  1. 1.) I'm gonna let someone else answer the clearomizer question. i'm assuming your'e talking about the vision clearo's and i just haven't had enough experience with them to be giving advice. 2.) toss the cartridges, put a drip tip on your atomizer and just directly drip the juice on to your atomizer about 4 drops to start, then after vapor and flavor start to weaken about 2 drops, repeat with the 2 drop process. 3.) yes 4.) yes, more nic less flavor 5.) how much did you smoke per day? if a pack a day, i would probably recommend 24mg but honestly it's completely on how you react to the nic in e-juice. your body absorbs it much differently than it does from a traditional analogue. 20 or 18mg may be better suited. the cravings may stay for awhile, vaping doesn't completely erase them, you still have to fight through them, vaping just helps......a lot. 6.) yes you can vape TOO much if your nic content is too high. symptoms of having too much nic would be light headed, dizzy etc... if you start feeling that way put your ecig down for awhile. the soar throat is something all of us experience when we first start, it does go away. and yes drink plenty of water, vaping will give you "dehydrated" symptoms, but more water never hurt anyone. have fun with flavors, you'll find that most tobacco flavors taste nothing like a cigarette. just find what you like and try lots of samples. welcome to the forum, and if you have any other questions feel free to ask
  2. good luck buddy, you know where to post with questions
  3. welcome to the forum, and congrats on setting a date. feel free to ask any questions you may have
  4. I'm trying to understand this whole re-buildable atty thing and i just keep getting more confused as i read. There's tons of them out there and a lot of them look nothing like other ones. Some sites say that they have tanks attached, some don't. Some are $15, some are $150. Can you just kind of help to spell out how they work and how hard are they to make work? I'm not a newbie but i am just getting in to mods as it is so maybe i should wait to jump in to this whole thing. In another thread you had linked to the z-atty-p (or something like that) the house of zen's atty specific to the Provari. i'd love to get a model specific one like that but it's not out yet. I really only want one that's made in America though i am open to buying oversea's as long as it's not from China. So, pretty please?
  5. yes you can switch flavors. to do this i just vape until i can tell a dry hit is coming on (this takes a learning curve) and then switch. you just can't put menthol in it if you ever plan on using a different flavor in there. menthol never goes away. well one would de-wick an atty because the wicks sometimes have a tendency to melt or just go bad after a lot of heat. getting rid of them helps keep your flavors clean. when you de-bridge one you open up the draw a little bit and help increase vapor/flavor production. at least that's what i've always heard. some people don't de-bridge and de-wick until they feel the performance of the atty is decreasing. i've just always de-bridged/de-wicked them right off the get go or bought dripping atty's that come without both.
  6. i assume you mean atty. no it does not "need" to be debridged. i personally prefer debridged atty's but not everyone does.
  7. looks cool, i like the concept of this alot
  8. just get a bottle of something you know you like and then get the strawberry cheesecake in a free 3ml, that's what i did
  9. they also sell colored rubber caps, i think smokelessimage and elitevaporworks carry them
  10. bummer to hear man. provari mini takes 18350 batts
  11. every bottle is made to order according to their site. everytime i've ordered juice from them it's good when i first get it, but give it a week or so and it's even better. so, in my personal opinion i think they're telling the truth. you won't be disappointed buddy, it's definately my favorite juice. i've just never found better.
  12. btw, remember how i told you i had never been able to find lr horizontal 808 carto's. well apparently they're here now lol. so something to look in to for all you people out there that want a warmer vape with your volts/bloogs/etc.... http://www..com/low-resistance-cartomizers.html
  13. Well thanks to Jeffb and jdog i am now the proud owner of two american made pv's- a silver bullet and a mini provari. Mod batteries and chargers are not manufactured here in the states at all, so for that at least i'm out of luck. I can live with that. I own 2 empiremods drip shields and a few of their drip tips all manufactured here in the states. I use pretty much exclusively TVR juice which is sourced and mixed here in the states. And i'm going to get either the AVA atty or a hh357. atty soon. The AVA is 100% sourced and manufactured here in the states but comes with a hefty price tag-$40. The hh357. is assembled in the states but the parts are most likely 100% manufactured overseas. So other than the batteries everything's now made in America about my vaping. i'm a happy guy. now i just need to go order an AVA
  14. wish i woulda known i'd of gladly sent a few with your package yesterday i have way too many lol
  15. that's actually what drippers did before the drip tip was invented. it was known as "tailpiping". you'll probably get some hot juice in your mouth (no homo). but yeah you can do it. you might get lucky and they might send you a free drip tip, it's happened several times for me
  16. next time someone asks you where to get the best juice refer them there, if they buy ANYTHING from TVR, and give them your email and say you referred them TVR will give you an email code for 15ml's for free. So you can still get a lot of free juice. and their flavor of the week is still a crazy good deal, + 3ml's with every order. that first time customer deal is sweet, but their prices are just all around good.
