Stocked Up A Little And Ready To Vape
kitsune replied to Lordvapor's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Very nice accessory for a Jeep. Your Vaping supplies are very impressive--should last you a couple weeks or so.... LOL--building vaping supplies never ends. Don't have any pics of my Jeep set up--- 510 passthrough with a USB-car adapter from belkin (for ipod I believe)--a tin (that once contained altoids) with a couple extra atomizers, an extra liquid and a couple extra carts, tweezers. When it is warm, the tin comes in the house with me--otherwise it stays in the Jeep with the passthrough. I have found dropping the passthrough presents much less problems while driving--just reel it back in. -
Really strong flavors are hard to get off the atty. Many use separate attys for those flavors. Me--I just drip the atty with the new flavor until the old flavor goes away--works best with compatible flavors.

Very Nice banner--congrats on your second day !!!

Tired Of Research...someone Tell Me What To Order!
kitsune replied to leah's topic in New Vapers Forum
I'm pretty sure you get the point--510 is a great way to go. I smoked marlboro lights for 30 years pack and half/day. I'm 45 and had completely quit quitting. I loved smoking--can't make me quit..... Then along came the 510--that was 7 months ago and I don't even crave cigarettes What you need--a 510 kit with 2 batteries, 2 atomizers and charger, and some liquid. Then if and or when the budget allows--another battery or two-same with the atomizers. Just in case one part or another isn't working well or dies. The battery and atomizer life is variable. A PCC (personal Charging case)-is great to have for when out and about. The amount of liquid varies by individual--I use about 30-40 mls/month 18mg. Always good to have extra liquid on hand too. Initial start up cost can add up, but in the long run it is still cheaper than smoking (depending on how much self control you have)--I have very little. Unlike Keenan--I love my "toolbox"--or in my case tackle box. -
I love my VP-Passthrough !!!!! http://www.vaportalkstore.com/products/VP-Ecig-USB-Passthrough-PRE-SALE.html Well worth the price

I agree with Brian--I just twist the corner of a paper towel or kleenex and push into the open end of the atty and let sit for 5-10 min--repeat until the papertowel/kleenex comes out clean. However--that does not mean it is the best way--but, it has worked for me so far--I have only lost 4 atty's in 7 months.

Excellent news--its always good when your Dr. thinks you have made a good choice. Most Drs just want us off tobacco products--Most don't care how we do it. Keenan--sorry you guys are having such a rough end to your year. -- These days, most colostomies are temporary. No fun being that sick. Prayers for both of you...

Not sure of the bridge type, but have had very good luck with their atomizers. vape very well--510. if you email them they will respond quickly.

I'm sorry Keenan--will be saying extra prayers for both of you. keep us updated when you can. Lisa

Ejuice Absorption Through The Skin
kitsune replied to fluxivaporator's topic in Vaping Health & Safety
you are thinking right. Good question. yes the nicotine can be absorbed through the skin, but in small amounts the absorption would be small (don't recommend trying large amounts on the skin). Water will wash off the liquid, if you don't have water nearby--wiping any excess with a tissue or cloth will get most of it. happy vaping -
I drove back to colorado from Iowa on sunday--not a nice drive--however the worst road was the e-470 going toward parker. I am glad you are ok--saw lots of cars on the side of the road on my way home. Vaped a whole lot more during that drive.....

buying your first kit is a hard decision. review the list christopher posted. keep in mind cheaper is not always better. we have all started with the kits and added as we went. don't forget at least 1 or 2 extra batteries and atomizers and some extra liquid--don't rely on the carts alone. if you have more questions--keep asking. BTW--Welcome to the vaping world

My Vaping Experineces While On My Caribbean Vacation
kitsune replied to chrisahx's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I think in flight--it has more to do with confusion. people see 'smoke' and it causes people to either complain or think they can smoke also. You can carry the parts in your carry on, putting the liquid in a quart baggie, but most airline are adopting the no e-cig use in-flight. it's very easy to vape in the plane restroom--no smell and doesn't set off the alarm (wouldn't try to blow directly into detector). chris, Very glad you had such a great vacation. I went to Hawaii the beginning of November and also had good experiences Vaping. I tend to remain discreet in any area that is non smoking -
The 510 is my 2nd best friend--my first is the VT-passthrough, the 510 has kept me smoke free for 6 months. Happy vaping

Not One, But Two Newbie-Style Questions
kitsune replied to ddavelarsen's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Keenan--I usually mix about 10 to 1. i.e--1/2 ml menthol to 5mls whatever flavor you choose. Yes--more traditional. can try a drop or two in ml or so. Dave--it really amounts to what works for you--there is a lot of trial and error in learning the ins and outs of vaping. We are all so different with our vaping amount and styles. Just ask and somebody will come up with the right answer. Welcome to the vaping world. Really great community. Happy Vaping -
Not One, But Two Newbie-Style Questions
kitsune replied to ddavelarsen's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Hey Keenan--I have never been a menthol smoker. with adding menthol--a little goes a long way. Just love that wet dog smell........ -
I have always drawn into my mouth first--pause--then inhale the vapor. Its the same way I smoked. Direct inhaling would make a world of difference. As a seasoned smoker/vaper--I still can't direct inhale without coughing. I didn't even know there was an other way to smoke a cigarette/e-cig (direct inhale) until recently. The only time I have ever direct inhaled was in the old days..... I have also read several reports of people having problems with the PG--they do better with VG. occasionally it is flavor/nicotine strength related. Happy Vaping
