  1. I'm not going to be much help regarding prefilled cartomizers. hopefully somebody will have that information for you. You can use the standard carts or drip until you get the hang of filling the cartomizers. as far as ego vs 510--it really does boil down to battery life. I started with the 510 (not many choices when I started) and I loved it. the only down side was the battery life. I carried with me a charging case and several batteries, would only last me a couple 2-4 hours(when they were new). both the ego and the 510 are 3.7v devices and both use the 510 atomizers. it's the 510 atomizer/cartomizer that gives the better throat hit and vapor. ultimately you pick the one you think will work the best for you. make sure you order extra liquid and extra atomizers/cartomizers here's a pic of the egoXL, ego, and 510 next to a sharpie.
  2. LOL--I love Bubbles !!! I know what I am doing this weekend.....
  3. drip tips are about as easy as it comes. took me a while to try drip tips. the end is open--drips directly to the atty. used instead of carts. they really do work best for dripping--I didn't think removing and replacing the cart was too tough--until I got a drip tip.
  4. I'm not much help with the exposed atomizers, but from what I understand is that it is safe to drip. Just drip a couple drops directly onto the atomizer, replace the cartridge. can use an empty cart (no filler) or one of your regular carts. for me a couple drops lasts 4-5 draws. with dripping you do need to add liquid more frequently, but usually you get a better throat hit and better flavor. I used to use a combination of dripping and carts. I would add a couple drops to the atty and a couple to the cart. wouldn't have to refill as often. the down side is it can flood the atty until you get the hang of it. If it doesn't hit very well or the vapor production seems too low, you can just drain the atty over a papertowel and blow through the end that has the small hole. removes excess liquid. unfortunately I am not as familiar with this model. I use the 510 and/or the ego--different type of atty. but the basics should be the same.
  5. so long as you clean the filler once in awhile or change it--it can be used for a very long time. if the filler becomes too ragged it can be changed. not sure in chile what products you will have access to. fluval 2 plus aquarium filter works great for a replacement. better than than is the blue foam from strictly ejuice. I'm pretty sure they can ship to chile--I know they ship to the UK. Blue foam the filler currently in the carts can be used for a couple washings at least. the blue foam does wick the liquid a bit better, but the filler you have now will be ok for a bit. when I cleaned the filler, I also rinsed the carts out. it just plastic, so no danger, unless for some reason its melting. sometimes the atomizers can melt the edges of the carts.
  6. Unfortunately I am not very familiar with that model, one of the other member may be able to identify the atomizer and help with dripping. otherwise, adding a couple drops to the top of the filler in the cart would work well, just until the filler is wet. using a needle and syringe it is easy to fill the cart from the bottom--gets any extra air out of the cart, and is the best way for changing liquid. the filler can also be taken out rinsed, dried and replaced. and refill with fresh liquid. The carts can be used indefinitely. I hope that helped a little.

    Indecisive

OK, I really like that !!!!!!!
  8. 510 or ego (better battery life) with cartomizers. or they can drip using drip tips. I have had much less flooding problems with dripping using the drip tips. 2-3 drops at a time, until vapor production drops off then add more liquid. I haven't used cartomizers yet, but I know many swear by them. There is no ideal solution to the flooding, attys, dripping etc. As you well know, after a bit of practice it gets pretty routine. I am thinking for them cartomizers might be the best option. you can help them refill them as needed. they hold much more liquid than standard carts. Not sure if that helped.
  9. VG and PG---thousands of uses !!! and exactly why were you looking at the ingredients?????
  10. I think she will like the 510. it's what I started with and loved it (until I got my ego). Good for you, getting her set up like that. I really hope she like it !!
  11. Many of us vape way more often than we smoked. but if I were to figure in how many drags per cigarette X 30 cigarettes--it would actually be about the same in the end. my e-cig is never far from my hand. you may want to look at a littler lower nicotine liquid. much easier to lower the nicotine level than the frequency of vaping (constantly). Happy vaping Yes, direct dripping is really amazing !!!
  12. sounds like a really good start. I've read really good things about the spiced apple. will love to hear what you think when you get them. I love playing with new flavors.
  13. Mixing is really amzing when you start to find the right combinations. I love finding better combinations. You can always try adding 1 drop of the tobacco flavoring to 10 mls of mix and see what happens. nothing ventured, nothing gained. I'm glad you are enjoying your flavors Merry mixing
  14. Welcome !!! the price tag also plays a part in what you decide. the joker from vaprlife really does look nice (hopefully I will own one soon), the ego is the same voltage as the 510, but has a much, much better battery life. can still use your 510 atomizers on the ego or the joker. vaprlife also has the VP-Passthrough which is 4.7 volts--better throat hit than the 510. I really love my VP-PT. so much is personal preference. Mind you, I really loved my 510. I'm sure you will get lots of input !!! Happy vaping
  15. If you are looking for a 510 passthrough--I really liked this one. http://www.azsmokefree.com/inc/sdetail/3385. the usb cable disconnects from the 510 battery and can be used as a standard 510. There are tons of supplier that have the 510 passthroughs. You can always look through the supplier list to see what else is out there. Yes you can use the USB/car adapter to use you passthrough in the car. I love using my passthrough in the car. can also use a USB/wall adapter so you don't have to be attached to the computer. sorry, no help on health cabin or cartos--but I am sure others will have tons of info.
  16. That very well could be--the lungs actually begin to recover fairly quick. I had stopped coughing within 2 days of beginning vaping (and not smoking). The body goes through some amazing changes. red bull and monster + sleep--I can see the connection.
  17. Sleeping is a wonderful thing. e-liquids don't have all the stimulant effects of cigarettes. not being able to fall asleep is so very annoying---enjoy your new found rest and sleep !!!!
  18. The best place to start at this point is the Ego. http://www.vaportalkstore.com/products/Joye-eGo.html good battery life. liquids are a bit tougher--very subjective. The vapor talk store has good flavors: dulcis, midnight and sweet dawn are great. I also like the flavors from wordup and freedomsmokeusa. you can check through the supplier list. link is at the top of the page.
  19. It was all in the fine print of the marriage contract !!! I have the same problem with sales--I always seem to be a day early.
  20. I hadn't thought of using loranns for glycerin--great idea. I do like Loranns for certain flavors--they are very concentrated. The only ones I avoid are the oils. I love the watermelon flavoring--its a bizzare thing, it is intensely fluorescent pink, after you mix it (a couple hours)-the color in the liquid dissipates and becomes a very pale amber color. The grape--is way too intensely colored for me--just a few drops in some liquid and the whole mix is ink colored. The Loranns is certainly more concentrated flavoring, pina colada, champagne, english toffee, butterscotch, watermelon, are the ones I use most from lorann. flavour art--tiramisu, apple pie, expresso, cookie, peppermint, hazelnut, vanilla, almond, forest fruit, cinnamon, chocolate. These are just the ones I use the most.
  21. I'm glad you haven't given up !!! have you tried any of the flavoring on any of your existing flavors??
  22. It was actually in the craft section, there is a cake section (usually wedding type stuff), saw it there the last time I was at our walmart. I think for mixing you will be much happier with it. do you have any type of craft store near you??
