When I am using Loranns I use much less than with other flavorings. I usually mix Loranns at about 10%. Its best to start small and add as needed. Much depends on which flavor is being used. Liberty flights (UK) carries flavourart, which is one of the other flavorings I use. I love their Apple pie, Tiramisu and expresso flavors. Lots of trial and error and trying different brands. we all have our favorites. Lorann has some good flavors and some so-so flavors and some nasty ones--it really is all subjective.

Backups, Backups, Backups. Most of us learn this the hard way at some point. Sorry you have to wait !!!

Most of the chemist glycerin is VG-- Like Brian said--if it's thick, its VG. But either way--it is usable. If you put a bit on your finger and taste--it will be a bit sweet. Both PG and VG are good for mixing.

Word up is really great with customer service !!! Great products too

I used to find myself adding liquid to the carts/filler very, very often to keep up with vaping. The filler just couldn't wick fast enough for me. There is nothing like nice smooth throat hit of freshly added liquid. dripping really is the next step and really does make a difference. I have given up on messing with carts and filler, occasionally use them when driving--dripping and driving are not recommended. Direct Dripping This a a very helpful direct dripping how to.

Caker sores are not uncommon with vaping--especially in the beginning. I have heard some have better luck with VG mixes. The higher the nicotine in the liquid to more likely to develop canker sores. There are typically caused by getting liquid on you lips or in your mouth--Which unfortunately does happen (more so in the beginning). anytime you get liquid on your lips or in your mouth--rinse well with water or any handy beverage. I still keep water handy. PG is also very drying to the membranes in your mouth, doesn't help with canker sores. It does get better !!!!

In the vaping world there is no such thing as having too many supplies !!! You will love vaping. The Ego will be a great place to begin learning the tricks of vaping, but I am sure you will be playing with all your new toys I love being to vape anytime and anywhere I want. No more waiting for that next cigarette, no stink either. You are in for an amazing adventure.

Unfortunately not really familiar with madvapes PT. I do own 3 different types of PT's--(1) 3.7v and (2) 5 v--I haven't had any trouble with either end of the PT wiring. You can always determine structure strength when you have it in your hand and decide if you think you need to reinforce. The 5V does take a bit of relearning. I have found I take a shorter draw and it really does burn juice a bit faster. Personally, I love 4.5 - 5V. Cant wait to hear what you think

That is exactly what you are looking for. I couldnt live without it. I love using my passthrough in my car, I actually have one (passthrough and adapter) that lives in my Jeep. When I drop it--I can just use the cable to reel it back in.......

My link1. When the filler gets too dry, the atomizer gets too dry and the come that foul taste. I am almost solely a dripper. I don't have much experience with cartomizers. hopefully Dayvape or one of our other carto experts can help with that one. 2. For adding throat hit--I use menthol liquid or menthol flavoring. I really like the menthol from flavourart via freedom smoke usa My link. A little goes a long way. adds a nice cool throat hit without tasting like menthol.

I have gone both ways on this. Sometimes I remember to remove the wick before I use it, sometimes I wait until it tastes bad. I haven't had one fall apart on me yet. I usually just pull out any threads I can see. I don't always get them all out. Sorry you have a dead atty New atty's really can taste very, very bad. did you drip any liquid onto the atty?? I usually find for a new atty I use 4 drops to get things going--some times I add an extra couple drops if it tastes really bad.

Mixing really is alot of fun. I love all the flavor combinations possibilities. Banana cream sounds really good. The cheesecake would be great with so many different flavors. a mixing party sounds like fun, always nice to share flavors and brainstorm creations. You'll have to share some good recipes !!!!!

