I'm always glad when somebody is leaving smoking behind !!! For the first 2 weeks after I quit smoking I felt like I was in a cloud--very fuzzy around the edges. I also noticed my muscles felt like I had been working out. (trust me--that wasn't the cause). during the entire withdrawal phase, I didn't crave a cigarette, so that tells me--vaping really is the thing for me. You will have to let us know if the PG/VG makes a difference.

I don't have much to compare to, but the wordup drip tips are about the same size as the 510 carts.

It really does get much, much better !!! The canker sores can be from the liquid--if you get some in your mouth or on your lips--swish your mouth with what ever liquid is handy. I found drinking more water helped all the above--sore, coughing, dry throat etc. There are so many variable to experiment with--lower nic level and PG vs VG is the best place to start. And, keep a water bottle handy...... I am glad you two are really getting the hang of things. after a year I can tell you--there is always something new to learn (or buy) !!!

I finally made the jump a few weeks ago. have a couple twisted tips--love the way they look. are a bit narrow in the middle, but have found that a small breath through the tip takes care of that. I also have a couple from wordup--classic black, work great. I love them all !!!

I have found that I can rescue more than one flavor by mixing it with another or just adding flavoring..... I have yet to run across a flavor that can't be fixed--just sometimes takes a few tries.

There is no feeling like waiting on the mail !! especially when you know something really good is coming. It's like christmas

I have had a couple that seemed to need a bit more breaking in than others, Just wouldn't give much vapor--then after a few days worked great. then again I've had a couple that never seemed to work right. no good answers... sorry

Brian--have you tried the cotton candy mix??? not tried the Eythol at that high a concentration, interested to know what it tastes like.....

DIY does take some patience. I found it much easier to start with some of my premixed flavors and just add flavoring to them. http://www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php I use this calculator, very easy to use. much easier if have a syringe or other measuring device for ml's. measuring by drops is much less accurate. I would get some PG and VG-- I really love mixing !!!!

I started playing with DIY because I love lots of flavor and the flavors are never strong enough for me. the freedomsmokeusa specialty mixes are a bit stronger and very tasty. Initially it is very, very easy to add a little extra flavor to your existing flavors. Doesn't have to be fancy. Just add similar flavoring to the current flavor you are using. freedomsmokeusa carries flavourart flavoring--which is still my favorite. But I really like DIY flavorshack also. if you have some 5ml bottles--add whichever premixed liquid you want and just start by adding about 5-10 drops of flavoring--vape--add more flavor if needed. You don't have to mix from the ground up. Happy vaping

E-liquid can mean the final product or its components--kind of a generic term. Nicotine, like all chemicals can break down over time. The glycerin and flavoring will not breakdown as quickly. i.e. I have vanilla flavoring in my cupboard that is 4 years old and still tastes good (or at least hasn't killed anyone yet).

took me about a day to figure out how to make my 510 work (learning curve)--the second day using my 510 was the last day I had a cigarette. I hadn't even planned on quitting. I was just hoping to cut down on smoking and find a way to get nicotine when I was trapped in non smoking areas.

Congrats !!!! It's amazing how fast the body recovers some of its function. I don't miss the cough at all. No good one liners--however, my dad is the only one that gives me any lip about it (ex-smoker)-- I tell him I will think about it when he gives up his nightly (afternoon) wine....... Happy vaping !!
