yeah you don't have to clean an atty to try a new flavor, just do what rixter said. anything menthol flavored will NOT go away though so unless you dedicate an atty purely to menthol don't use any in your atty. most other flavors are gone in a few hits. i've gone through at least 4 different flavors on my current one with no cleaning.

Took my new toy on a "camping" getaway yesterday. LOTS of questions from friends who are smokers. lol, good night though. For the record the Provari likes campfires, guns, and beer as companions.
-
I rinse them with scalding hot water from the sink several times then let dry over night. I'm not sure that that actually helps but it makes me feel better. Atty's are disposable. If you get a few weeks out of one you've gotten your money's worth.

i simply don't vape where your'e not supposed to smoke. i see it as a courtesy to other people. right or wrong that's just my opinion. don't beat yourself up about having smokes now again, not everyone can just quit right off the bat.

you've got the right products Tameiki. those are all good units and the one's that are already de-bridged/wicked just make everything easier. -
Attomizers, Cartomizers, Lr, Sr, Single Coil, Dual Coil... Huh?
blucavvy replied to Tam's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Brian really gave you some solid answers. All that i'll add is that now you can buy what are called "dripping atty's". These are atomizers that have had the bridge and wicks already removed for you. Without a bridge or wick you get a cleaner flavor and a lighter draw. http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/brdg5108.htm that's a really good dripping atty at a good resistance. -

the menu honestly doesn't bother me at all. i guess i could see how it might bother some but it's really not a hassle. "shrugs"

24 hours later. Started vaping on it the minute i pulled it out of the package yesterday and stuck the spare battery on the charger. The battery i put in at 4pm yesterday lasted me until about 2pm today. Real close to a full 24 hours out of one 18350 (700mah), yes i am a light vaper. Not bad

bought an aw imr 18650 and an 18350 from http://www.empiremods.com/Default.asp -
i have nothing to add to this except welcome to the community. Kitsune gave you perfect advice. Try lots of stuff. Try some boge standard and low resistance 510 cartomizers. Try some joye 510 lr and sr atty's. Well anyway, do what Kitsune said
-
the ego twist is variable voltage (vv). so you can adjust what voltage your battery puts out based on the resistance of your cartomizer/atty
-
well, it takes a very large learning curve. that being said those that haven't gotten so frustrated that they throw them away have given them pretty incredible reviews. it's something i'm hoping to try soon. not the DID specifically, but a rebuildable atty.
-
Yes, i know that this device has gotten 1,000 reviews already. I know that it has been covered to death. But i wanted to put my own .02 in. I just got mine in the mail today, (thanks jdog!). All that i can say is that i'm in LOVE. This is what vaping is all about. I get it now, i get vv vaping. I heard today that some people don't like the "menu" or how the button system is set up. Does it take some clicks to adjust voltage or read atty/carto resistance? Yes. Is it a big deal? No. Not at all. This thing is super easy to work, and very user friendly. The build quality is awesome. Just holding it and you know your'e holding a very well built device. It just feels......solid. And the vape is the same way. The display is super simple to read, the amount of things this thing can do is honestly pretty incredible. Knowing exactly what resistance your delivery system is is pretty sweet. I dunno, i'm just honestly in LOVE. Right now i'm rocking a 2.8ohm 510 atty at about 5.2v and the vape is just amazing. CLOUDS of vapor. It's going to be very difficult to put this thing down. So, if your'e looking at a vv device, and you want the best, save your money. Buy a quality unit. Buy a Provari. Could not be happier right now.

a rebuildable atomizer. i believe it has a tank attached.
-
no you do not need the cart. like mcquinn said just take the filler out of the cart, and drip 4 or 5 drops of liquid directly on to the atomizer (it's ok i promise), take a few hits. (you'll want a drip tip to slip in the atomizer when you do this). after you've taken a few hits add 2 drops. take a few more hit, add another 2 drops and keep repeating that 2 or 3 drop process.

where ya been buddy? need to stop by more often

wow I understand sooo much more about the genesis style attys now after watching that pbusardo review. Thanks uma! -
some people have bad reactions to vg, others to pg
-
I started out vaping 100% pg. Then I tried some liquid with vg. Now I vape 75/25 vg/pg because it just produces so much more vapor. I don't mind 50/50 either though.