Getting A Burnt Taste Out Of A New Ego. Desperate.
kitsune replied to swatsqad's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
1. If you are using the standard Carts--sometimes the atty actually melts the edges of the cart and gives a nasty plastic taste. 2. Sometimes a few strands of wick get stuck to the coil. my process for fixing this is: 1. Gently push a corner of kleenex or paper towel into the open end of the atty. 2. Blow through the battery end of the atomizer to dislodge any extra liquid or debris left under the bridge. can use compressed air to dislodge debris. 3. let the atty sit with the kleenex/papertowel in the atty. you will be surprised at how much liquid gets trapped in there. Make sure you reprime the atty with 3-4 drops of liquid before using. 3. Using a drip tip solves the melting cart problem. If you are using standard carts--dripping saves time and frustration. I found I was frequently topping off the carts--the filler can't wick fast enough to keep up with my vaping. 4. and of course removing the wick--The wick is designed to help wick the liquid to the coil when using carts. Lots of trial, error and trouble shooting. I promise it really does get easier -
What Do You Do With Left Over Flavors?
kitsune replied to easilyamused's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
There is just too much stuff that is on my have to have list--currently I just try to keep my spending a little below what I would spend smoking to justify the things I 'need'. so many toys and flavors ...... I do mix and match my flavors. I hate having just a little left in a bigger bottle. 3 and 5 ml empty bottles are great to have around for just such needs. With the clove, you could use it to add a drop or 2 the other flavors, but over all it is such a strong flavor that in larger amounts would overpower the other flavors. good once to save for emergency use. I love my Tackle box !!!! The small plastic storage containers with drawers are also handy for frequently used bits and pieces. Ripple--We do have a members classified section that you can list trades/swaps/sale items and see if there are any takers.... -
As you can tell we all have different preferences. I agree completely with Dayvape--I really try to stick to the clearer flavors. The Dark ones really kinda scare me, and Lorann has some that are really, really dark--then again it really is a candy/food flavoring. The Bavarian Cream has a sharp flavor to me--I have not had much luck with cream flavors. I have ordered from the Lorann site--you see the color and check the item for water solubility. I like the Cotton candy, Marshmallow and champagne flavors for adding background and sweetness. I also really like the Lorann watermelon-the color is a bit fluorescent in the bottle, but once mixed, the color fades to a very pale color. The Pina colada flavor is also great for tropical mixes. Mostly I use flavourart--I really love the Apple Pie, Tiramisu, Expresso, Forest Fruit, Menthol, Hazelnut and vanilla. These are the flavors I use most often. We all have different tastes and preferences, unfortunately the only way to find out what works is trial and error. I Too add a few drops of menthol to all my mixes--add a bit of cool throat hit without tasting like menthol. Don't know any Aussie companies, Liberty-Flights does carry FlavourArt. They have a UK based site. They have always been great for me. FlavourArt is an Italian Company, but shipping cost is fairly expensive out of Italy.

There is a bit of trial and error to get the hang of things. It took me a while to get the hang of dripping, but now its my only way to vape. A drip tip makes all the difference. I only use 2 drops at a time, avoids flooding. However, many swear by cartomizers, filling and such just takes practice and patience. Once you make it through the learning curve things get better. you can also get some glycerine from any pharmacy--labeled glycerol as a skin protectant--but its just glycerin. slightly sweet. can also use wiltons glycerin--craft store, baking/cake isle. Can use either of these to add to your liquids if you still feel like the throat hit is too harsh. will also dilute the flavor a bit too.

Welcome !!! once you get started you will get excited. It really is an amazing experience. If you still get stuck, let us know. we will try our best to help. Chris and Jeff gave you great links. Hope they help. You will love the Ego.

Chocolate is a hard one to come by. It never tastes quite right. some flavors are just very hard to replicate. I have the same problem with cherry flavors--they taste more like cough syrup. I really like the forest fruit flavor from flavourart--sold at freedomsmokeusa My link or ecig express My link. When using Flavourart I really prefer the Apple Pie, Tiramisu, cookie, hazelnut, expresso and Menthol. I add Menthol (just a couple drops) to all my mixes--add a bit of a cool throat hit and enhances the flavors. When Using Loranns-- I like the raspberry, watermelon, Cotton candy (for sweetness) or Marshmallow (for sweetness). Their peach isnt too bad. the cherry was very cough syrup to me. Haven't tried their chocolate. I have also heard good things about faeries finest My link. They are next on my list to try. Unfortunately mixing involves a bit of trial and error. We all taste a bit different. Here are some recipes: My link some DIY information: My link

Another option that helps a bit with the throat hit is to add a bit of menthol to your flavors. I was never a menthol smoker and never really cared for menthol, but if I add a few drops of menthol liquid or flavoring to any flavor it adds a bit of throat hit, without tasting like menthol. Using an LR atty does help a bit too. Mostly I vape 12-18mg. I have some 6g midnight that doesn't have enough throat hit--the menthol worked well. are you trying to stay at the lower nicotine level??

Makayla Being Attacked By Dad
kitsune replied to Christopher's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
She is the cutest thing !!! I love that laugh--would make a great ring tone. It impossible not to smile when you hear that giggle. good job dad. -
are you using nic liquid to refill the carts or just using the prefilled ones?? what nicotine level are you using?? personally, I think the manual batterys provide better throat hit and vapor--more control over how long you want to draw and the ability to safely direct drip. Sounds like you got the 510?? The Ego is really a great device, but the only difference between the Ego and the 510 is the battery life between charges.

Determining My 2Nd Unit Before 1St One Arrives
kitsune replied to TroopX's topic in New Vapers Forum
VT stores midnight is a great sweet flavor. One of my favorites. The grape is pretty good too. Ms. T's Bakery essentials has some great sweet flavors. -
Congrats on placing your order, you will not be sorry !!!

so.....did you pull the trigger????

if you are going to go with the 510--you may want to look into a pcc (Charging case)--that way you can be charging a battery while you are out and about. extras are always good--extra atty, extra battery, liquid. even good to get a couple different strengths liquid, until you decide which strength works best for you.
