For me the Ego T is very good on vapor, but the flavor would die out very quickly, still not sure why. You can try adding a drip of liquid to the heating element and reattach the tank and see if that will kick start it. I love my Ego. I am mostly an atomizer/dripper. for me its the best flavor and vapor all the way around. I use the Tube Tank for when I am out and about. but even with The Tube tank the flavor dies out, but gives great vapor and throat hit, so works great for out and about. Atomizers are still considered disposable. I always keep several on hand. They do seem to hit differently from atomizer to atomizer, but with dripping the difference is less significant. Sorry you lost your good atomizer.

Wow !!! I'm glad you are ok. hope you washed them out really, really, really well. I fortunately have not had that happen.

Very glad things are working....getting started is the only way to get past the overwhelming part...Then begins the search for new devices and toys !!!

honestly, I don't find DIY very difficult. It does take a bit of patience initially until you get the hang of things. One you get the hang of vaping, Mixing is fun to give a try. Not quite as simple as mixing with mt dew...sugars are bad to mix with. We do use food flavorings. This will give you some DIY starting points. I do recommend for any body wanting to try DIY, to get the hang of vaping first

Yes. You can use the 510 tank + 510 Tank atty on that device. Like these... 510-T atomizer... http://www.forevervapor.com/joye-510-t/joye-510-t-atomizer/ And the 510-T Tanks..... http://www.forevervapor.com/joye-510-t/joye-510-t-cartridges/ You can get these from many vendors. Forever Vapor has decent prices.

I feel the same way about mixing....I love making the flavors taste the way I want. BTW...Been playing with Flavor west Butterscotch that I got from ecig express....OMG !!! I think I am in love. Been adding it to some coffee flavors I have and it tastes much like werthers. Will post a recipe when I finish playing with it.

Looked like a nice unit. especially if it can be converted to 510 for easy access to various vaping options. Ya, I know, I'm a 510 person....

Sorry PocketPlayer, but you lost me too....

Are the Boge Leos as 510 Thread ??? @willmon....If they are a 510 thread then any 510 or ego atomizer, cartomizer or tank will work with it. The 510 passthrough you were looking at will work as a passthrough (hooked to computer) or be able to be used on the go. Any type of device that works as a passthrough and stand alone is great....you can even get a usb/car adapter and use it while it charges in your car.

@Breal...Yup, Thats mostly it. Good to have some small bottles for mixing small amounts until you get the right flavor. Can measure using drops or a blunt needle and syringe. Mixing guide for more info if you want: Your students don't need to know they don't have your full attention...... @ Mega....I add a bit of menthol to almost all of my mixes. Just a little adds a bit of cool throat hit and enhances the flavor, without the menthol flavor. (was never a menthol smoker). Good with just about any flavor....come to think of it, I don't think I have found a flavor it doesn't work with.

Thats the one....I really like it !!! If you get that one, you also want the Tube sock...its a metal piece that fits between the ego and the tube tank to give it a flush look. fits a tiny bit loose on the ego, easily fixed with a small o ring or orthodontic rubber band (thank goodness for kids). Link to a review I did on it. Really does work well with my ego.

That type of Tank system can also be used with the Ego. The Top Pic is an Ego type battery with the Tube Tank from Volcano Ecig. The Tank holds about 3ml of liquid. The bottom pic is an Ego with 510 atomizer. (about the size of a Sharpie) Vaping for me, is sooooo much better than smoking. The flavor choices are way better.

PG is better for flavor and throat hit, VG is better for vapor production. Most enjoy a combination of PG and VG.

If at all possible, keep looking. Not saying its a bad product, just saying, there are products out there with much better versatility. Personally I vote looking into the Ego or 510's. The parts are interchangeable and can be purchase from many vendors. Not limited to buying refill carts, much better flavor selection out there. Just glad you are looking at vaping options. BTW... Welcome !!!!

I was checking out the site, nice selection. Some great flavors. I'm currently using ecig express. but will have to check out one stop DIY. Hopefully soon I will have some new recipes, I am hoping to have some mixing time next week. Have some new flavors to play with. Glad you are liking mixing.

@ Breal: Many flavors are mixed with more than one flavoring...not sure what is causing the nutty flavor....could be adding a bit of tobacco flavoring which usually has some kind of nutty flavoring. PG and VG don't really taste like much on their own. possible the nicotine....? I use alot of coffee based flavors so covers the nutty flavor, not to mention I like my flavors pretty strong so that will cover most background flavors.

I too am a boring vaper.... Ego, 510 atomizers, dripping. My only VV is the turbo by vaprlife....been using it for about a year. Just started using the Tube Tank for Volcano...http://www.volcanoecigs.com/tube-tank-1.html Other than that, I have become pretty set in my equipment. Great thread though....get to see what others are in to.
-
I am really glad you are getting things figured out....it does sometimes take a while to find the right combination. Sorry, Not much help on the VG liquids...I use pretty much all PG.
-
Welcome !!! I'm from Parker, Just recently moved, but left my kids to defend themselves against the snow. Hope you like it here.
-
Welcome !!! How long have you been vaping?
-
What is M-Type? looking at the site, I don't see a description..... Glad you are sharing your recipes...I love new ideas.
-
Dripping is a must when trying new flavors.....Want to know if you like or don't like before adding to a carto. If you don't like a flavor now, stick it on the back shelf and come back to it later...you will be amazed at how much your taste buds will change !!! If you still don't like it....There is always DIY to fix it up to your own taste.

Mixing really isn't very difficult. The trick is start small and just experiment. Cost varies alot depending on the volume of nicotine base and the strength of nicotine base you use. The larger the volume and higher the strength the greater the savings. However, the higher the strength the more dangerous it is to have around...... For me, I mostly stick to 36mg liquids and add flavorings and some PG/VG to cut to 18mg. so Savings for me is about 7 or 8 dollars per bottle. Most times these days, I just add flavoring to premixed flavored liquids.

You really are on a roll....Good thing you had a runny nose !!!
