They really are making my Ego hit alot like my 5V

Sounds like your atty may be getting a bit gunked up. do you by chance have any spare atty's on hand or just waiting for your order?? typically what I do is: remove the atty from the battery, using a kleenex or papertowel, twist a corner and push into the open end of the atty and let sit over night. you will be amazed at how much liquid is left in there. the next day--using a new kleenex or paper towel, I hold the atty over the towel and blow through the battery end of the atty to get any extra gunk out. Before using the atty again--make sure you reprime it with 3-4 drops of liquid. you can also use a multimeter to test the strength of the atty and see if it really is going bad or if it just needs a bit of a vacation. I have had a few I though were bad--cleaned them, set them aside for a few days and then they decided to work just fine. atty's can last a couple weeks to a couple months.....

First Low Res Atty Tastes Kinda... Gross!
kitsune replied to humblesound's topic in New Vapers Forum
I've had that happen on a couple of my standard atty's. The wick melts when even slightly dry causing the nasty burning taste. I hope removing the gunk (that probably used to be the wick) works. -
Abe is pretty helpful and quick to get things fixed. Glad you got sorted out.

I've only had mine for a couple of days and I found I really had to decrease the length of my draw. I am really used to long, slow draws. with these (Bauway)--I found a short gentle draw worked very well, and didn't get the harsh burning. I also removed the wick--I primarily drip--without the wick I have had zero burning. I haven't had any trouble with leaking either. Its a bit hard to get used to taking shorter draws--old dog, new tricks--not so easily.

Nice Hodge !!! It really does feel good to get somebody else interest in vaping. You've been a vaping veteran for a while....

First Low Res Atty Tastes Kinda... Gross!
kitsune replied to humblesound's topic in New Vapers Forum
I just got mine a couple days ago--2 things I figured out: 1. I found If I took a much shorter draw--the flavor, vapor production and throat hit were very good. If I drew too long I got the harsh burnt flavor. Habit of long slow draw was difficult to stop..... 2. I am mostly a dripper--so I removed the wick and have had zero burned/harsh taste. The LRs are easier to draw as a rule, but these ones really seem easy and a shorter draw seems to work best (for me anyway) -
Great article. I just can't believe how many people fall for media and 'medical research' scare tactics. Humans really are a funny lot.....

Just wanted to share a Thanks to COV for very Fast and Great Service. Decided I couldn't pass up the price on their COV Bauway LR 1.5 510 with Drip Tip. Mind you I am completely electronically clueless, I have no clue about the differences between Lr atty's and have only been using these for the last couple days--I love them !! I did have to remove the wick--(I almost solely drip)--The draw time for me is only 3-4 seconds (which for me is good-usually 5-8 sec). Excellent vapor production and the atty's don't get too hot. I also got some of their caramel cream liquid--very nice. excellent vapor and throat hit. Thanks COV !!! really like this product (plus, I love having extra drip tips)

Sounds like you are filling carts correctly. quite a bit of the liquid stays in the cart. I mostly direct drip, but I use about 10-15mls/week (sometimes a little more). honestly, it all depends on what works for you. When you feel ready--experiment with dripping--I found I would end of topping off the carts frequently throughout the day. It just became easier to drip for me. (just don't drip and drive). Cartomizers are also an other thing to try when your ready. I mostly stick to dripping, but many love cartomizers--much less filling and lasts longer between fills. Over all it sounds like you are doing ok. In the beginning you will go through a bit more juice, as you get the hang of things.

Just Thought I Would Say Thanks Guys

I really love it here too--The great people are the reason I stay. I hate some of the hostile environments out there--I get enough of that in daily life. I can come here, breathe, relax, vape and enjoy. If you have more questions--feel free to ask--we want new people to succeed. There is tons of info to absorb and even more tricks to learn. It really does get easier !!! -
I've used Adobe a few times and it isn't hard to use and can definitely do lots of projects with it. I'm still a novice photoshop person. Just working on scanning all the old pictures I have lying around into my computer.

Worth trying VG and seeing if that helps. Does she inhale directly into her lungs or does she draw into her mouth and then inhale..... Those that inhale directly seem to have a lot of trouble with coughing.

Way to cold and snowy to go anywhere. spent my new years vaping away (and drinking) with our lovely VT family. spent the rest of new years day drinking lots and lots of water to flush my poor liver. Can't stand to be around that much cigarette smoke anymore--really does make me feel sick.....Can't believe I was one of the stinky smokers for so many years....
-
Needless to say it was a great way to ring in the New Year. I had a blast. so great to see everyone. My New Years resolution is to visit Tiny Chat more frequently. I really do love this VT family. Spent yesterday with some friends and family--hung out and played Wii all day. plus a bit of air hockey. Today will be back to work...... Happy new Year

Happy New Year !!!!! My second New Year as a non smoker and still in Love with Vaping. Thanks to all the wonderful people involved in the Vaping community. This really is my Favorite place to hang out.

Got My Father An Ego For Christmas.
kitsune replied to CASEACE79's topic in General Vaping Discussion
He may just be a bit self conscious about using it around people at first. Just bring up bits of news or tid bits of info about your experience and see if he bites. Maybe discuss flavors...... Good for you on getting your father started !!! -
I will definitely try to stay awake long enough to make it to chat. worked the last 3 nights--feel like I have been beat with a very large stick and then run over by a very large truck (twice)-- Would love to see everybody !!!!!
-
Its hard to believe that this will be the second new years as a non smoker--and still able to keep my new years resolution. Happy new year to all !!!!

My MM is my absolute favorite vaping device and so beautiful. Congrats on joining the MM club

Great Article Prof--A++ all the way around. That was a lot of work. Very Helpful. "I do sometimes wonder if the 510 is largely responsible for the original advent of dripping…" ---For me--It really is the reason I have gone to dripping.

Need A Good Base E-Juice To Mix My Crazy Flavours With
kitsune replied to mrtroy's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
Like Nana said.....mix small at first. For a tobacco base--in the past I have used various forms of Marlboro and it has worked very well. I also really love adding a bit of menthol to my flavors. really seems to help flavors. -
MMMMMM--Menthol !!!! Menthol does seem to help a bit. Getting enough flavor is the challenge. Ms. T's Blueberry and pecan doughnut were very yummy--and lots of flavor. I had put them away--when I use a flavor for a while the flavors get weaker to taste--time to get them back out.
-
Sorry, Not going to be much help with this one. Way beyond my mixing knowledge. I do know that sugars and oils are not good for the atty's, I'm thinking natural sugars would also caramelize on tthe atty and gunk it up. Health wise--can't see it being any worse than using food flavoring....

The only supplier that had flavors strong enough for me was Ms. T Bakery My link. My ability to taste flavor seems to come and go. I can actually taste VT midnight. I still mostly DIY. I like adding flavors to pre mixed flavors as well as mixing from the ground up. I tend to add a lot of flavoring when mixing--40% ish. I think DIY flavorshack My link will let you adjust the flavoring %.
