Ya, well....I am fairly flavor challenged when it comes to vaping. I can taste food fine...just not vaping liquids. I like lots of flavor. No name, just apple pie.....

That why I love this forum....I can shout about new products, things that work or don't work. Connect with people that understand what I am going through. 2 years later, vaping is still a focal point in my life and I still love it...on the forum I get to shout from the roof tops. -
@ Breal...you need to look at getting a 510 or 306 atomizer for dripping...makes trying out new flavors much easier, when you get a flavor you really like....than add to the cartomizer. less waste and you not stuck with a flavor you don't like.

Flavour art makes a product called flash. I got some from ecig express. Been playing with it a bit, currently the jury is out. currently I am getting inconsistent throat hit while using this with 0mg liquid. no throat hit to harsh throat hit and everything in between. I don't recommend vaping straight alcohol...but I hadn't heard that a small amount would be that bad. At least no worse than the flavorings we use in the liquids, many of them have an alcohol base.......

Its kinda nice being able to see the products in person and actually taste a flavor before you buy. saved my a few buck...tried a couple flavors that sounded good, but didn't taste so good. Plus I like the idea of having a shop close, just in case of emergency..... Using the tank on my ego is pretty close to using my 5V + really consistant throat hit, vapor and flavor.

Another way to say 36mg -
Update: After a month of using the Tube tank fairly regularly, I still love it. The only setup I have used longer than a month is Dripping. I still alternate between dripping and my Tube tank. absolutely no leakage, great vapor and throat hit. decent flavor. Then again, nothing beats dripping for flavor. When I am out an about, I don't want something that is too big. I love the size of the Tank and works with my ego batteries. I like the tube sock, gives the device a flush look. I can honestly recommend this tank. I just put in my second cartomizer, the first one lasted about a month...the 1st one didn't die...just became hard to draw and at 2.99 for extra cartomizers, a month is pretty good. The only drawback is filling the tank...easiest with a needle and syringe or needle tip bottle cap. Hard to fill all the way by dripping into the tank.

Glad you fixed your banner...you will be amazed at how much you will save in the end. I spent alot the first 6 months....went a bit vape crazy !!! Currently I keep my spending to 1/2 of what I would be spending smoking. I know for a fact I would still be smoking if I hadn't found vaping. Currently in Hawaii, a pack of cigarettes is 8-9$ per pack....carton is 75.00. Gives me a decent working budget for vaping toys and necessary supplies. I love my banner !!!

Look at it this way...you can invest in the hardware. And try a few liquids until you find what you like. Like Viper Ron posted...3ml sizes or even 5ml. No the nicotine does not affect taste. Flavors are great, even at 0 nic. as far as hardware...Not sure if you are set on the 510 or not. The 510 has a fairly short use time between charges--couple hours. If you look into the ego, it has a much longer use time between charges. The ego is a bit fatter...about the size of a standard sharpie. The 900Mah ego battery with atomizer or cartomizer is almost exactly the same size (width and Length) of a sharpie. Ego come in various Mah---650 - 1100. The lower the Mah, the shorther the battery and the shorther the use time between charges.

You could always try one of these.....small, portable backup battery charger....I couldn't survive without mine these days...mostly use it for my phone/ipod on long plane trips. Would work for any type of USB device. http://www.amazon.com/New-Trent-IMP500-External-Blackberry/dp/B0013G8PTS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1329931867&sr=8-3 http://www.amazon.com/Satechi-Portable-Extended-Blackberry-Playbook/dp/B005HJU068/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1329932146&sr=8-23 http://www.amazon.com/Original-High-capacity-Portable-Ericsson-Blackberry/dp/B006M8K89W/ref=sr_1_45?ie=UTF8&qid=1329932266&sr=8-45

mmmmm steak !!! If it tastes good, its probably bad for you....I eat lots of things that taste good....food will probably kill me before nicotine does. -
I am in no way a carto expert....others will be along soon. It does sound like its too dry. Try adding liquid a few drops at a time to the filler, let settle....keep adding until the filler is wet again.

I agree with Uma. Cinnamon or menthol at 0 mg does have throat hit, just not as strong as with nicotine. We do have many vapers that are happy at 0 mg. Did you go to a kiosk or shopping on-line? We have many great vendors on-line (probably cheaper), that sell 0mg without hassel. If you do decide to try the 0mg also order a low nicotine (8mg) just in case. With your Asthma, I would maybe consider VG base (vegetable Glycerin)...PG can cause coughing in some people. Nicotine is least of the problems with smoking. With asthma it is more the carbon monoxide, Tar and Burning material that cause the biggest problem.

Keep in mind, most every thing we eat, drink and breathe is slowly killing us in one way or another....My goal is to enjoy what ever time I've got !!! -
The one thing I have found....as soon as I have found a flavor I love, I have to tinker with it a bit more. My taste buds seem to get bored easily !!! Heres one of my go to favorites 2.5ml PG(or VG) 36mg 1.5ml Flavour Art apple pie .2 ml Flavour Art Coffee espresso .2 Marshmallow (Perfumers Apprentice or Lorann) .3 Cinnamon (FlavourArt or Perfumers Apprentice) Figured it might fit in the bakery.....

Lots in the UK also, Not sure if that helps.

I still use mostly 18-24 mg, It is just a preference. I can vape 0 nic without cravings or increase in my vaping, but nicotine add the throat hit, and for me, thats the best part. I find I don't worry too much about the nicotine, it really is the least harmful part of smoking. Someday, maybe...currently It works and I love it. Been close to 3 years for me. -
Congrats Bob !!! That is one bad *** Mod, Really useful is so many situations.

Vaping comes with a bit of learning curve. have to play and experiment to find what works best for you. Glad things are good so far. If you run into trouble, just ask.

We all have our chain vaping days....or months..... What strength are you using? -
There will be others that can give some tobacco recommendations. I haven't used tobacco flavors for a long time now. I love DIY. Been playing with it since I first started vaping a couple years ago.
