  1. Does sound interesting !!! I have had pretty good luck with flavourart products. Some of the flavors have changed over the last year--Namely my beloved Tiramisu (not quite the same)--The coffee flavor changed a bit too. not necessarily bad, just different. Back on topic---I'm thinking might be worth trying--maybe my next order...... If you get it first Brian, we expect to hear if its any good.
  2. I have used the over the counter extracts and they do work. but like birddog said they may be a bit weak and will require a bit more---trial and error. I have never tried the HUMCO--I don't know if it will have the sweetness needed. but its worth a shot. your best bet is to mix and see what happens. the coconut and french vanilla mix nicely. your only problem may be sweet--mix a small batch and see how it tastes. It a bit like cooking--flavor to taste.......
  3. Congrats on cutting down 3 or 4--thats a huge step forward !!!
  4. I'm sorry about the accident--I think that is a perfectly good reason to have a smoke. I have always felt the easiest way to quit, is to quit worrying about quitting....(not sure if that made any sense at all). If you need a smoke, smoke. I can promise, most of us have been in the same spot. really, you have to figure if vaping helps you to not smoke even one cigarette--your already ahead of the curve for the day. we are
  5. I am loving the midnight and machiatto from the vapor talk store--the grape and dulcis are very good too. I also really like the champagne from wordup. taste is very subjective--trying different flavors is the only way to really find out what works best for you. the 5 or 10 ml sizes are great for trying new flavors without breaking the bank. I have also had very good luck with the flavors from liberty flights.
  6. just avoid anything with oil--hard on the atty. otherwise you should be pretty safe. most are made with alcohol, glycerin and flavoring. If you have a hobby or craft store in town like hobby lobby or michaels--they also carry the wiltons and Lorann(usually). The Lorann is usually found in the candy making section and the wiltons is in the cake decorating/baking section. getting started is the hardest part--ok, well, maybe not the hardest. There is a lot of trial and error at first. if you run across the Lorann raspberry--its really good with just the VG.
  7. Nice one Roober !!! really does look familiar
  8. your lungs will not collapse from the vg or from the flavoring.......some rare mutated gene in your DNA...maybe. I can't wait to hear what you come up with.
  9. menthol arctic flavor hopefully this link will get you to the right place. if not--its under flavourart condensed flavoring-sweet flavors-the flavors are alphabetized. not sure why its listed with the sweet flavors. Their flavor selection is amazing. I highly recommend the apple pie and tiramisu flavorings--they mix really well with the tobacco flavors.
  10. When adding menthol- the flavor concentrates work best. The one i use most often is flavourart freedomsmokeusa. a little goes a very long way. I usually add about 5 drops to 5ml of liquids. you can make your own with pg or vg or add it to any existing 0 nic liquid. in small amounts you can get the cool throat hit without tasting like menthol or add more as needed. Im certain you could list the extra liquid you have and somebody would be willing to buy it from you.
  11. I've only tried the midnight, sweet dawn was sold out last time I ordered. Midnight has quickly become one of my favorites--
  12. This time its not all in your head..... I have found the same thing--I have lots of atty's and I swear no 2 are the same--not bad, just not the same.
  13. did anybody mention Ego..... It really is the best next step, reliable, great battery life and wonderful vapor.
  14. Congrats !! I was one of the lucky ones that found vaping to be the perfect solution and was able quit smoking easily (even though I had no intention on quitting). I really hope this keeps working for you--vaping really is amazing.
  15. For the banner--you can click on one of our banners-fill in the blanks-click create banner-copy and paste to your signature on you profile page.
  16. not sure why my computer is being a pain-- I guess I will go with the short answer--yes you can use the over the counter flavorings. walmart has a nice selection. just start small and add to taste.
  17. Menthol works great for adding throat hit--I have used it in my experimenting with 0 nic and had very good results. I am not sure where you can buy over the counter. I get mine from freedomsmokeusa/flavourart menthol concentrate. for a quick fix you may be able to try peppermint food flavoring--I have seen it at walmart in the spice isle. has anybody contacted the insurance company to see if nicotine aides (patches etc) are allowed under the new policy??? with a prescription they should not be able to drop you..... they very well may be able to test for other chemicals found in chew and cigarettes other than just nicotine.
  18. Congrats !!! I am certain you will love it
  19. Not sure about 'wealth of knowlege', just lots of trial and error. I have not tried a straight menthol flavor--I usually use just a couple drops in all my liquids to add a nice cool throat hit and enhance the flavors. I have never tried the menthol crystals for mixing, but I do use flavorart menthol (very strong)--a couple menthol options: freedomsmokeusa--I have used many of the flavourart flavorings with very good results. I really like the flavor selection. plus you can get most all your DIY stuff here. DIY flavorshack--a very good selection of flavors and DIY supplies. There is also Totally Wicked--decadent vapors line of concentrates. When dealing with menthol--keep in mind a little goes a very long way !!! You can use VG, PG, or a mix of both. you can also use any premixed flavors you have to change or add to the flavor. always start with small amounts (1-2 mls)--less waste. with the menthol I would start with 1 ml of any liquid base (PG,VG, or premixed) start by adding 3 drops of menthol-mix and vape. add more flavoring as needed. couple drops at a time. Good to get some 3, 5 and 10 ml bottles. a pipette or syringe is very helpful for mixing larger batches. Mixing your own can be a lot of fun and many interesting mixes are possible. but keep in mind there is also plenty of trial and error.
  20. I hope everything is still working well. My first one also came with no directions--lots of trial and error !!! The harshness can be breaking in a new atomizer. Like Mastiffmom said--long slow gentle draws work best.
  21. I am currently loving VT's midnight and machiatto--both vape very nicely. Ms. T's bakery does have some very fine flavors. wordup-champagne sooooo many flavors to choose from. buying 5-10 ml sizes allows for trying lots of new flavors.
  22. The 520 typically will last a moderate vaper about 4 hours (maybe a bit more)--I have had a couple 520's--they were pretty good, last longer than the standard 510, but battery life is still shorter than the ego. It all depends on what you want as part of the change.....
  23. For me, I prefer the Ego still--the ego battery is much better than the volcano in terms of battery life between charging. The pen style units need to be charged frequently. There are many inexpensive 510 passthroughs that are very good. perfect for computer or car !! The ego also does have a passthrough. no help with the ceramic atomizers, sorry.
  24. The 520 is a longer version of the 510. The same atomizers, carts, cartomizers that fit the ego will also fit the 520. you will need a separate charger for the 520 (510 charger) as the ego charger can damage the 520/510 batteries. Congrats to both of you !!! I had completely quit quitting and had no intention to quit when I found vaping--In 30 years I had never managed to quit for more than a week. vaping really has been a miracle for me too.
