  1. yes you will need a different charger. eGo and kGo have the same threading but are different types of batteries, one is regulated (ego) one is unregulated (kgo), so different chargers. a standard joye eGo charger is what you need for the twist. lr dual coil carto's are one of the best setups you can run (for v/t/f and convenience) on a kGo. so really, there's other stuff you can try, but "knock your socks off", unlikely. lol. but i still recommending trying alot. just so that you can really find your sweet spot. good luck in your spending and vaping, and welcome to the forum!
  2. they do sell rebuildable ones just so you know
  3. there's an 808 threaded eGo here: http://www.smoktek.com/808-eGo-battery-650-900mAh--manual_p_162.html there's the echo which also used 808 threading here: http://www.smoktek.com/Echo-1300mAh-auto-battery_p_77.html and the go-go is also 808 threaded: http://www.cigeasy.com/category_s/32.htm and the elite is kind of a hybrid, in between a stick style batt and a fat batt like the eGo, found here: http://www.cigeasy.com/category_s/2.htm and then of course like you mentioned the vGo is also 808 threaded. so there's plenty of options out there for "fat batt" 808 threaded devices.
  4. don't have that channel at home, is this streaming online anywhere?
  5. also remember mah comes in to play. you can not run lr delivery systems on a battery with less than 400mah or so.
  6. yup, some people love the vision clearo some hate it. i'm undecided at the moment. i've had one that was a dud, and one that was good but has a super stiff draw. not sure how i really feel about them yet. i would also recommend to pick up a 5 pack of boge lr carto's (510 threaded, 1ml capacity) and some ego mega dual coil carto's that'll give you a good idea of what type of carto or clearo you prefer. you could also look in to some 510 lr atty's at some point if you want to give dripping a shot. stick with your eGo batt for awhile, they're a good battery.
  7. so far A LOT better with this new one. the draw is still stiff, but i get the feeling this is exactly how these are supposed to be. flavor is good, vapor is good, no "spottiness" like the last one. everything firing the way it should be. the draw is not unbearable stiff with this, just more so than i'm used to. as i said, so far, this second one is much much better. i'm guessing that the first one i had was just a dud basically. so, as of right now, my curiosity is peaked again. i'll pick a few more up (depending on how long this one lasts) but if i get another one that fails out of the next 3 or 4 or so that i buy, that'll be the end of these for me. i'm ok with getting a dud every once in awhile. it happens. but at $5 a pop, i'm not willing to get a dud say 25% of the time. if it's one out of every 10 or 20 or whatever fine. but, that first crappy one really turned me off. so this one that i've got now has really got to shine for me to pick up more. lol
  8. wow, i just tried my second vision clearo, and i gotta say, (granted it's only been 2 hits! lol) this thing rocks. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, let the rest of the vape out of this thing be this good.
  9. that's what i would do if i were to get one, i HATE atty/tank systems with a passion so i would have to have the adapters.
  10. sorry to hear your'e let down by it bud, did you get the 510 thread adapter so you can use standard carto's on it?
  11. Thought i should start a thread for these guys. I've had a few orders with them now and have been nothing but impressed. I wish all ecig vendors were this good. They have a pretty wide variety of stuff available, prices are great, shipping is cheap, customer service is A+, and with every order i've placed so far i've gotten an "extra". First order was a sampler of some 3ml cherry tobacco, and next order was a nice ming drip tip in aluminum. Pretty cool extras if ya ask me Just thought that they should be given a good review. They run all kinds of sales as well in the suppliers forum. Give em a shot!
  12. do you have a link for those triple coils?
  13. well i got my clear EMDCC today and initial impression was that it looks like a lot of the LEO carto's. BIG. lol i haven't used it a whole lot yet so this is by no means a comprehensive review i'm just going to highlight some things. Vapor- Awesome. On a regular old 3.3v eGo this thing is kicking out CLOUDS of vapor. i believe this is 1.6ohm?.... Flavor- So far, so good. Much like a regular carto i suppose. These are just a regular old cartomizer with a clear tube instead of a metal one so it still has a bunch of polyfill in it which will obviously mute flavor like every other carto. But i'm vaping Boba's in it and the flavor is shining through no problem for now. TH- Like every other dual coil i've ever tried the vapor is cool (even though this is a 1.6ohm resistance carto it's just not the same as a single coil at 1.6ohms, which means no warm vapor, and little to no throat hit.) which isn't the end of the world, but i do prefer warm vapor and the th that comes with it. Luckily i'm back up to 18mg again or the th would be non existent. Overall, i'll give these an 8/10. It's the same carto as the Boge LEO lr dc carto's, with a clear tube. I loved these with LEO threading and i love them with eGo threading. They look a little funny due to size, but since the eGo is an at home only device i could care less what it looks like as long as it works. Now, on to the Vision i just got in the mail. Hopefully it doesn't suck like the last one i got.
  14. going to fill the one i just got in the mail tonight and see how it measures up to the last. hopefully alot better lol
  15. well driving home today from st. Louis, been here for 5 days. can't wait to go home to all the vape mail I have sitting at home!
  16. welcome to the forum!
  17. welcome to the forum and congrats buddy!
  18. check out http://www.ecigarsenal.com/ Boge kind of screwed up with the release of the LEO, they hyped it up and then for months only had the atty/cartridge system available, it took them like half a year to develop a carto for it, but once they did they had already lost most their customer base. i'm telling you though the carto's are worth it. the regular ones are ok, but the dual coils are awesome. warning though, they are juice monsters. all of the LEO carto's/clearo take about 4-5ml's. so make sure it's a juice you already know you like. vapingzone.com also sells most of the LEO stuff.
  19. do you still have your LEO? i agree about the atomizers on it, they were garbage. the cartomizers are a WHOLE nother story though, if you haven't tried one of the dual coil carto's for the LEO i highly recommend spending the $4 to try one. they're one of the best carto's i've ever tried.
  20. ordered some clear EMDCC's. I'll post up a review next week when I get them
  21. fully understandable. if a gen2 is what your'e looking for look in to the elitevaporworks.com setup, they have free shipping, and super low prices. imo they're the best setup for gen2 stuff. you could build your own kit for under $30 with free shipping.
  22. yeah v4l has those same types of endcaps on their diamond and titan series batteries, but not individually for sale, you have to buy the whole battery. afaik SI is the only company that sells the endcaps individually.
  23. ahh, yeah i don't know that such a thing exists then. at least not commercially. if you know anyone that works cnc you could get the measurements to them for the opening and they might be able to throw some type of clear poly or something on a lathe for ya. but otherwise, it's just pretty much those bling end caps for 808's. i have a few and they grow on ya real quick if it matters....
