Just my 2 cents: I actually think the wiltons glycerin works much better. Its thicker (more like VG)-ingredients just say glycerin. it is for baking, and it is sweeter. compared to the VG I have bought from suppliers-side by side it is the same. I found it at michaels (craft store) in the baking isle. I have also seen it at walmart. The pharmacy glycerin--just didn't taste at all right to me. was much easier working with the wiltons. the flavoring diluted the consistency to just right. again, just my 2 cents.

Removing The Wick And Bridge From Your Atomizer
kitsune replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in Modders Forum
I am loving bridge-less and drip tip. It really has made a difference for me with dripping, and I am usually pretty set in my ways. took me months to actually try drip tips. for removing the bridge, I had an atty that just wasn't working great, so figured no loss if I killed it. I'm sure dripping atty's will be next. If a mod works--manufacturers usually find a way to make the product. -
First Diy Not So Good - Need Advice!
kitsune replied to BreakingBad's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
You aren't alone on this breakingbad--Its why I do DIY. I have found certain flavors are just not strong enough for me--no matter how much flavor i use. I can actually taste food just fine, but the liquids always needs lots of flavoring for me. I tried many flavors before I found a few that I can taste better than the others. at least you know the cinnamon works for you. my flavorings end up at about 20-30% most of the time. -
Removing The Wick And Bridge From Your Atomizer
kitsune replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in Modders Forum
I have found that over all the liquid use is the same between dripping with or without the bridge. (so far anyway) -
I gave up on cleaning for the most part. I use a paper towel or kleenex twisted and pushed into atty to remove any excess liquid. I usually do this when the flavor is off or vapor production is down or just over all not working well. otherwise, I just let them be. but like mcquinn posted-- if it's not working well--there is nothing to lose by trying to clean them. draining over night certainly won't hurt them--just remember to reprime the atty with a few drops of liquid. you will find this issue is very individual--we all have our favorite way of doing things. Lots of trial and error to figure out what routine works best for you.

Propsed High-School Principal Speech
kitsune replied to FTJoe's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
Like you I don't necessarily agree with all points, but overall, it would generate a whole new generation of kids. knock on wood, my kids have turned out pretty well. but I look at many of their friends and just want to smack them. -
Removing The Wick And Bridge From Your Atomizer
kitsune replied to bobthesalesclerk's topic in Modders Forum
I have only tried this with an atty that was ready for retirement--I must admit it really did make a difference. I may keep 1-2 bridge-less atty's around for dripping. I have had less popping and no burned taste as the liquid runs out. (which is a problem I have been having on and off with dripping) -
Its not called hoarding---it's called backups......... I haven't bought anything in 22 days--is is a personal record for me. let me tell you--I'm going through withdrawal. after almost 15 months of supply collecting there is nothing I really "need". However, If I can get through 30 days (forever)--I plan to treat my self to something nice---maybe a joker or some such......

looking forward to some great recepies...... you have some great flavor combinations coming. I have heard good things about PA.

i am finding significantly less burned flavoring as the liquid burns off. I had previously removed the wick, so not sure what was burning. I swear the flavor is better and I am getting less leakage. so far, I have to say--this has made dripping much, much better. The vapor did seem a bit hotter initially, but now it seems normal. the throat hit and flavor seems much improved to me.

looks like your questions have been answered (at least the current ones). if you have more, ask away. if you look into the 510 stuff, also check out the ego--longer battery life. no matter what you use--very glad you have found e-cigs. your girl will be happy with you for not stinking......

LOL Roober !!! however, it really is very true--we love to help and want people to succeed with vaping. we had those before us to help us along !!!
-
very good point !!! time to clean the tips.....

Very nice !!!! I have heard good things about that flavor. I'm not a huge cinnamon fan except as background flavor, but it really, really sounds good. BTW--I was a huge cherry and apple jolly rancher stick person.

Congrats to both of you for earning your VT counter !!!! don't underestimate your wife........ however its easy enough to ball park how much you have spent and can see the counter for how much you have saved. takes a while to actually see a difference. with my hubby I explained that I was spending 200.00 a month on smoking, so try to keep my expenditures (the first 3 months don't count) less than what I would spend smoking. I have no doubt in my mind that if i hadn't found vaping, I would still be smoking. after a year he is resigned to the vaping expenditures. he just never realized how much I actually spent on cigarettes.

The PG should thin the VG enough. don't have to thin VG usually, it is thicker but works fine. another place to look at VG/PG mixes is freedomsmoke usa. You can pick your pg/vg ratio. If the VG works better for you, it really isn't hard to add more flavoring to make the vg stronger. you can use the pg you have and mix it with the vg. you may have to give the vg a week or so to be able to tell a difference. if you need mixing help, let us know. we will try to answer if we can.

I just did the mesh removal-- If I can do it--anybody can do it !!! I used an atty that just wasn't performing very well. Multimeter was reading 2.3, so should still be good. had already removed the fibers.....then removed the mesh...... The atty is actually working better than it ever has. The throat hit and flavor is amazing !!! using it with my ego. I'll see how this holds up over the next couple days Excellent help Bob !!!!

LOL !!! Now you have joined the wonderful world of vaping. I am so happy it is working (understatement) for you. It really and truly is just the beginning. I love my ego--amazing when working a 12-16 hour shift. I still use a combination of dripping and carts--depends on my mood at the time. Happy, happy vaping
