I second Brian--You may not want to start mixing with 100mg/ml--really is pretty toxic. For me I vape 18mg, so I usually mix with 36mg. so much easier to 1/2 the amount. I also have some 100mg/ml--but mix with it using extreme caution as nicotine is absorbed through the skin. i.e.: 5ml of 36 mg flavored or unflavored, PG or VG base 3 ml of flavoring (I like strong flavor) 2ml of PG or VG (without nicotine) Total = 18mg of whatever flavor I am making. The same principle applies when using flavored liquids. I will often buy 36-48mg of flavored liquid, dilute it and add additional flavoring.

Unfortunately, it sounds like it could be dead. definitely try cleaning the connections. I have had batteries last a few weeks to a few months. Many vendors offer a 30 day return policy--can always contact the vendor. Sounds like its time for some new batteries..... The ego batteries have a much more reliable battery life and can be used with your 510 atomizers or cartomizers.

I'm like Brian. Just clean then out with hot water in between uses. The PG/VG/unflavored nic, I don't worry so much about coming into contact with each other. Just try to keep my flavors separated. I use 1ml syringes with a blunt tip needle. sometimes I will just use hot water to rinse out between flavors. Merry mixing !!!

Very glad you are enjoying vaping. It really is a life changing experience !!! My husband and kids love the fact that I no longer stink of smoke. I love being able to vape where ever and when ever I want. stealth vaping is miraculous.

Dripping really does make a difference. I keep trying different things, but I always end up returning to dripping. For me anyway--ego + LR 510 atty + drip trip = sweet spot The Tank is my back up for driving and such. I find the fruit type flavors seem to come through a bit on the tank. The only way to find the sweet spot is try different vaping models and methods.

Mods are great and so many choices. But the Ego is still amongst the most reliable. If you go with the kit you will get the ego charger. The ego charger charges a bit faster than the 510 charger. word of warning: not supposed to use the ego charger with the 510, can burn out the battery. but you can use the 510 charger on the ego, just takes longer to charge. The kit would be the most cost effective, but you can buy pieces at a time if budget is short. the ego works with 510 atomizers/cartomizers. @ soso-- The 510's aren't bad units. New batteries do last a few hours, but the battery life drops off quickly. Honestly, I really loved my 510's, but the ego has more reliable battery life. the 900mah ego gets me through a 12 hour shift. There were times I would need 3-4 510 batteries to get through a shift. It all boils down to whats working for you !!!

LOL !!!! We all learn eventually. I was the same with my 510's, couldn't imagine giving them up and now they are my remote backups !!! The Ego really is that good. Ego + LR atty +Drip tip = sweet spot

Welcome !!! Glad to have you with us. Your battery will good on the charger, won't damage your battery. I tend to leave mine on over night and have never had a problem. This really is a great a place to hang out and share information

mixing is alot of fun and so many flavors to create. I first started with adding flavor to premixed flavors (still do), sometimes mix from scratch. Just depends on how much time and energy I have. I really love FlavourArt (freedomsmoke usa or ecig express) --apple pie, tiramisu, coffee espresso and menthol. Flavor West (Eliquid store)--chocolate mint and sugar cookie. a lot of trial and error is involved with mixing. Like Rok said--start with small amounts !!! I am still flavor challenged 2 years later. can taste food etc just fine--vaping, I need lots of flavor. Merry Mixing

exactly what mcquinn said.... have you tried direct dripping yet??? it really is easy and avoids the hassel of filling and refilling carts. no filler to deal with. Over all I find dripping gives better flavor and vapor. worth a try...

Honestly, I have noticed the same thing. My Ego 900mah last much longer than my 900mah mod batteries.

You should be ok with your liquid strength. I use the same strength with standard and LR. I just find I take a shorter draw with the LR's. All about trial and error and then one day you will find the sweet spot and vaping is bliss.

To the best of my knowledge you can't buy these separately. They are sold with the Tank Carts as a cap. Not sure why you only received 2. Each of the Tank carts I have ordered come with the rubber cap. You could always try to email the vendor you purchased from and ask if you could possibly get some for the rest of the carts.......

sounds like you are getting things figured out. It really is confusing with so many pieces and part. You should be good if you order the 510 T carts and eGo T atomizer. The 510 T can be used on the eGo. The tank carts however are not interchangeable. I promise it will all begin to make sense !!! As you have found out -- The eGo is compatible with 510 atomizers, cartomizers and Tanks (can't fit the cone over the 510 T--have to use without the cone) It was much easier when I started--only a few options available--made shopping much less confusing.

It really does boil down to personal preference. I use 100% PG with nicotine and add VG for diluting/mixing. There really isn't a right or wrong. I prefer throat hit and flavor (PG) to vapor production (VG). <BR><BR>You could always get 1 pg and 1 vg and mix as you want......

let us know how it works. I use mostly the same method as chesyl-the only thing I do different is I use a q-tip to wipe down the inside of the cone and around the heating element. but I too add a couple drop directly to the heating element before attaching the tank/cart. I have also found if it doesn't seem to be hitting quite right, if I pull the cart back and push back in it helps the liquid wick. I think sometimes the liquid just gets stuck and stops wicking well.
