Hey Linda. Liberty-Flights..UK, has many colors. Check out the link. http://www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=95 , They even have the pink. They also carry a cheaper version called the Riva. I have used Liberty Flights for a couple years and not had any problems. Pretty good selection.

Personally, i am a 5V vaper, just preference. I am an atomizer/dripper person. I usually use the standard 510 atomizers, before I use them I blow out the primer that is in all atomizers (not sure about cartomizers)...The primer is a very nasty taste. I also remove any wicking material from under the bridge...can also lead to burning taste. When I prime an atty I am using for the first time...I add 4 drops of liquid and then add a drop or 2 if needed. For me, dripping gives me the best flavor, throat hit and vapor when I am using 5v. I haven't had too much trouble with different liquids. I know there are vendors that sell HV liquids (not sure of names), but I just use standard liquids.

You can get pharmacy grade glycerin at just about any pharmacy. Its sold as a skin protectant....Walmart sells one called Humectant. I know, skin protectant just sounds wrong. but it really is nothing more than a vegetable glycerine (VG), If you taste it, its a bit sweet. You can also get a baking grade glycerin (also VG) from many hobby shops in the baking section. Both work great for diluting liquids....just remember, it will also dilute the flavor a bit.

Unfortunately there are those that need something to pick on....currently (among many) its smoking and anything remotely resembling smoking...ya, that means us. But, I am with you. Currently I am 2 1/2 years into vaping and have not smoked since I began this amazing journey. I smoked for 30 years and had quit quitting, that is, until I discovered vaping. No more short of breath, no more hacking up a lung several times a day, improved circulation, no more second hand smoke for my family/pets. The community has grown so much during the last couple years, our voice will become louder and louder !!!

Happy, Happy Thanksgiving !!! I am especially thankful for all the amazing folks at VT and all the incredible members. Happy vaping to all

Glad you will at least be getting the carts you paid for. At least this experience has brought you to vaping and the forum. -

Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping. LF is a great place. I have been using them for the last couple years..for me, I was excited when they opened a dealer in the US. Can not go wrong with Ego !! LF sells a product called the Riva...Ego Replication. I haven't heard much bad about the Riva..and its a bit cheaper. With the Ego or the Riva...compatible with 510 atomizers, 510 Tanks, 510 Cartomizers. As you move along, you will end up trying different combinations of equipment until you find your sweet spot...trial and error. We all have our own personal preferences. Mine is the EGO Or Riva Battery + 510LR Atomizer + Drip tip = my sweet spot. Many love cartomizers.... As far as liquids: Usually start with flavors you like, buy 5-10ml sizes until you find the ones you really do like, then buy in larger quantities. nicotine strength starting out usually 18 and/or 24 mg is a good place to start. At least you have been researching !!!

Welcome to the absolutely wonderful, inventive and crazy world of Vaping. Only another vaper can truly understand our struggles and our triumphs!!! I couldn't have survived without the help all the wonderful people on the forum. Prior to vaping I had never read a forum, let alone actually posted on one. I'm really glad you are staying with it

For me, I had no problem with the flavor initially. but after a week or so the flavors would begin to drop off. I still like the take systems for when I am on the go and can't drip. I also find different flavors work better with different devices/setups.

OK, Ive been playing with the 510-t and a drip tip. Mind you, this is only after a few hours. It actually works great. Only use one drop at a time...good for about 4-5 hits...2 drops has a tendency to leak. Disadvantage....have to drip more often Advantage...More like dripping to a bridge-less 510 atomizer. no burning taste as the liquid gets low. BTW--been using the 510-T + dripping with the butterscotch (Clouds of Vapor) = Yummy !!!

Hey Linda, Stick with the Ego batteries...They are really the most dependable. You will find them in different 'strengths', from 650 to 1100mah. The higher the mah the longer the battery will last between charges. All the Ego batteries are 3.7 V. The higher the mah also means the battery size will be longer. The 650 for me lasts any where from 6-8 hours. the 900mah will last me all day. The Throat hit is influenced by the nicotine strength in the liquid. The higher the nicotine, the stronger the throat hit. usually 18mg or 24 mg does the trick for me. The atomizer also plays a roll....its a matter of trying a few options and finding what works best...The 510 LR atomizers give a bit of a better throat hit for me when used with drip tip for direct dripping. Alot of people swear by cartomizers. The battery is interchangeable with many atomizer options. So...my vote is EGO battery(Which you already have), 510 LR Atomizer and drip tip.......

Hey !!! You can drip to the 510 tank atty, Just 1 drop and place the tank back on, you can even use the drip tip with it....again, just one drop. Its better to use the tank as a tank.... Then again, I may play with some more...I have some 510 tanks that aren't working great, May try dripping..... Dripping does work best with the standard or the LR 510 atomizers....no reason you can't play with it.

Hey LindaBird !! Getting started and finding the right combination is always such a huge challenge !!! once you get the hang of things you will find vaping is really amazing. I'm going to throw my 2 cents into the hat.... Me personally, my sweet spot is the Ego battery+510LR(Low resistance) atomizer+drip tip. I always get the best throat hit, vapor and flavor with dripping. some find dripping to be a hassle, but once you get the hang of it, it works great (for me anyway). When I am out and about, I use the 510 Tanks(smaller version of the ego tank) with my ego Battery. I have had the same problem you are having with both the ego and 510 tanks (less so with the 510's) two things to try with ego tank cartridges: 1. only fill the tanks about 3/4 full, don't fill all the way to the top..seems to wick better. 2. using a very small pain of scissors or knife(very small). Gently insert the tip of the scissors or knife into the small opening of the tank to remove any excess rubber from the area the atomizer punctures the tank.......clear as mud? Tanks are never my first choice for vaping....they are great in theory and when the work, they work great, but as you are finding, can be hit and miss. All 510 atomizers, tanks, cartomizers etc will fit the ego battery. You will end up trying many different systems and combinations until you find the right combination. I have dealt with http://www.liberty-flights.co.uk/ in the UK and always had great products and service. They carry a bit of everything. Just remember you Ego battery will work with many different vaping options. I know your head is swimming, but I promise, it is well worth it !!!!

DIY still remains my passion and obsession. Common sense always has to prevail. The last 2 1/2 years have brought so many changes.....its worse than computer technology (for me anyway). Currently I still stick to those vendors I have been using since (almost) the beginning of my vaping adventure. When I first started vaping, the selection and vendors was very simple and very few, now, new stuff is popping up at every corner. I figure, I might as well stick with what works for me. I still love mixing almost as much as I love vaping.

I will be interested to see if they really work any better. For me, I use the 510 tanks with the ego battery (less leakage for some reason), when I am driving for any distance or if I am in a situation that makes dripping difficult (movies etc). Will be interested in any advancement in the tanks. apparently you will be the test subject Jeff......

Like Chris and BirdDog already said.....its ok to add a couple drops here and there, but dripping the 510 T is not the same as dripping to a 510 atomizier. Mind you, I have never used the 510-T for strictly dripping, but the overall atomizer is a bit different. Do you have some 510 tank cartridges??? sometimes I will drip to the 510 tank atomizer just to kick things up a bit, but i don't use the drip tip with it.....
