sorry, not much help. I gave up on using the cone. my poor atty's go about in their birthday suits.

So many mods out there its overwhelming. haven't been able to bring my self to spend the money on one of the fancy ones yet--always so many other things to buy. I have been really happy with my VP VV Turbo from Vaprlife My link. I do like the Variable Voltage models. Although mine spends most of its time at 5v.

Looks like you have some good answers. The reason we start hanging out on the forum is the lack of instructions with the e-cig kits. many of us learn as we go. feel free to ask, we love to share our experiences. Most of us stay on the forum because we fall in love with the community.

You aren't alone with this. Many of us have the same issue. I also find if I drink strong coffee or eat something with strong flavor it kills the liquid flavor for a while. I do have a tendency to switch flavors frequently and that seems to help a bit. I usually alternate between a fruit flavor and my apple pie or tiramisu. It seems to help if I alternate between 2 completely different flavors.

You can also hold the atomizer over a papertowel (or some such) and blow through the battery end of the atomizer to remove the primer. once you blow it out--gently push a corner of kleenex into the open end of the atomizer and let sit for 5-10 minutes. put 2 drops directly to the atomizer and replace the tank cartridge and see if that helps.

Congrats !!! Its amazing how quickly you start to feel better without smoking. Very glad you have been able to make the switch. Vaping really is amazing.

If you are able to drip directly to the atty and get good vapor and no burnt taste, it's probably not the atty. sometimes VG seems to be a bit too thick for the tanks, even the VG mixes. if the liquid isn't pulling from the tank to the atty you will get a dry burnt atty taste. For the primer (tastes really nasty)--you blow through the battery end of the atomizer--just hold it over a papertowel or something and blow through the battery end of the atomizer. everclear is a very high proof clear alcohol. personally, I would just go with blowing out the atomizer. Do you have any straight PG liquid to try?? Also, make sure the tank cartridge isn't filled all the way to the top, make sure there is a bit of space at the top of the cartridge. My LR attys are in the mail, so no help there.

mixing and matching flavors is easy enough--just make sure you start with small amounts for testing. Have you checked out the DIY portion of the forum. Looks like you have 6 posts, so you should be able to access the DIY section. Tons of info.

Its april 1st, new month---time to go shopping. I can't wait to try the LR's and see if there is a difference. I'm glad your wife is loving it--sounds like she has found her vaping weapon of choice. I haven't had any leaking problems either. still alternating between the tank and my regular ego + atty for dripping. Then of course theres my 5v for that extra kick. The Tank for me really has replaced the need for carts or cartomizers. Great for working 12 hour shifts--much less hassel.

The Ego 1000mah lasts me about 1.5 -2 days of moderate to heavy vaping. It will work with the 510 riva atomizer/cartomizers. The Ego and the Riva are the same type of battery. Variable voltage mods are very nice and offer more flexibility. definitley research first. There are a lot of choices and we all have our preferences. I have been very happy with my vp turbo adjustable voltage from vapr life.

The amount of nicotine is a bit relative. Some that smoked 1/2 a pack love 24mg and others that smoked more do just fine at lower mg. I was pack and a half and love 18mg. honestly, if you get 5-10 ml flavors with a few different strengths and determine which one works best for you. 14 or 18 mg is probably a good place to start.

Many vendors sell both plain VG and PG. I usually use wordup or liberty flights. You can also buy pharmaceutical grade VG from any pharmacy. Sold as Glycerin or Glycerol. the bottle will say skin protectant, but it's just one of the many uses for VG. I know, I know, the whole skin protectant seems wrong. I got some from the walmart pharmacy, tasted it, and it really does taste lightly sweet and plenty thick. Works well for mixing, been using it for about 6 months.

Wet box will have to wait until I am done building my Tank supplies. I really am liking the Tank system. Flavor seems to be improving--mixing my flavors a bit stronger. but awesome throat hit and vapor. Just posted on another thread. Just took the bottom caps off my tank cart and that has really seemed to kick things up a notch. nicer draw and I swear better flavor.

Nice Review Brian !!! Like you, I am liking the tank--will never replace dripping, but certainly is great to use when dripping is difficult. I love how easy it is to change flavors. I keep 3-4 tanks filled with different flavors and just switch out the tank. I honestly can't believe I didn't think to take off the bottom caps . It was always the first thing I did with the 510 carts. I must say, it does make a difference. the draw is much nicer, and i actually think the flavor is a bit better. Did this on both my VP/PT Tank and on the Ego batt tank and helps with both. Good Catch. Thanks Brian--Thats twice this week.

Hey All, My Name is Lisa aka kitsune and I too am a serious vapaholic. It all began 674 days ago......... Wish I could tell you guys it gets any better.....but, sadly no. Each month I swear I am going to make it through a whole month without buying something.....I sometimes make it to the end of the month, but have yet to go through a month without buying. My poor husband (a non smoker), just can't quite understand it. I figure, so long as I spend less than I would if I were still smoking (and I would be still smoking) I'm still in the black. Mind you, some months its a real challenge to keep that budget.

For me-- 2 drops lasts me about 6 draws before I need to add more liquid. If the harsh taste is coming toward the end of the 10 draws--you need to add liquid.

Let me know when you find the answer that one Sharon. I just never know what it is I will need for my mixing--so best to have everything possible. I could problably make all my liquids last through the next millenia. New stuff is just too tempting !!!! And I still love waiting new packages of any size.
