  1. When I am vaping alot I run 2 510's or alternate between a 510 and my VP-PT. The 510 attys vape better if they are not too hot. If I am just vaping my normal amount, I take 2-3 draws and let cool on its own.
  2. I think you will love the selection. I am a flavor nut--I just can't seem to get enough. I know its not my tastebuds--I taste everything else just fine. I am told the 510 decreases the flavors--so that is probably part of it. In addition to vaping, my current sugar addiction is skittles. taste the rainbow. Lisa
  3. Thank you guys !!! Chris--getting any in anytime soon??? I can also check arno's site
  4. Most batteries already hold a good amount of charge, so as far as I know, should hurt the battery. We all know the 'new toy syndrome'. I am very glad you are enjoying your 510. You haven't even hit the tip of iceburg on flavor yet--so many flavors out there. Happy vaping !!!!
  5. Using the 510 atty's--I use the gentle, slow, long draws. always get tons of vapor and hit. I have been curious about the 801 for a bit--just not sure about the change. Don't worry Nana--if I don't like it--I won't hold it against you. I love trying new things anyway. I still have about 50.00 left on my vaping budget this month. Just spent a good chunk on Flavour Art flavorings and supplies.
  6. I Just had to share this information: Liberty Flights has just posted the Flavour Art Flavorings for Liquids. The Flavour Art liquid selection is amazing. http://www.liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=15 I have used Liberty Flights for many things over the last 7 months (US site was closed for the last few months)-- I have always had excellent customer service, good prices, and excellent product. I have used Flavour Art through their (Flavour Art)- Italy site and was very happy with the products. Not as concentrated as Loranns, but to me tastes more authentic. Still plenty concentrated. I can't wait for my order to get here !!!!!
  7. Personally I am a bit of both--I add 1 drop to the atty and 1-2 drops to the cart--best of both worlds. When dripping just be careful not to add too much 1-3 drops at a time, otherwise you will have leakage or flooded atty. You will need to play with things to see what works best for you. Happy Vaping
  8. Now I guess I need to get some 801's. Like you I am a 501 fan--but you have completely sold me on the 801 Nana. I love my VP-PT--it really is an amazing unit. I have the green light--bright enough to use as a night light if needed. Definitely best with the wall adapter--it needs lots of power !!!! Its a new year--time to start spending.....
  9. The vapor production with the fluval and pyramid tea bags is equal--both are great in that respect. that being said--I use a combination of cart and dripping. drip 1 to the atty and 1 to the cart.
  10. Soooo glad you are liking it with the 510--slow, gentle draws work best. figuring out the length of the draw that suits you is part of the learning curve. i.e--my draw time is about 5 seconds. Vaping really is sooooo much better than smoking !!!
  11. At our walmart its in the craft section. Just picked up some grape today. if you don't see it, somebody in the craft section should know where it is.
  12. PCC is a must--just keep in mind the PCC is meant for the regular 510's and won't charge the megas with the lid closed. Personally I would skip the megas (have a couple--they are ok)-with the PCC they are not necessary Save for the PV/PT--now that is a seriously mean piece of vaping equipment--make sure you get the car adapter too.
  13. Glad you decided to join the nuthouse--fun just posting for the fun of posting. no more lurking for you !!! I have a VP/PT--good question??? I don't know?? Chris???? welcome and happy vaping
  14. I can't wait to see what you think -- keep warm !!!!
  15. Like Nana already posted Yes. My 510 passthrough works great with the ipod adapter for the wall and car. The only problem i had was with my VP/PT--ordered a more powerful one from the VT store for that.
  16. oooooohhhh--didn't think about coffee. Drink plenty of coffee--your right, that could alter the tastes.
  17. Good link on that thread Rusty--good breakdown. That will help alot of people put things into perspective. I feel like I am vaping all the time--or at least just have my 510 in my hand, but over all nicotine intake is soooo much less than when I was smoking. I am also unable to outright vape at work, but I always have my 510 in my pocket and its easy to take a quick vape and move on. definitely don't need to vape like I needed to smoke. At work I can go hours with only a couple quick hits, when smoking I would be plotting and planning my next smoke break. GOOOOO Vapers
  18. You made a good solid choice. I guarantee you will love vaping. When I started, I had no idea what to expect---WOW. I had no intention on quitting smoking - that was 7 months ago. I spent the first couple months buying and buying--any extra money went into stuff. I still keep buying--there is always something cool I want-- for the last few months I have spent less each month than I would have on smoking (I just keep reminding my nonsmoking husband of that when he gets the bills) Let us know if you have any trouble--it is worth every ounce of learning.
  19. Very good article and food for thought for all users and sellers. Every time I see an add or claim about e-cigs being healthy--I cringe. The FDA would love to have that for ammunition. Since we really don't know the long term results--claiming they are healthy is just wrong. We all know that e-cigs are hands downs better than cigarettes--but it's a bit like saying a McDonalds hamburger is healthy--better than eating a bag of candy certainly, but not really healthy. Most of us that Vape have seen health improvements, but for most of us it is still trading one for the other. There are many that have made their way to 0 nic--but thats still not exactly quitting. For me I would say E-cigs have helped me quit smoking, I am not willing however to give up vaping anytime soon.
  20. LOL--Vaping is taking a whole new turn. Excellent idea. Many months ago on another forum some of us were joking about using the bottle--it was just a matter of time. Does look like something that could get you arrested--but not a bad plan for home use. can't wait to see what you do with a capri straw.....
  21. yet another mixing monster created--one vaper at a time. WAAHAAHAA
  22. Thanks mcquinn--always looking to try flavor.... Dave https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors-candy-oils.aspx click on the item details and it will tell you if it is water soluble.
  23. those are the ones. Totally wicked also sells Loranns or you can go to their site (cheaper) https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors-candy-oils.asclick on the item details and make sure it's water soluable--do not want oil base (kills the atty) http://www.liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=15 This is the liberty flights link for the flavour art--not in stock just yet--I am hoping they will have them in place next week.
  24. LOL--my current list of flavors is very, very long. I love all the flavors !!! Nana--to me the cherry tastes a bit like the lifesaver cherry--not a real cherry flavor--I don't think its your taste buds. I found some Loranns at Walmart in the craft isle--the watermelon is good (you listening dave), more like candy watermelon. if you run across the english toffee--that is a really strong flavor. The butter rum is good too. I usually end up with about 1ml (or 30 drops) of flavor to about 5ml liquid. some flavors I need more... If you are tasting food and suck, then it's not your taste buds--certain flavors might be muted just due to your personal taste--we all taste things differently. Just because you need more flavor, doesn't mean there is anything wrong.
