I did figure all this out once upon a time when I first started vaping. I figure I go through about 1 - 1.5 ml/day. I smoked 30 cigs a day=30mg(ish). based on 1mg nicotine/cigarette - a figure that I came across years ago. I use 18mg liquid--so even at 1.5 mls I am getting less nicotine. much of the time i am using 12-16 mg/ml. Nicotine is probably one of the least harmful chemicals in cigarettes - I figure not having the other deadly chemicals I used to smoke, more than balances the nicotine.

I vary between 12mg and 18mg and unless I am at work--my ego is in my hand, pocket or on the table next to me. I vape all the time. You are not alone !!! Next time you order liquid you can try some 18 mg and just alternate with the 24mg and see what you think. at this point for me--its very much the pacifier effect I have no doubt that if it were not for vaping I would be smoking and I would much rather be vaping !!! (all the time)

Wrong Or Defective Charger, Or Bad Luck?
kitsune replied to EastCoastMan's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
With the 510's the regular charger and the mega charger are the same (to the best of my knowledge). I know the ego charger says not to use with 510 batteries. sounds like a very, very defective charger. Its probably not the suppliers fault (but should definitely replace it), sometimes duds do come through. I'm really sorry about the damage--and thank goodness it wasn't worse !!! Its frustrating when you lose parts through no fault of your own. -
When I first started I actually preferred the 510 to the super.wordup/510. at word up you do get a couple color choices--black, white, chrome, platinum, copper. The 510 gives great vapor and throat hit. and is thin like a regular cigarette. All e-cigs are heavier than a regular cigarette. If you decide to go with something like the 510--I highly recommend a PCC(personal charging case) for charging when you are out. PCC/Rockymountain. The battery life on the 510 is only a couple hours. Since you are home alot a passthrough would be good passthrough/wordup. Now, that being said---The best value, battery life, durability is the Ego/Tornado. And the pink is really great looking !!!! I love my Ego. I used the 510 when I first started and it really did work great--but the Ego wins hands down. (The Ego wasn't around when I first started) You have to pick the one you think will help you the most. No matter which way you go--I can promise you, it won't be the last model you get. Extra atomizers or cartomizers and extra liquid !!!! Happy vaping

Has Anyone Ordered From Strictlyejuice.com
kitsune replied to owutaqt's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I have ordered from them several times. great service and products. I still use the blue foam for cart filler now and again. I really liked their hookah watermelon--very yummy. They have been around for a bit and I haven't heard anything bad. -
congrats !!!! I am so glad you are enjoying your ego. It really is an amazing piece of equipment. who would have ever thought anything could so painlessly replace smoking. I have tried the condom filling method and it really isn't any messier than any other method. just make sure you have a tissue or cloth nearby to wipe off the excess. after you take a couple draws, the overflow leakage takes care of its self. I keep mine in my purse (any which way it falls)--no problems with leaking etc. can also use a reading glass case to keep it in while in your purse-- can set it on its flat end, horizontal--there really isn't a right or wrong that I have noticed. Happy vaping !!!!

Ceramic 510 Xl Cartomizers First Impression
kitsune replied to madhatter7750's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
Thank you for sharing that. I am thinking I want one of these--figure it this way, I am just getting around to trying cartomizers. but the ceramic ones really seem like they would be great--I love the idea of no filler. You will have to let me know what you think tomorrow after you have had some time to really break it in !!! -
add in great service and its a great place to shop--great selection.

Very glad you are still at least lurking. Sometimes just a different outlook can help. If nothing else, I get all kinds of useful information from all the different opinions.

I don't think cloudy would be an issue so long as the mixture is water soluble. I have only used Lorann, DIY Flavorshack and Flavourart (freedomsmokeusa). I know budget is tough. sounds like it might be worth a try. I took a look at the site and look pretty good.

The blue foam is intended to be a plug vs filler. fill the cart with about 12 drops of liquid--push the foam into the liquid--top off with the liquid and pull the foam back to the top of cart. using the foam as a plug- the cart holds much more liquid. I have never had a problem with flavor and have used blue foam for the last 6 months or so, in addition to dripping and cartomizers. I still prefer the blue foam when I am using carts.

I may not be much help, but---I have used regular atty's and low res attys at 3.7 to 6V. Battery life for me has been the same. Atty's from any of our reputable dealers are all equal. occasionally some get through that are duds or just don't last as long. as far as using atty's at 6V--I have found that when I am using the higher volts, letting the atty cool between draws helps maintain the life of the atty. I have found that attys that stay hot die much quicker. with dripping you get the hang of when to add more liquid--the risk is when the atty get too dry--you will know when it is even a little dry--not such a nice taste. hope that helped a little.

water soluable is the safest and less damaging to the atty. oils are also not metabolized well by the lungs. personally I stick to to water soluable flavoring.

fluval is used for fish aquariums and fish are very sensitive to anything toxic. fluval has been used without issue. the best type is the fluval 2 plus. there are many types of fluval, some are a bit too dense and others are too soft. fluval 2plus I actually prefer the blue foam from strictly ejuice. i have tried aquarium filter for the blue foam, but it's just not quite the same. blue foam the blue foam works a bit different than the white fillers--the strictly ejuice site has a diagram and directions. Its fairly inexpensive and can be washed and reused. happy vaping

sorry, you may be the guinea pig on this one. over all, so long as the liquids are water soluable, they should work just fine. the oil based liquids can be used, but require shaking before each use and can be a bit hard on atomizers. the oil based ones, can clog the atty.

honestly--menthol mixes well with almost anything. I add a bit to all my mixes--adds a nice cool throat hit !! not sure about adding to root beer however......
