  1. congrats !! I've vaped all over the place, even at altitude. I haven't had any trouble with presssurized cabins (I keep it to myself and very discreet). Movie theaters are my favorite(discreetly)
  2. Alcohol will kill most (if not all) of germs/coodies that might be left over. If you really want to make sure its not contaminated....use everclear....kills everything (and probably some things we don't know about). The bits of nicotine, PG etc shouldn't hurt the next few cleans.
  3. Welcome !!! and congrats on making the switch. kinda funny how much the taste buds change. even if they don't change enough to make that one palatable, It can always be used for DIY adventures.
  4. We may be a bit nuts at time, but many of us are here because ECF is just way too draining. We try very hard to keep things on the family friendly side. Welcome, and very glad you have found us !!
  5. Brian....As much as I miss you on the forum, I must selfishly admit, if I have to pick between having you on the forum or running the shop.....I vote shop !!! between you and Chris, I am set. Its a bonus if you get to join us for a bit on the forum
  6. sorry, not much help, haven't heard of them. sometimes you just have to jump. It sounds like its worth a try. you may find a flavor you love...or not. Vaping involves a lot of trial and error finding the right flavors.
  7. Don't exactly know if there's a rule or not.....but I'm sure he's working his butt off!!!
  8. Brian used to be a valued member of the forum before he bailed on us and became a supplier !!! But, I am glad he did. I love spending my money at his place. I know I can count on customer service and good products. Miss you Brian !!!
  9. http://www.ecigexpress.com/ I get most of my DIY supplies and flavors from ecigexpress. I like 3 ml bottles for carrying out with me. they are also great for trying out new mixing concoctions. a few 10ml and 30 ml bottles are nice to have on hand.
  10. honestly, I don't use many premixed flavors, but I swear by vapor talks(Market Place) Summer melon, midnight and sweet dawn. These are the only premixed flavors I use. They only come in PG or VG, I don't think you can buy it mixed, but you can buy one PG and One VG and mix them yourself. They are not over powering flavors, but ones I can vape all day. Keep in mind all flavors are very subjective, we all have our own personal favorites that other don't like at all.
  11. Welcome !! and good luck not buying new toys, The guys and gals around here are always finding new and cool stuff...which of course means, I have to give it a try. very glad you have found vaping !!
  12. Welcome and congrats !! finding the right flavors is always the challenge, especially since our taste buds change so often. I had my last cigarette 4 years ago and haven't looked back !! My husband and kids are just glad I quit smoking...I'm sure my husband wonders if I will ever give up vaping.....Not likely
  13. Welcome Back !!! definitely a bigger forum these days .
  14. Lots and trial and error with vaping. at least you now know, VG isn't your thing (right now anyway). Like Aquatroy said, your tastebuds will change, finding the right flavors is always a challenge. a smaller amount of VG (10%) isn't so sweet, but does add the the Vapor production.
  15. I never get tired of questions...but its always good too have more DIY brains to pick. Thats how I learned...trial, error and lots of questions.
  16. I hate you All !!!! Now you made me go and spend more money. after all this, I of course had to try the KPT. Ordered mine on the marketplace (veteran vaper). Now I can compare my vivi nova, Kanger MT3, Evod and now the KPT. I really do love variety....my bank account, not so much
  17. is your liquid PG, VG or a combo? VG liquids are sweeter than PG. Not much help with which vendors sell less sweet liquids, but I am sure somebody will be along with a better answer.
  18. Welcome !! Glad you joined us.
  19. LOL Uma !!! Good to know I'm not the only one, I blame my children....sucked my brain cells dry like little leeches.
  20. Make another batch without sweetener and combine with the too sweet batch? sometimes that drop of menthol can decrease the sweetness. try the creme de menthe (just a drop) and see what happens.....trial and error.
  21. menthol flavoring works a bit better, but the creme de menthe helps.....just very small amounts !! ya, I've lots count of all the flavorings. I have my staples, but keep all the rest just in case or to spice up a flavor.
  22. Yes you can !! just be careful how much you keep stored....the flavor does change overtime, but a couple/three months worth should be good. you will also find your taste will change along the way....I am always fussing with my flavors. The best part about DIY, if the flavor doesn't taste right, you can always fix it !!
  23. Welcome !! Glad to have you with us.
  24. No worries. Glad to help out. Its great to have a place to ask before you invest more money. Just have fun. Lots and lots of trial and error. ask away if you run into more questions.
