Ya, My VP-PT comes in at 5.2 and my other passthrough comes in at 5.5.

Vaping does require a bit of trial and error. The learning curve comes and goes. Just when you think you have the hang of it...... All I can say is vaping is soooo much better than smoking !!!

Philip Morris Ceo Says Smoking Is Not Hard To Quit
kitsune replied to Beans's topic in General Vape News
Cigarettes really aren't hard to quit---I think I quit at least 20-30 times.......Before I found vaping. Its's the staying quit that is the problem... -
Yes diluting is easy to do. you can use a similar flavor or even combine with a different flavor. For a quick fix- until you can get some lower nicotine liquid ( really recommend VT store--great flavors and quality). You can get some glycerin from any local pharmacy (even walmart). pharmaceutical grade glycerin, usually sold in the form of skin protectant, works great. it's a Vegetable glycerine and has a slightly sweet taste. I know, I know-- 'skin protectant'--but glycerin has many, many, many uses and one of them is vaping. Using VG will dilute your flavor a bit, but it will dilute the nicotine a bit. If you are getting a 'buzz', The nicotine strength may be a bit much. I currently love 18mg/ml, was a 1 1/2 pack smoker. BTW: Congrats on your new VT banner !!! 1 day and change.

I'm sorry you are still having trouble. Sounds like you are doing everything right. have you tried dripping?? do you still cough?? 2 things I am thinking of: 1st, the filler in the cartomizers?? 2nd, type of atomizer. you may needs an atomizer that doesn't burn as hot. something like the dse 901. I know liberty flights sells them. different threat than the ego. so need 901 battery and atomizer. They sell the riva 901--same battery life as the ego, but uses the 901 atomizer. I know you are frustrated, but don't give up, I know there is a solution (somewhere).

I have an 2000mA USB adapter wall plug that came with my VP-PT, the VP-PT comes with a nice long cord. I have 2 5v passthroughs, I don't use either with my computer. even have a 2000mA car adapter.

I don't know that there is a set number of times. basically, if the cap gets a bit loose, I go ahead and change it out.
-
I found that one the other day too. Haven't had a chance to really look at it, but looks like some good recipes.
-
It's just from contact with the atomizer and heat. I haven't noticed any adverse effects from the liquid as it gets darker.
-
Could be a flooded atty. have you tried blowing it out and then redripping 3-4 drops to the atomizer??? or could just be a bad atty....the vendor I am sure would replace it. I am really glad things are working well for you over all. Vaping really is an amazing experience. I still love trying new flavors

Haven't fried my LR yet anyway. don't use it all the time, mostly just in the evening. much lighter draw with more kick. living on the edge.....or just luck..... I gave my standard tank atty to a friend in need and only had the LR, soooo....figured I would try it on my VP-PT.. and, so far so good
-
I have had minimal leakage over all with my tanks but a couple tips I can think of: 1. try making sure the cartridge portion is lower than the battery when resting. 2. If you notice a bit of leaking--unscrew the atomizer and battery, wipe down both connections and reattach. Have you changed cartridges?? BTW--Welcome !!!

sorry, not much help with that model. mostly a 510/eGo person. really hope somebody has an answer for you soon.

That little one is soooo adorable and dang........ Chris--need to start training the little one now !!! Never too young for DDR.
-
I Think you will love it. I promise it won't be the last device you decide to get--so many cool toys. If budget allows--order an Lr atomizer and/or some cartomizers. gives you some extra bits to play with as you begin this wonderful new hobby. P.S.--don't forget extra liquid !!
-
Need to order the 510 tank atty and cartridges. should work with all 510's. We all try different makes, models and methods to figure out what works best for us. sorry the tobacco flavor isn't working for you. as far as flavor--as you continue vaping you will find your taste buds will change and flavors will change with them.

I use the LR tank on my 5v VP-PT and love it !!!
-
When you plug the case in---do any of the lights turn on???? normally the bottom light is the case--but it's been a long time since I have use a PCC. Honestly--charge the case for 3-4 hours and pop in a battery that needs charging and see if it works..... not sure what type of charger you have, but , my experience with 510's----all my 510's, joye or other fit all my 510 chargers...... Maybe check with Chris--he or the staff would know for sure.

You will find we all have our own opinions when it comes to dripping, tanks, atomizers and cartomizers, but, the one thing we will all agree on is the eGo. Best battery life. The higher the Mah the longer the battery. all the different ego sizes are the same diameter. The 900 and 1000mah will give you all day coverage. Now for my 2 cents: My personal preference for throat hit, vapor production, flavor and consistencey is direct dripping--Lr atomizers. dripping does come with the draw back of having to add more liquid to the atomizer frequently. when I can't drip, I use the eGo tank--the tank carts hold a ml of liquid and requires less maintanence. For me the biggest draw back is lack of flavor with the tank. eGo tank kit (900 or 1000 mah) + LR tank + tank cartridges + liquid + LR atomizer--could give you a very nice start. backups, backups, backups(as the budget allows of course) No matter where you start you will try a little bit of everything over time. You will love vaping !!!

The nice thing about the ego and 510 batteries is they are interchangeable with atomizers (not the tanks). Initially there are so many options to try. honestly, they easiest way is to jump..... If you start with the ego tank system (get extra tank cartridges), you can also get the 510 atomizers which are interchangeable with the ego batteries and the 510 batteries. I believe the 510 and egos still require a different charger. i.e.--can charge a 510 batt only with a 510 charger, but can charge an ego on either charger--just takes longer to charge with the 510 charger. The only draw back to the 510's is the battery life, but I still loved my 510's in the beginning. But now, I only use the egos due to the much longer battery life. less parts to carry with me when I am out. Honestly, go with which ever one you think will work for you. If you start with the 510's, you can upgrade to the ego easily. the batteries work with the 510 atomizers. What you need: If you go with the Ego tank kit--extra tank cartridges, extra liquid, can even get an atomizer and or cartomizer to see what you like best. If you go with the 510 kit or 510 tank-- doesn't hurt to get extra batteries. and atomizers or tank atomizers. and of course extra liquid. No matter which way, backups are good. batterys, atomizers, tanks, liquid, chargers...... as you move along with vaping you try many makes and models. Start with the kits and just add as you go...... You will be fine not matter which way you decide to go !!! I guarantee, you will own many pieces and parts in the next few months.

How To Choose All-In-One Electronic Cigarette
kitsune replied to Francifighter's topic in New Vapers Forum
Great tips for those just starting out. Great Job !! -
ms T's bakery also has some great flavors. most are made when they are ordered so shipping time is a bit longer. My link I liked the kahlua and coffee...
-
sometimes the atty's take a bit of breaking in. carts do have a bit of trouble keeping up with the heating element, the more you vape, the more you will have to top off. may want to look at the ego or 510 tank system or cartomizers--last a bit longer. have you tried dripping the tobacco flavor directly to the atomizer--reattach cart and see if that helps with the throat hit. sometimes it's just the liquid. what strength are you using??
-
I mostly direct drip and haven't noticed any difference in atomizer life. usually last me 2-4 weeks. When I can't drip, I use the ego tank. my preference however is dripping. as you move along the vaping curve, you will try the different options available, just to see what works best for you. atomizers-dripping or cartridges, cartomizers, ego or 510 tank systems. many love cartomizers (atomizer and cartridge in one). Great for those times when dripping isn't convenient.
