" doesn't mean that everyone likes that number. some people like warm vapor, some like cool, some like hot. every single person likes diff voltages, or delivery devices, or juices or whatever. that's the nice thing about variable voltage i suppose, is that you can dial in what works best for you for each situation. i don't vape anywhere close to 10w and i'm perfectly content.
  5. it looks like they're a standard gen1 808. ( i could be wrong without actually having one in front of me but that's what they appear to be) in which case you could use cartomizers from litecigusa.net, v4l.com, v2.com, and a number of other vendors. just make sure they're vertical coil gen1 808 cartomizers. if you try to use gen2 horizontal coil carto's on a gen 1 battery the battery will supply too much voltage to the hor. coil and fry the carto fresh off the charger. those vendors i listes only sell gen1 808 stuff so anything you order from there will be fine, but if you choose to go with another vendor and want to know if your'e actually getting gen1 808 stuff feel free to pm me and i'd be happy to answer.
  6. In case my next vision clearo is a bust like the one i just threw in the trash i'd like to find something i can use exclusively for my new eGo. I don't want it to be kept at simply a "dripping device". I'd really, really, like to find a clearo that i can use that won't be a ton of hassle but is still pretty decent. (i know i'm asking alot) who has experience with the eGo mega dual coil carto's? specifically the clear ones. EMDCC's as it were, i believe these were all the rage before the Vision came in to existence. If i remember correctly there were at least a few people around here that liked them. I'm also open to other suggestions, like i said i just want something to help make my new eGo at least somewhat exclusive. Really though i'm pretty much only looking for a good clearo. I've already got too many carto devices lol. thanks in advance guys. (and gals )
  7. there's a chat room at the top of the page, when you see a red number there that means there's someone in there, be there....
  8. threw it out. vapor production was spotty at best, some hits were pretty darn good, some were just really not good lol flavor was there, which was nice draw was just too damn stiff. it was awful trying to hit that thing. oh well, hopefully the one i get tomorrow or thursday will be better. there are always duds i suppose
  9. k well, rinsed the tank out with very hot water last night, blew it out a few dozen times and let it dry overnight. re-filled about 2 hours ago and just threaded it on to the new eGo. no leaking, pretty good vapor production (not spectacular but pretty good), and flavor, lots and lots o flavor. this is a low resistance one so the vapor is warm, almost an uncomfortable warm strangely enough since i usually vape 1.5ohm atty's and that vapor doesn't seem near this warm. the draw is still incredibly stiff and i don't like that AT ALL. hopefully it will loosen up as time goes on, but right now i'm just happy it's at a point that i can vape it.
  10. Well, i ordered an eGo finally to try out the dreaded Vision Clearo (whole nother mess....). I ordered a pretty basic clone eGo (non Joye http://www.vapingzon...s_/pid-150.html ) 900 mah, passthru etc... Got it in today, and first impression was simply how clean it looks. I ordered the "stainless" version. It has a "stainless" end cap as well where the charge port is. Button is nice and clicky. And this thing is LIGHT! I couldn't get over how much lighter it was when compared to my LEO. Granted the LEO is probly in reality only a few grams heavier or something but it feels like a pound lol. A tad longer than my LEO and about the same diameter, maybe a slim amount smaller. Since i ordered the eGo PRIMARILY for the Vision Clearo and it is at the moment drying out from a rinse for a re-test tomorrow, i figured i'd vape something out of it just because i wanted to see how awful the missing .3 or.4v really was. (remember i'm the guy always giving eGo's **** for not being a true 3.7v device.) So, i threaded on my 510-510 adapter, a brand spankin new lr 1.5ohm bridgeless, wickless atty, and my trusty drip shield. Wow. Although it's not really any better than my LEO, it's certainly NOT worse. The vape is PERFECT. Awesome vapor production, great flavor, perfect amount of throat hit. Just honestly a perfect vape. Like i said, not any better than the same set-up on my trusty LEO, but not any worse either. So, since i PIF'd my backup LEO battery and i don't like only having one fat batt around (gotta have back-ups right?) i do not regret finally ordering an eGo. This battery is phenomenal. Hopefully i'll be able to update this with a wonderful review of how great the Vision Clearo is tomorrow when it's dry. Until then......... VAPORTALK (and all eGo users i've offended everywhere) I LOVE THE eGo.........it is a great device and i will happily recommend it to NOOBS everywhere.
  11. i'll give that a shot tomorrow. tonight i'm going to do some dripping on the new eGo and see how it compares to the LEO. can't even look at that tank tonight lol
  12. well, vapor production has improved ALOT, however, every single hit is a dry hit. i'm getting zero flavor. just dry atty taste. i am really really disappointed with this thing. i have one of the other ones on the way (the older version with shorter wicks) hopefully that will be better. who knows, maybe it is just a bad one, but this is just plain awful. i can't even vape this thing anymore.
  13. haha, probly. damn all my eGo badmouthing!
  14. i did, there must be a pretty serious break-in period with these, the first hour or so of vaping and at least .50 a mil was just horrible to be quite honest. vapor production was bad, flavor was bad, but now it seems to be turning around. even if just a little bit. guess i'll keep vapin it and see what happens lol
  15. just checked the connection and it is definately leaking through the battery side connection. when i filled i made sure just to drip down the side and avoid center tube like usual. what's up? y is it leaking.
  16. ok, so i'm finally trying one of these, and i've only taken a few hits so far. i need help lol the draw is INCREDIBLY STIFF, i'm getting pretty low vapor production, it almost seems to be acting as if it's flooding. what do i do? i tried backing it off a few turns but so far that hasn't helped.
  17. kgo's are unregulated, so they're actually more like 4.2v off the charger and progressively work their way down in voltage throughout the charge to about 3.7v when they need recharged not sure about riva's but i believe they're a regulated 3.7v eGo's are TYPICALLY 3.2-3.4v regulated. could be 3.2, 3.3 or 3.4v depending on manf. go-go, igo, etc... i'm unsure of. but they're all very close to 3.7v.
  18. nashvillevapor.com has good prices on the ego vision clearomizer. you should be able to find them for $5 a piece, anything more is overpriced. discountvapers.com has them for that price too. i don't know about the others cuz i've tended to stay away from clearo's after finding out most of them suck until the vision came out.
  19. you mean the voltage of a standard eGo? if that's the question it's in between 3.2-3.4v. regulated.
  20. what are you thinking of buying? if you can give us a specific set of qualities your'e looking for we can point you in the right direction.
