the 510 atomizer that comes with the Spade is killer! I just ordered 2 more along with a bunch of juice. Chris, I noticed that this atomizer has a 4 digit number engraved on the bottom of the atomizer. Never seen this before but I remember seeing you mention something about the 'good' 510 atomizers having this. Shane

True, my very first 510 atomizer that I got with my first kit is still going strong and is still the best atomizer I have. When it dies I may have to bury it in the back yard with a lavish headstone. BTW it is my VT Exotic Tobacco atomizer, it so rocks.

if it works, vape it until it doesn't work anymore. New, old, doesn't matter. If it works and works well, use it. I know it's a non-answer but maybe a better way to approach your problem.

I agree. For my part I am willing to spend a few extra $ to know that what I buy is top quality and is going to work well. I think we have all dealt with the question of if what we ordered is going to be worth the cost. In the end, the security of knowing that we will be getting good merchandise is worth it. I prefer to buy from those that I know will ship a quality product, and if there is a problem, they will make good. If I get crap, even at a crazy low price, I will never buy again. Selling a product in bulk for a deep discount that you don't stand behind can only serve to hurt your business in the long run. The cost of one bad review is quite steep, much more than a 5-pack of Chinese atomizers. Your customers are your life blood, few deep cuts and you are dead. Shane

I've been using the pyramid tea bag for a few days now in my 510 and it does seem to work quite well. I am doing it the way that GrimmGreen showed on one of his videos. Basically roll it up, fold in half, cut to length, then make a few cuts vertically to sort of fray the business end. I think this is makes a better filler material than the polyfill. I remember Chris and a few others noting that the 510 seems to like to have a cart on it to get good flavor. If you just drip with not cart filler, there is a bit of a metallic taste from the atomizer. I tend to mainly drip but do use the cart where I put one drop on the cart, two on the atomizer (though I start with a good moist cart). That way you get good vapor, good flavor, and if you don't keep the cart too full, you avoid getting juice in your mouth which basically sucks. What I like about this filler material is that you don't get the burnt polyfill taste and it seems to wick much better and more consistently. Now if the atomizer/cart is getting dry, I just get a bit of the metallic atomizer taste and then I just re-drip using the 1:2. It's really easy to do and just plain works. Plus the tea isn't half bad. Shane

Yea the Spade is really nice looking, I actually ordered one. I am a 510 user so that just seemed to make sense for me. Though I also ordered the VP Passthrough as well to use at home. That way I can sit home with the PT and use the larger 801 atomizer. On the go, the Spade with the 510 atty is just smaller and more streamlined. Plus the black is so much more stealthy and slick looking. The VP2 looks great but I didn't really want something that big or shiny. Shane

So is the spade basically a black VP1 threaded for the 510 atomizer? Any other differences? I really like the look of this better than the shiny stainless. Shane
