  1. That was a great post !! so hard to fathom the stupidity of humans.....
  2. The ego really is a great battery and lasts much, much longer than the standard batteries. The kits doe come with atomizers and carts. The carts can be refilled without problem. occasionally the edges of the carts can melt if the atty gets too hot, but will still work fine. You can also look at ordering some cartomizers--if you get the blank ones, you can fill with your own liquid. No matter what you order, you will want an extra battery, and maybe a couple extra atomizers (as budget allows), liquid. drip tips are fairly inexpensive and handy to have if you would like to try dripping. We all know there is tons of information, and initially it is pretty confusing. keep asking, it will all make sense eventually !!!
  3. If this you first PV The ego would be a very smart choice--Great battery life and minimal fuss and muss. the 600mah batteries last (for me) about 6 -8 hours, the 900mah batteries last all day. The 510 atomizer will give you great throat hit and vapor. The ego kits come with 510 atomizers. sounds like cartomizers may well be a good way for you to go. less refilling--lasts several hours to all day for many people. dripping does give better flavor and vapor--but not always convenient. No matter which way you go--Its always good to have handy extra battery, atomizer and liquid. don't necessarily have to have it on you--just good to have it accessible. There are several variable voltage units out there--They use different batteries depending on voltage desired. The Joker is one My link The buzz My link
  4. Yea Hodge !!!!! I am alternating between nic and 0 nic. I really can't tell the difference. I love the raspberry--now I think I need to add a bit of cotton candy to my mix. Its kinda liberating to be able to use 0 nic
  5. You will be very happy with the ego !!! great battery life. I know what you mean--sometimes, you just have to jump....sounds like you have a good shopping list put together. I have heard of ivapour and nothing bad stands out. you will soon be in vaping heaven !!!
  6. I had the same problem when I first started vaping--very cloudy and could sleep anytime. Like you, I had quite smoking for a week or so in the past, I had felt cloudy and sleepy, but not that sleepy. I don't know if it was the combination of vaping nicotine and quitting smoking or some other combination. For me, it passed after about a week. For a quick fix, you can use wiltons glycerin (hobby or craft store--cake section) and dilute the liquid you have now and see if that helps. During that first week--I vaped almost constantly.....
  7. No Worries, but before you order check out the sites the prof listed--they are all good suppliers. The prof has been vaping for quite a while and as he said, lives in the UK. best of luck on your journey--finding good suppliers can be a challenge when you are first starting out. Happy vaping
  8. LOL !!!! at least a cold is good for something......
  9. LOL Light-- somebody must have dropped you on your head when you were little....... I am really looking forward to the reviews. Blueberry cheesecake...........mmmmm people are killing me with talk of cheesecake.....thank goodness there are no calories in vaping.........
  10. sorry, no help. The only type of tobacco flavoring I have used is the flavourart ones--not sure they are giving out the recipes ....
  11. Try not keeping it with you all the time. take off the driptip/cart/cartomizer so you have to put it together add liquid etc. For me, I was one of the lucky ones that was easily able to replace smoking with vaping. Not everybody has it that easy. I still say, if you need a smoke, then smoke. over time vaping will replace smoking. There are many people that try to vape only during times when they would normally smoke and not have it in their hands or near by all the time. Hang in there !!!!

    Help!

Very good point owutaqt. Withdrawal symptoms do have their own demons. I felt really fuzzy for a couple weeks. but I was one of the lucky ones--not a single cigarette craving--being fuzzy was a small price to pay. For filling the carts you can wait until they seem empty or you can add a couple drops to the top, wait for it to absorb, when it doesn't seem like anymore will absorb, that is all the cart will hold. I promise, there are no stupid questions--you are learning a whole new thing. we were all new once. Just try to save some of that 24mg off to the side, much easier to have around if you think you need some extra nicotine. Diluting the nicotine will also dilute the flavor a bit too--just a heads up. If you have questions, ask. we really want this to work for you !!!!

    Help!

you probably don't have any empty dropper bottles yet. need a very small container you can up part of you 24 mg liquid in. eye dropper bottle?? if you go about 50/50 you will have about 12 mg, which is a good place to start with experimenting. if you feel you need a bit stronger, add some more of the 24 mg, or still too strong, add a bit of the glycerin. Do you have a michaels or hobby lobby near by--they are your best bet. if you don't see the baking glycerin--just ask. you may also run across some lorann candy flavoring in the baking section--great for adding or changing flavor. a few drops of flavoring goes a long way.
  14. LOL, I am very glad you have figured it out--I will have to remember not everybody draws into the mouth then the lungs--good to remember when giving advise. Very glad you have brought this up !!! If you prefer the direct inhale--just try a lower nicotine level and then you can compare which you prefer. Lessons learned can help other people new to vaping !!!!

    Help!

Does sound like it is the nicotine strength. couple choices for lowering the nicotine amount. 1. buy some PG or VG 0 nicotine (unflavored) 2. buy some PG or VG 0mg, 6mg or 12mg (depending on how much lower)--0mg would probably be the easiest--in a flavor you like. 3. For a more immediate solution walmart (sometime) and most craft stores carry wiltons glycerin--baking/craft isle. usually in the area where you find cake decorating items. some use the glycerin you find in the pharmacy area (would use this as a last resort--doesn't always taste very good--but would be ok for diluting the liquid you have)
  16. You can use PG or VG to dilute any liquids or use a lower or 0 nicotine premixed liquid. http://www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php With this calculator just put in the amount you have and the amount you want to create. uses 0 nic, PG or VG. You can put 0 in the flavoring box. The bottom portion tells you how much of each. Much more accurate if you can use the mls. using drops is much less accurate. What mg/ml do you have and what do you want to make it??
  17. We all feel your pain !!! waiting is brutal. Very glad you are looking at the ego--really is a great unit. Eventually the waiting will be over.
  18. LOL !!! I love small children--they are the single most amazing creatures on the planet.
  19. Chris--You do know--we would do anything necessary to help you.... right?? This is the only place I love to come and hang out--you have worked your A** off the give us such a fantastic forum
  20. I am so glad the tornado is working so well for you. night and day !!!! finding the right liquids is half the fun !!! so many suppliers sell 3ml -10ml sizes which are great for testing out new flavors !!!
  21. I use Liberty-Flights or Freedomsmokeusa The other benefit of the 0 nic--when I get some in my mouth, it doesn't burn and I don't have to rinse my mouth out. The 0 nic tastes really yummy !!! I Think I may next try some 0 nic pina colada....... This morning I am going back to nicotine--but only because I got some champagne liquid from wordup and it really is so very yummy. I think I will just keep alternating the nic and 0 nic. I have tons of nic flavors I love that I will need to use up. Honestly using nicotine doesn't really bother me--I still drink plenty of coffee too( hate decaff).
  22. would definitely getting a few different strengths and few different flavors. The marlboro is a nice mellow flavor, if you try wordup--I am really loving their champagne flavor. been a long time since I have had any cherry flavors--but I used to love them. so many flavors to try out there...... Initially, don't worry about how much nicotine you 'need'--get some different strength and see what works. you can work on decreasing the nicotine once you get the hang of things. supplies--sounds like you have a good handle on what you need. as budget allows--extra atomizers, batteries, chargers, liquids--backups, backups, backups. wordup BTW--welcome. keeping asking, we will try to help
