as a DIYer......I would consider making your own. if this is not a path you want to take, most vendors would be happy to discuss the ingredients with you. unfortunately most flavorings used do have some PG and many actually contain alcohol. researching the flavorings would be your best bet. not sure there is enough research on this to be beneficial to you. sorry can't be more help. I looks like these guys use natural and VG for their flavorings...... http://www.virginvapor.com/pages/frequently-asked-questions#

Vivi Nova replacement coils changed?
kitsune replied to mcquinn's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Ya, I've use both and I agree, I like the ones with the center post a bit more. I did find the ones without the center post do better with fruit type flavors as far as harshness. didn't have any particular problem with leaking though. Been sticking to kanger alot more these days. Brian sent me a aspire CE-5S bottom dual coil tank....I must admit, I am really liking these, had it about a month, hardly use my vivi nova anymore. -
If it was working before you took the tank off and you have tried a new tank(coil).....first clean the threads on the battery and on the tank, sometimes it really is that simple. sometimes if the tank gets screwed on a bit too tight the center pin on the tank gets pushed in a bit as mentioned by Aquatroy.

Welcome !! sorry, not going to be much help in the mod question. finding your sweet spot is a journey. after 4 years and lots of hardware, I went back to simple. vision spinner or ego twist and kanger tanks. My real sweet spot is dripping.

many vendors offer free shipping over a certain amount. vapor talk store has free shipping on orders over 50.00. stock is still a bit limited, but they are currently working on it. veteran vaper is free for orders over 75.00. their shipping is reasonable. There are more, but those are the 2 that come to mind off the top off my head

Welcome !!! the vapor talk store is having a great sale. This is a very nice unit to start with: http://www.vaportalkstore.com/product-p/evod-starter-kit-silver.htm VT also has some great liquids !!

I'm all for a good party !!! I have a few extra rooms here in colorado......plus a nice big basement....I'm just saying... congrats !! 8 months is incredible and feels amazing. especially when you realize you will never smoke again because you don't want to. The FDA has no idea how large the vaping underground could become. I have the trenchcoat....just need to sew in some extra pockets

Welcome !!! very glad you are giving vaping a try. it will take a bit for your mouth and body to settle down. with your protank....did you ever check to see if the coil was too loose. it usually comes out of the package a bit loose and can loosen each time the bottom piece is removed to add liquid.

What creates a less pull 2.5 ohm coils or 1.8 ohm coils?
kitsune replied to Patricia's topic in General Vaping Discussion
it actually sounds like the air holes on the tank are getting blocked. when you have the tank on the battery, loosen the tank a 1/2 turn or so, that should open the air holes a bit better. if gently blowing through the tank when its off the battery, then the coil itself isn't blocked. sometimes, if loosening the tank doesn't work, then the coil itself can be blocked. the lower resistance results in the coil burning hotter, resulting in the liquid heating quicker and adds to a warmer vapor. -
I have had the dekang RY4 and never had that problem. liquids come from all over these days, many make their own. but, like food, there are many likes, dislikes and reactions, depending on the person. nothing is added to the liquids to affect cigarettes (yes the dekang liquids have been tested). another flavor or brand might work better for you. you can always ask the shop what liquids they use or if they make their own. personally, I stay away from tobacco flavors....they don't taste right to me. However, I personally much prefer vaping to smoking....mind you its been 4.5 years for me, so its the memory of smoking. I really, really don't miss the nasty taste of tobacco, I have tried it since I quit smoking and given my choice I will stick with vaping. BTW...I was like you, just looking for something to use when I couldn't smoke. I quit smoking the day I started vaping.

they are working on some changes and will soon be expanding. currently the stock is a bit limited, but the sale right now is really good. the link I posted was for the kanger evod system, kanger is good. as you are looking at products, Ego is still one of the biggest battery manufacturers. the Evod batteries and Ego batteries are essentially the same and compatible with the same products.

Welcome !! data is still out on the actual effects of e cigs. but consensus is that we feel significantly better than we did when we were smoking. you will probably have to do a bit of research to figure out what kind of device you would like to start with.....unfortunately, there are many choices available. you may want to find a vendor a bit closer, the shipping costs and time for delivery will be a bit better. the UK has a vendor I used when I first started vaping. Am not certain which vendors are still around in the area however. if you are interested in ordering from the US we have some great vendors. http://www.vaportalkstore.com/product-p/evod-starter-kit-silver.htm The Vapor talk store is having a great sale. this kit is a great place to start. Not sure how much shipping will be to india however.

I agree with Havamal. if you have just recently stopped smoking, its going to take a bit for tastebuds to catch up. quitting smoking will lead to many changes in your body. keep in mind, even though you are getting nicotine....its only a small portion of the many chemicals found in cigarettes.

Really REALLY strange question about using cold devices
kitsune replied to spydre's topic in General Vaping Discussion
personally, i like most of my tanks best at lower settings. I find at 3.7 +, I frequently get burned taste. The cold shouldn't have made a difference. could be the voltage is off on the new battery.... -
Most of the flavorings I use are alcohol based.....oil based flavorings are hard on the heating elements. I have never had any reaction to the alcohol in the flavoring. like I said, most if not all is burnt off(evaporates) when vaped. alcohol evaporates at 160 -170 degrees....never measured the heat on the coil, but I would think the coil is plenty hot enough. plus we are talking about small amounts of alcohol, not a flambe dessert.
-
You have inspired me to start experimenting again. I've gotten a bit complacent and just mixing my favorite flavors. Thanks for sharing
-
Many of the flavorings used in e liquid do have a some alcohol in them, a major portion of that alcohol would be burned off by the heating element. the same flavorings are used in everyday products we eat and drink....you shouldn't have any problems.

Where to buy a direct dripping atty
kitsune replied to Grant951's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Or http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.browse&category_id=64 http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.browse&category_id=64 I like the 306's for testing flavors, easier to clean between flavors. but 510's works too. all personal preference. either way, you will need a drip tip for either of them. -
Like mentioned above....PG and nic are options. other options include... 1..adding a few drops of menthol to your liquids, small amount will add a bit of throat hit without tasting like menthol. 2. using a variable voltage battery (I currently use the ego twist and spinner), adjusting to a higher voltage will also add throat hit.
-
I mostly use ecig express. DIY flavor shack is good too. once you find the flavors you like you can buy cheaper and larger volume from the manufacturer......i.e. flavor west, perfumers apprentice, lorann etc.

Welcome !!! When I started vaping, there was very little available in the US, I spent a lot of time on UK forums. Your english is better than many.
