  1. ******* spammer. seriously, out of all the threads you could post that stuff in you pick one based on the most heartbreaking thing you've ever witnessed thread? on a side note, the most heartbreaking thing i've ever witnessed would be my wife crying at her fathers grave. he was 49 when he died. he joined the army when he was 30, went career and would have retired when he was 50. he was 49 1/2 when he dropped dead of a heart attack. he left 5 children behind.
  2. no minimum order. my first order from TVR was a flavor of the week which is 30ml for $10, my free 15ml, and the free 3ml that every order gets. so for $14 (shipping included) i got 48ml's of juice. you can't beat that anywhere.
  3. rixter if your'e looking for a good spot for LEO stuff check out http://www.ecigarsenal.com/Default.asp awesome prices and fast shipping. avidvapor sells the best LEO-510 adapter i could find btw, it has a groove cut in the adapter with an o-ring press fit in so that you can still use the "sanitary cap" the LEO comes with.
  4. i recommend http://thevaporroom.net/ for the juice. they have a great selection, their juice is AMAZING, and first time customers get 15ml for free. if you order off the flavors of the week a 30ml bottle is $10 which is crazy cheap. And every order (new or old) gets a 3ml for free. Follow the instructions on the deals/sales area to add the free liquids to your order. i go through about 10ml's a week. but i'm a light vaper, when i was a smoker i smoked a pack a day. i would figure at least 10-15ml's for you, though it may be more. viperron gave you good advice for a starter kit, get an eGo. don't get one of the new twists yet, just stick with a standard eGo. get a kit that comes with at least 2 eGo batteries (preferably 900mah or more), a charger, and either some vision clearo's like viperron said or some boge 2.0ohm cartomizers. (510 thread) http://www.nashvillevapor.com/site/products-page/cartomizersatomizers/ this is a well known vendor on the site. fast shipping and dirt cheap prices. he's got the vision clearo's and boge cartomizers (i recommend the 2.0ohm) and the standard 2 battery ego kit. for all the carto's, clearo's, batteries, charger and your first order of juice from TVR you would have a killer starter kit for under a $100. and the next order you have to place will be much, much cheaper. just juice and carto's. anymore questions feel free to ask
  5. even if you went to 24mg you wouldn't be taking in more nicotine than you were at a pack a day. how's your throat hit (th) with the 18mg? if it's acceptable for you then there's no reason to use a higher nic content. if you feel it's lacking then the 24mg or somewhere in between may just help you get through those "craving a cig" days a lot easier. the biggest role nic plays in e juice is th. if you don't feel your'e getting enough order a slightly higher nic content
  6. Thought this would be a good thread to give us an idea of what we all use and what new stuff we all try. Last night i bought a 30ml of TVR Ginger's RY4, and for my free 3ml i picked Strawberry Cheesecake. Both at 18mg and 75/25 vg/pg. Love TVR juice, still the best i've ever tried, and they're prices (which are amazing) and the fact that it's 100% sourced and manufactured in America is awesome.
  7. i tried a few awhile back and didn't care for them for the exact same reason. too tight of a draw. i'll stick with atty's and drip shield, or a lr carto.
  8. whatever works for you is what really matters.
  9. Anyone know where i can get one? The company that manfs. them says they're out of stock on their website and i was wondering if they were the only place that sold them or what?
  10. agreed, in fact its what im vaping right now
  11. atty's+drip shield= no hassle and great flavor/vapor
  12. i really, really want one of your box mods.....
  13. interesting. so it's kind of like their version of a drip shield or what? did you never try a drip shield? i love mine and have never cared for the 306 atty's so i doubt this is anything i'll ever try but at least there's more and more stuff being made in America for ecigs
  14. i would suggest some lr boge 510 cartomizers, a small cone for your eGo, a drip tip or two, and maybe a lr 510 atomizer but you may want to wait on that last one till ya get the basics down. also i don't know how much you used to smoke but it's always good to have a backup battery or two. eGo's are cheap so it wouldn't hurt to pick up a spare, you've already got the charger
  15. you have a really good starter kit setup going. and no, vanilla vapes in the morning with my coffee is why i love waking up. good luck with everything and don't be afraid to ask questions. welcome btw
  16. just cuz couple of volt's (thank you mike!) on the left, then my v4l manual xl "cigar" colored vapor titan with a 1.7ohm 901 atty and an empire mods drip shield/mini drip tip, then a blue v4l auto king diamond (the same one that's in my avatar with the blue tank), and then a black v4l auto king diamond, and then the 3.5ml dct. i made that little stand/holder, still gotta stain it, but i gave all the edges a "live edge" with my dremel.
  17. i'm not familiar with the c atty at all, but if i remember reading correctly there were some issues with dripping on to an ego c atty even if you remove the spike. i would definately suggest getting a lr 510 atty. however, i'm not an ego guy and i'm sure others here will have more to say about it.
  18. everyone cleans an atty differently. some people use PGA (pure grain alcohol). i always just used scalding hot water, not boiling just really hot water from the sink. i'd rinse them underneath the water for a minute or so, blow it out then rinse again. then set out to dry overnight. then go to use again the following day. 5 or 6 drops to prime the atty, puff it a few times, add 2 drops and repeat with the 2 drops method. mcquinn is right, almost all atty's have "break in" periods where you may not get the best vape. i wouldn't clean them yet if i were you. some of the primer fluid that comes in atty's from the factory just doesn't taste all that great.
  19. that's perfect, the more you use it the more you'll notice when the flavor is starting to diminish and know that it's time to fill again, that way you can eliminate dry hits all together. like i said everybody has their own methods, so just because i get 2 hits per drop doesn't mean you will. you may get 3, you may get 1. just try a few different things and find out what works for you
  20. no 1.5ohms is fine, just wanted to know so i could give you the best advice. that's a lr atomizer and should only be used in between 3.2v or 4.2v, any higher and you'll either burn your mouth or your atty's coil will pop. a 1.5ohm atty on a 3.7v device (regulated or unregulated) is going to produce a solid, warm vape. so you can use either your standard ego or your twist, just don't go past 4v or so on your twist. 4 drips is fine, but you should be taking more than 1 hit in between fills is all i was saying. i usually get like 2 decent hits per drop if that helps. when i get a brand new atty i usually fill with like 5 drops, hit it 5 or 6 times and add another 2 drops or so. take another 4 or 5 hits and refill with 2 or 3 drops, and so on and so forth. that's how it works for me anyways. you may want to look in to a drip shield at some point. right now just get used to dripping though. it's all a learning curve, what works for one person may not work for the next.
  21. you should get several hits between fills. Gurgling means its flooded. What resistance are they?
  22. thanks. he does some nice work.
