  1. LR attys really do have a much nicer feel overall. I have had a few that seem to hit hard initially and then seem to just kick in after a bit of use. Direct dripping + LR = perfect. Glad its working better
  2. How are things going with your eGo???
  3. Wow Hodge !!! Time really does fly. I am so glad to have been with you on this journey. You always provided support and entertainment.
  4. You can never have too many backups !!!! I just keep adding to my supply a little at a time each month. The thought of running out of a key component gives me great anxiety--kinda like the old days and not having enough cigarettes on hand.
  5. Dripping is my sweet spot. For me its the best flavor, vapor and throat hit. Using a drip tip is much more convenient, but a blank cart works well too. I drip 2 drops at a time, I get 6-8 draws before I need to drip some more. I find 2 drops leads to less leakage. One of the great things about vaping is the number of vaping options available. The only way to find out what works best for you is to try the various methods available. as far as feeling a burning sensation on your tounge---the only time I get that is if the atomizer is a bit too dry or if there is primer left on the atty.
  6. Yes you can charge them at any point. The light does not need to flash before putting it on the charger.
  7. Welcome Tammi, very glad to have you with us. and glad you are looking at quitting smoking. E-cigs really are an amazing alternative. The best place to start is going to be the ego or ego tank. The ego tank system is one of the easiest to use and a great place for beginners. The ego batteries will be fatter than a cigarette, but the battery life is much, much longer than the smaller devices. The 510 models are thinner and more like a cigarette, but the battery life is short. The are no exact numbers of how many carts/liquid/draws = a pack or a carton. so much depends on the individual and how much they are vaping. I was a pack a day smoker and I go through 40-50 mls of 18mg/ml liquid per month. You will not want to rely on the cartridges. Look into the ego tank system or the ego with cartomizers. My personal sweet spot is the ego + 510 atomizer + dripping. we all have our own favorites. Starting vaping really is lots of information and choices--keep asking and we will be happy to help
  8. The USB adapters work great. I use the one for my ipod. I also use the usb car adapter without problem. Not a clue as far as USB cables. I'm sure somebody will have the answer to that one. BTW--Welcome very glad you have joined us.

Like Brian said I have dealt with Liberty Flights for about a year and 1/2 and have always had great service and products.
  10. 50 % should be more than enough. next--are you using it in cartomizers or atomizers?? if you are using an atomizer--you can blow it out, you might be getting some primer placed on the heating element for shipping. hold the atomizer over a papertowel and blow through the battery end of the atomizer (can also use compressed air). Then I gently push the corner of a papertowel or kleenex into the open end of the atomizer and let it sit for a 15-20min or over night. then reprime the atomizer with 4 drips of the liquid and vape---see if maybe that will help. If you are using cartomizers--did they have liquid in them already or were they new??
  11. I am among the flavor challeged !!! I am almost 2 years in and still don't taste most of the flavors. This is the reason I went into DIY. Most times I just add flavoring to existing flavors and when I have time I make my own. Have you checked out the DIY forum??
  12. 11mg should give you at least some hit... 1. Are you taking slow gentle draws?? using a 510 it is best to take longer slow gentle draws. 2. try holding the button for a second before beginning to take a draw. 3. Do you have any atomizers with your devices or just cartomizers???
  13. Lower blood pressure should be worth at least one (if not 2) spending spree (s).....
  14. There will always be those that care more about 'impressions' vs facts. You would think business lost would be more important....
  15. The path to finding the 'sweet spot ' is always a bit bumpy. I'm glad you have found a good combination that is working for you You can dilute your stronger liquids. you can buy pharmacy grade glycerin from any pharmacy. I got mine at walmart. Humco makes a product that is glycerine and is sold as skin protectant. I was hesitant about the product--the whole skin protectant thing threw me. when I tasted it--it has the slightly sweet taste of VG and works great for diluting liquids. It will also dilute the flavor a bit, but will make it vapable.
  16. Like Brian said--sometimes they just seem to stop performing well before they die. For me, I usually just remove any excess liquid by pushing the corner of a kleenex into the open end of the atty and let it sit over night. I check the atty with a multimeter and if the reading is still viable 1.7-2.4 (depending on the atty). if the reading is still good I just put it aside for a rest well earned and put it back into use when I need to 'rest' another atty. over all atties are disposable, they can last a couple weeks or a few months. Batteries usually last several months depending on amount of use. For me I usually have 4 batteries I cycle through (no particular order)
  17. quite the steal at that price. Are you the 1 bid??? if not only 2 days left. I would offer to get that for you but.......um....the check would bounce. And my husband might question the purchase.
  18. The Great part about the ego is the versatility. No matter which kit you start with, ego or ego tank, you can also get cartomizers, atomizers (recommend the LR) or the tank atty/carts. The only way to find what works best for you is going to try each and see what you like best. The LR atomizers (not the tank) is best for dripping. For me anyway, dripping gives me the best throat hit and the best flavor, but I love the tank for times when dripping is difficult (driving, movies, work). Mostly, how many parts you are able to play with depends on budget..... as far as the 30ml goes, it really is very dependent on individual use. I use 1-2 ml/day (depending on the day). I go through about 40-50mls/month.
  19. Personally my favorite coffee flavoring is coffee espresso My link flavourart from freedom smoke usa. It mixes really well with the tiramisu and apple pie flavorings. currently using: 2 ml 36mg unflavored 1ml Tiramisu flavoring or apple pie flavoring .5 ml Esprsso .5ml marshmallow (PA or Lorann) 3 drops menthol flavoring a bit of caramel flavoring mixes well with apple pie too. I haven't really liked any of the coffee flavors by themselves. The espresso however, does mix well with other flavors. also good with mint chocolate flavoring from flavor west . you could also use it to spice up any premixed flavors. Hope that helps a bit. DIY is a lot of trial and error. but once you find the flavors that work best for you it really is great.
  20. I know more about electronics than I ever thought I would. It really used to make my brain hurt trying to figure it all out. I even learned how to use a multimeter in the process. I know for a fact every time I pull out the charge card I may lose a few more brain cells, but my hubby gets a few more grey hairs. 2 years later I still find 'lost' lighters in coat pockets and squirreled away in corners. I really don't miss having a cigarette ready to go and nothing to light it with.......
  21. manual really is better !!! you will love it, and dripping won't kill the batteries.
  22. sorry, not had a problem with that--except for allergies. Maybe things are starting to clear out, kinda like the lungs...
  23. You will be just fine !!! did you get manual or automatic with the ego and 510?? Using liquid for dripping or cartomizers or tanks is so much better !!! waiting is always soooo hard
  24. The only way to find your sweet spot is to try all the different combinations. Looking forward to hearing how things work for you
