Got my newest shipment from vaporkings. I really do like these things. after not using one for the last few weeks, it was a very nice change from dripping and using my Tube Tank. These are the new ones with the silver pin in the rubber cap. Heads up...... filled mine up last night, no problem. Great throat hit and great flavor. This morning before I left for work, I topped it off for my 12 hour shift. On the way to work, I game it a few gently shakes to get the new liquid mixed in....next think I know the whole thing is empty...liquid from window to window and splattered all over my scrubs. Took me a bit to figure it out....but the center pin/rubber cap got pushed down a bit leaving a gap between the rubber cap and the mouth piece = liquid spilling all over...... Gently pulled back up a bit and business as usual. no more leaks, no more trouble. As a side funny note....all morning, people would walk into the nurses station, start sniffing and say ' who has maple syrup?' I kept my mouth shut..... BTW, the flavor was butterscotch...but on my scrubs, did smell like maple syrup.

Welcome !!! I am one of the few that is fortunate enough to have a shop near by. Most shops do let you sample (If you can get to one). I still prefer The Vaportalk line of liquids. You will find the liquids that work for you, Trying new flavors is 1/2 the fun.

Morning all....finally have a day off and its cloudy and is supposed to rain. It was sunny and gorgeous all day yesterday while I was at work, I swear its a universe conspiracy. On a bright note, my VT 306's are waiting for me at the post office !!! Thank you Chris Ok, off to post office and they yoga. Maybe the sun will come out later....

1 ego batt + 306 atomizer for dripping 2 3ml bottles different flavors for dripping or emergency tank fill 1 ego batt + ego clearomizer or Tube tank (which ever is handiest and has the most liquid) This is what I take out for 3 hours or 12 hours (work) That being said...I also carry in my truck an emergency battery, charger and atomizers (backups, backups, backups)

Ordering more !!! I really do like them. They do seem to bog down a bit with the darker thicker liquids, but a good rinse and it was good to go. I got about 3 weeks out of mine. I can live with that !!! I really like using these at work, I work 12 hour shifts and love the no fuss of it. Plus, I really love the flavor and throat hit remains so consistent . Thanks Jeff !!!

Like you, I have never really been able to make cartomizers work for me. One of the things I love about vaping is all the options available. We all have our personal preferences: I have really enjoyed both my ego elegance clearomizer http://www.ecigexpress.com/manager-s-specials-c-86/ego-elegance-clearomizer-1-6ml-vision-p-1255 They are currently out...hopefully somebody can help out with anybody that might have them in stock....I need more. Honestly....they easiest and most painless of the 2 is the ego elegance clearomizer. super easy to use and gives me the same throat hit, flavor and vapor as dripping. For the most part I am a die hard dripper...Its hard to beat the flavor and throat hit. The Tube tank works great....but since the center portion is a cartomizer, the flavor drops off a bit.

Drip shield and a new battery. Honestly, the drip shields look nice...but like, Mcquinn, For me the leaking isn't much. I only notice it if I drip too much or the battery is getting weak. Backups, backups, backups. I ordered extra batteries and atomizers every month for about the first year. Now I order a battery or 2 every couple months and a few extra atomizers each month.

The drip shields do look pretty nice...,but haven't bought one yet. some pretty good reviews on them. However, It is you battery. When the batteries get a bit older, as the charge starts to drop at the end, I have some more leakage too. switch out batteries and the leakage stops. It just doesn't burn the liquid quick enough when the battery isn't suppling enough power. Over time the charge time on the batteries begins to shorten.

Make sure to take the plastic cartomizer piece off the 306 (its a trap...it reallly isn't a cartomizer...just a clever disguise). Been the cause of several known cases of 'noob momentitis'.

/they really do sound like they are too dry. Have you tried pulling/prying the white cap off from the bottom of the carto. If filled, the white polly fill should look wet. doesn't sound like it should be a battery problem. Ego batteries are compatible with a lot of device options...tanks, cartos, atomizers etc.

Ya, I have to go with when my eyes are open. I don't have a single perfect time. There are times throughout the day when I get just an amazing hit with perfect throat hit, flavor and vapor. But not necessarily a certain time of day.

I really love this thread !! sitting here eating some pancakes and bacon...late lunch. The dogs have been going nuts with smell of bacon in the air...I mean really, what dog doesn't love bacon. anyway, getting down to the last few bites..saved them a bit of bacon, what would run through the dogs head if you gave them the pancake instead.... Talk about screwing with the taste buds. like picking up a cup that you think has soda in it and instead you get milk (really gross). I am pretty sure they would have plotted my death while I slept....
