That's pretty typical for the FDA. What do they actually do? I don't see any benefit in their proceedings as of late. "Hey, a couple hundred people have died using chantix, let's keep it on the market but let's go after lipton!"
-
To prevent this from happening in the future just monitor how much you're putting in the cartomizer. The first couple of hits should be slower and not as powerful drags as a regular drag as a test to see if you have the right amount in there. If you go into it with a large/powerful drag and it's over filled, you'll get a bunch of juice in your mouth. The same thing happens with dripping, sometimes you can put too much or too little. I've thought I dripped a couple drops but didn't and take a massive rip then get the worse taste ever.

Vapor Talk Fantasy Football League

I've never done a FF league but I'll give it a shot. I signed up. -
I've never tried the SLB LR510's. They(SLB) make awesome LR901's so I assume they're at least ok. I'm guessing the SLB LR510 atomizers are cheaper so it depends on how much difference in price there is. The standard SLB510 atomizer is pretty comparable to the Joye510 atomizer although not as nice.

Blu isn't good alternative. They do a good job advertising and making people aware that there is an alternative that isn't made by a pharmaceutical company; but, they work terribly. You're much better starting with a 510 or eGo like Popsicle said! With any eCig you can inhale the vapor into your mouth then into your lungs. Some people like pulling the vapor directly into the lungs, while others into the mouth. It's all personal preference but with those two units you'll get the hit you want. You'll also save a lot of money not buying expensive replacement parts and liquid/carts.

I saw a group of people on another forum that all went in on a giant order of these and they had the same problem Jay. Most of the threads were damaged and misshaped.

I went out on the river with the family on Sunday and had a nice resting day at home on Monday.

I've ordered some 2.5ohm KR808 atomizers from them, they're a good supplier.
-
Some suppliers etch LR into the threads, some mark the atomizer casing, and lastly, some don't mark them LR at all. The one thing that holds true is that they will be labeled Low Resistance on their site and the model number will stay the same. Joye510 & Joye510 Low Resistance. My site for example, I sell LR510, LR901, and LR306, but only the 510 has LR etched into the band. You can mark them with tape, write on them, scrape some paint off, etc.

I just noticed ECF changed their forum skin/template around. What do you guys/gals think? It seems reading posts within a topic is easier on the eyes but I could be wrong.

That's a great idea, I always send out 3-4 business cards.

"F.D.A. Backtracks and Returns Drug to Market http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/04/health/policy/04fda.html?ref=us Seems like Josh Sharfstein is concerned about the health and expressed concerns of consumers of certain drug products. E-cigarette consumers and public health advocates should remind the FDA (and the news media) of FDA's reversal on its ban of midodrine sales while refusing to end its import ban on e-cigarettes."

Does Vaping Cause Sleeping Issues.
NeRo9k replied to michealprater's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
Ya, I can't get to sleep earlier than like 2 o'clock. I should go to bed at 11 but I know I'm wasting precious time if I do. Those extra hours are valuable. You sleep 1/3 of your life. -
DSE, Joye, KR, are the manufactures. The number, 808, 510, is the model. It will refer to the battery and atomizer size and threads. DSE808 and KR808 don't use the same cart or threads. The DSE808 uses the DSE801 atomizer. "I have a 510 starter kit" - Means it has the 510 battery and atomizer. "I use a 510 atomizer on my Joye eGo" - The eGo meaning the battery and 510 as the atomizer. Just like phone companies, Nokia makes the 8900 and Blackberry makes the 8900. Neither use the same parts but have the same model number. That was just an example for you DSE808 vs KR8080 statement. Most of the time, things match up though. DSE and Joye both make a 510 and they're parts are interchangeable. It may seem overwhelming at first, it was for all of us as well. Just stick with it and over time you'll learn. It's just not something you get right way. When I started working at a cellphone store I was confused what phones only worked for T-Mobile, At&t and which were unlocked; but, in hindsight it seems like a very simple concept. This thread may provide you with some other useful information about this topic. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/6767-510-901-8-something-something-wah/

Nicotine break down is per ML. If you vape 24MG and go through two ML per day, you're intake of Nicotine was 48MG(2ML x 24MG). There is 1MG of nicotine in a cigarette so if you smoked a pack a day you would be getting 20MG of nicotine essentially. There are a lot of other variables as to why you would vape more besides need for nicotine...Convenience, indoor vaping, taste, etc. "A typical tobacco cigarette contains about 1mg of nicotine per cigarette. There are about 10-12 puffs per cigarette. 1mg/10 = 0.1mg of nicotine per puff 1mg/12 = 0.083mg of nicotine per puff The majority of the nicotine consumed from tobacco cigarette smoke and electronic cigarette smoking is exhaled by the user. It is estimated that only a very small proportion, of the above calculated nicotine enters the blood stream. According to scientific studies, 40–60 mg (0.5-1.0 mg/kg) can be a lethal dosage for adult humans. *Please note that calculation will differ if you use a different model of cigarette. "

Great choice, you're going to love it!

I agree with Jeff, I really don't take breaks yet I seem to only burn through about 3ML a day. I just grab it whenever.

That was awesome!

Who Has Been Vaping The Longest Here?
NeRo9k replied to owutaqt's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I'm about the same day as Nana. Early October 2009 -
You just may need to add more liquid when you get that taste; otherwise, the atomizer could be going out.
-
Myself and a couple other vendors carry the Janty/Joye stick adapters. Both the 510 and 901. Usually LR atomizers are cheaper than regular atomizers because they can burn out faster.
