I'm pretty sure we can talk about them being a smoking cessation devices....so long as the vendors don't advertise them as such. (if I'm wrong sombody will let me know) They have help all of us cut down or stop smoking. The FDA is a real pain in the @@@

Yes, if you blow the vapor into the detector....don't recommend it (no, I haven't tried it) I have vaped on many planes in the bathroom...I blow the vapor downward. I also hold the vapor a few extra seconds so I am not blowing clouds of vapor. Others blow it into their shirt or jacket.

Welcome !!! Very glad to have you with us. Sit back, relax and vape.

Bauway and joye LR....both have been really good.....neither were bridgeless however. but I love them.

You should be fine with it in you carry on, they may ask what it is, but thats it. I usually take my smaller vaping devices with me on the plane. If you do vape in the airport or on the plane....discretion is a must. Not worth getting in trouble over.

Curious About Wide Range Of Prices On Unflavored Nicotine.
kitsune replied to twelveday's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
I order from just a few sites. stick to what I know and trust. Cheap is sometimes great and sometimes not. I don't mind paying a bit more for trust. Prices do have a tendancy to vary, especially with so many vendors out there. The smaller companies don't always have the resources to offer lower prices. -
Bauway was good. currently using Joye LR 306's from forever vapor...and so far so good

I avoid any item that will harm my ego or ego type batteries. sometimes, its just that it will drain them faster and need more frequent charging. Honestly, I am really loving the ego vision clearomizer. way easy to fill and use. great throat hit, vapor and flavor. not sure about the life expectancy...still a fairly new product. http://www.vaporkings.com/Vision-Clearomizers-s/2060.htm so many toys out there !!! -
This is my first holiday away from my kids and my friends. I usually good a ton of food. This year its PF changs, just me and hubby. When I go back to colorado next month, I will be cooking up a storm !!!

all depends on what kind of mixing you want to do. Mixing with unflavored, you can create your own flavor from scratch. good to have some VG or PG for diluting the nic strength. I usually mix to about 18mg and about 30% flavor, when mixing from scratch.

Welcome !!! glad you decided to come out from the shadows.

I don't know that there is an exact answer to steeping. some flavors get better when they have had a bit of time to sit and settle. I do notice that most of my mixes change a bit after they have sit a while, sometimes better, sometimes weaker. personally, I don't worry much about steeping....I mix it to my taste and vape, if I need to touch it up later, then I add some more flavor or add something new. Change in color is not uncommon. just the flavors combining or steeping I guess. The brown color when leaking from the carto is caused by the heat from the carto...most colors darken quite a bit when heated.

Ok Now I Really Need Some Tips/help! Operating My Kgo
kitsune replied to Dejavu's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Should be three Pieces....Battery, Atomizer and Cartridges, Right? If you are using the cartridges...you would pull the cartridge off and add the liquid to the whitish filler, add liquid until it looks kinda slushy, put the cartridge back on the atomizer and vape. Sounds like you are trying to add the liquid to the atomizer from the battery end? the part that screws onto the battery.... Or Like Jeff said ! -

Glad you checked in !!! Personally if you can get your hands on some ego vision clearomizers.....They are by far the least painful devise I have used since I started vaping (almost 3 years), and trust me I have tried so many things. http://www.vaporkings.com/Vision-Clearomizers-s/2060.htm Great throat hit, vapor and flavor. some get a muted flavor, but for me, The flavor has been great. I love how easy they are to fill and use. Mind you, this is just my personal opinion. As you have noticed, lots of opinions out there. Happy vaping

Great Post !!! Thanks for sharing your experience. It will help another noob along the way.

Its all about personal taste. That is the best part of DIY...making to your own personal tastes. TPA has some great flavors. Mind you I have Been DIYing for 2 years and have been collecting flavors along the way. It takes a while and a bit of experimenting to find the flavors you like best. With the fruit flavors...have you tried adding a bit of flavoring to any existing premixed liquids? sometimes that works better than mixing from scratch.

I really like flavor Arts Apple Pie (one of my favorites), no perfumy taste, Flavor Art Tiramisu- also a bit sweet. Both of these I use up to 30 % flavoring and no perfume. The most perfumy is the fruit type flavors. The best for fruit for me is Lorann watermelon--really concentrated and sweet. I like flavor west chocolate mint...mixes great with coffee flavors. For sweeteners, I use marshmallow flavoring. For cheaper rates you can go straight to the manufacturer...Both Perfumers apprentice and Flavor west have very good Marshmallo. Caramel is another great sweet type flavor....perfumers apprentice and flavorart are my favorites there. The real fruit type flavors are the hardest to mix with....they just never seem to taste quite right to me.