  17. Just got in a 30ml of TVR's RY4 and a 3ml of the Strawberry Cheesecake. Both juices are 18mg, 75/25 vg/pg. I prefer a vg heavy liquid to maximize vapor production. Both juices are being tested in a 901 1.7ohm atty on a vapor titan xl king diamond manual (v4l) 808. Strawberry Cheesecake- i typically don't like any dessert/candy/overly sweet juices because i'm not a sweet's fan as it is. I've usually always just vaped different tobacco and vanilla flavors. Ry4,555,vanilla etc... However, i have a bit of a strawberry obsession. Strawberry cheesecake is probably the only dessert i truly love. So i had to at least try this one. And since TVR is awesome and you get a free 3ml with every order i figured y not. Initial impressions after 5-6 hits is WOW. This is what strawberry cheesecake tastes like to a t. I don't know who comes up with their formulas but they get an A+ on this one. Flavor is outstanding. Not something i'd want to vape all day, but maybe after dinner (lol), absolutely love the flavor of this liquid. I'll be ordering more for sure. Vapor-9 (at least) TVR always get's great vapor ratings from me. It's one of the reasons i love these guys. Flavor-10 like i said this is just outstanding. not too sweet, which is good but still very, very good. Throat Hit-8 it's fine, not crazy but that's good. just a nice subtle punch. Gingers RY4- RY4 is one of those flavors that i've just simply never had a bad one. I've had DeKang ry4 that's 100% pg, i've had TVR's and at least one other brand that i can't remember. It's just a staple for me. And TVR doesn't let down with their version of it. Smelling right from the bottle and you get a strong nutty scent. First vape with it was awesome, flavor has a ton of undertones, nutty, caramel, tobacco, it's just good all around. This is easily an all day vape for me. Vapor-9 again, lot's of vg so this one kicks out clouds Flavor-8.5 it's not the best juice i've ever had, but it is good. They did a nice job. Throat Hit-9 this one packs a little more punch, probably just because it's got a tobacco flavor to it. either way it's good.
  18. you can also try removing the tank every half hour or so, plug the hole at the base with a finger and take a few cold hits. that and pulling the drip tip off and sliding the tank up and over the air holes, this allows the holes to bring some air in cuz when they're constantly soaked in the liquid they get "clogged". works for me anyway, you still have to top the carto's off every once in awhile but those few little tricks have always helped me.
  19. 36 seems a little extreme. i started out at 24mg, and it never bothered me, maybe a "strong" hit every once in awhile like in the morning that first vape of the day, but other than that no issues. that being said, i couldn't see needing more than that. 36 just sounds like too much.
  20. http://www.vapor4life.com/shop-our-products/starter-kits/original-vapor-king/original-vapor-king-value-starter-kit.html the best "slim" ecig imho
  21. you can get a good 808 kit for way less than $50. it would not be 510 compatible as Mike pointed out but there are always adapters, and if you don't wanna use an adapter a lot of the stuff that's available for 510 is now available for the 808. (vision clearo's, etc...) http://elitevaporworks.com/ss/starter-kits-1.html there's one for $30. 2 batt's, charger, case, and a 5pack of carto's. if you have any other questions on the 808's just give me a shout i'd be happy to help ya out. in fact, as long as it's alright with Mike, i've got some extra 808 batts, a charger and a pcc that he sent me and i've since gotten a lot more stuff lol, so if you want em pm me your address. you'd just have to get carto's. they're the Volt batteries from SmokelessImage which are gen2 808's. very good batt's.
