  1. I liked the show - They both made some super valid points!
  2. Please don't go with those! They make white DSE901's that resemble a real cigarette and are a far more superior product! Check here for picture
  3. I think the vp2 is the best unit on the market at the moment; but, I also use my Janty stick a ton and love both of them. I'll list both where applicable. VP2 is somewhat on the larger size, but not much larger than an over sized pen. Janty stick is small, about the size of a lifesavers package and comes with a carrying case that can clip onto a belt or pocket. Vp2 can use multiple atty types; the Janty stick can't. Both units are 3.7v. Both are pretty sturdy, the Stick is plastic if that concerns you - I've dropped mine plenty of times and not had to worry about it. The VP2 is a beast (steel)! The vp2 lasts me like 8-10 hours depending on vaping use. I will charge one battery when I leave for work and when I come home I will change batteries, it's not necessary but it's my routine. The Janty stick probably runs on 3-5 hours, again depending on vaping use; but, like you covered in another question, the built in usb passthrough is amazing! So, the battery life isn't an issue as there is usually a computer around or a usb to dc converter for your car. This is the only unit that has this feature. Most other models have a passthrough but it's not built in. Vaping while at home, work, or in the car with my Janty stick is a breeze. Imagine a long road trip, just plug in your car lighter and vape the whole way happy! I believe the Stick is around $80 and the VP2 is around $140. I'm not sure what you consider to be an eyesore - Granted the Stick looks a little nicer, more compact, nice colors, etc..I don't mind the look of the vp2 what so ever (pictures posted below). No luck here..They both use protected batteries from china. You can order the batteries online, but you can't pick which battery you want to use. The VP2 is built solid, the only moving parts are the battery cover which pops off and in slides the battery, and the atty or adapter which another style of atty can be placed. The Stick has pretty much the same deal, the battery is in an enclosed case which you need to turn with fingernail or screwdriver (it's not tight, finger works fine), and a slot which the atty slides down and screws in.
  4. My first E-Cig was the DSE901 from awesomevaopor.com; I'm not associated with Arno, he supplies a great product and has excellent service. It's a little longer than a regular cigarette but it produces good vapor and the overall experience is rather enjoyable. They are rather cheap and you can purchase a starter kit for around $50. When buying the smaller units such as the DSE801, DSE901, M401, and Joye 510 the battery will need recharging after a couple hours depending on vaping use. Most of these units come with two batteries so you can have one charging, while you use the other. Depending on the Juice flavor and product you decide, the feel ('throat hit') may be altered. I'm currently using an 901 atomizer with Grape Soda from Vaportalk.com and the throat hit is pretty amazing. Good luck in your quest - It may seem like it's a big and different jump, but once you make the switch you'll be glad you did!
  5. Ya, but our summers are hot. 65 in Minnesota is awesome weather. Our winters get blazing cold, so hearing someone said 80 was a bit chilly was funny : )
  6. If you want a longer battery life, go for the vp2. I leave for work, gone about 9 hours total during the day and my battery lasts me until I get home plus some. I usually just put the spare battery that's been charging during the day on. The units are basically the same, that's the major difference.
  7. The vp2 comes stock with the 801 atty, but there is an attachment for the 901.
  8. I receive the same talks from my friends and family, "well ya, but aren't you still getting nicotine" Sometimes I get sick of explaining; if they don't understand or want to know, then so be it. I know I'm safer because of vaping and that's all that really matters!
  9. 80 Degrees isn't very chilly where I'm from! : D
  10. I loved my 901, a little inconsistent but it was way better than my m401. I still use a 901 atty on my vp2.
  11. That sounds like a good idea, I'd be down.
  12. One of my employees just received a Joye510 and he said the taste was terrible. Now he is back to analogs while he waits for his 901 to arrive.
  13. I heard some people had good experiences with them.
  14. I just blow mine out, it seems to work pretty good.
  15. More stuff to distract me from work, the better!
  16. The iphone is a nice phone; but, I like buttons.
  17. Looks cool, I was thinking about doing something similar, but more so just for my surge protector on my desk.
  18. Glad to hear about your success so far; and, just wait, it only gets better!
  19. Looks really stylish compared to some of the larger bulky models that are out. I can't wait!
  20. Sorry to hear about your trouble - You can always try what vegasvapor suggested or buy another unit larger battery mod. The vp2 is extremely nice and you don't have to worry about the cutoff or battery life as it can last a day or two.
  21. I feel I'm getting the best flavor and taste on most of my juices from my vp2 and janty stick. Sometimes others can taste better on higher volts, sometimes worse. It's trial and error type of deal.
  22. That's awesome! Glad people are having success at work - I've just been keeping my on the down low at work, my employees know but my boss doesn't.
  23. Go Vikings! Man, they're crushing this year! I can't wait for them to win the super bowl and get Favre another ring.
  24. Welcome to Vaportalk!!! You're going to love it, I got a couple friends and employees to order them and after watching me and seeing how excited I was, they couldn't wait until their units arrived. Like everyone else, they've been smoke free since!
