  1. You can carry as much liquid as fits in a quart size baggie. each bottle has to be 3 oz or less. needless to say, you can carry quite a bit of liquid. Just make sure its all in the baggie...includes any all liquids/gels you might be carrying. take out of your bag and put in bin with any other misc stuff and no trouble.
  2. I love how much things have grown !! getting ready to for a british isles cruise.....no smoking in the cabins or most areas on the ship, but apparently electronic cigarettes are approved.
  3. Nice.....guess its time for some more shopping !!
  4. You'll do fine Patricia !!! I go for no fuss, no muss. do you have a vivi nova or EVOD? If you do, I treat it the same as I do my vivi nova and EVOD or Kanger T3....fill it, vape, refill as needed. when its not vaping right, I put on a replacement head, fill and vape. I assume you will be using yours on an Ego type battery.....there is a sleeve that fits between the battery and tank to give it a more finished look. http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-sleeves/ (Type C). Not sure if the contest included the sleeve or just the tank (I should know tomorrow when mine arrives) no need for it to be complicated. the replacement heads are fairly cheap.
  5. Excellent advice !!! Its amazing the difference between a good unit and a cheap unit.
  6. I know this answer is off topic, but..... I finally found the source of leaking with my vivi nova....there was a separation at the bottom of the tank. the piece that screws into the battery separated slightly from the metal section that unscrews from the tank. I just reseated it and no more leak. I find it separates when I have had it in my pocket and it gets a bit battered. Now I just check it now and again, haven't had any more trouble with leaking.
  7. Like sheepdog said ! For me, I usually just empty any old liquid, give a few good shakes and refill with a compatible flavor. If you do rinse them, shake out the excess liquid and let dry. If you decide to not wait until dry, refill with liquid and take a few draws. the first few draws will be a bit watery, but it will kick in after a bit.
  8. yup, different tanks with different flavors for easy change up...with me actually, I keep mine ready to go on its own battery. RE Glycerin....check the label and make sure it doesn't have any additional ingredients. take a small taste...vegetable glycerin has a lightly sweet taste. I would imagine its the same thing....Glycerin is fairly cheap. You can even google the product you are using and see if its just glycerin. Glycerin comes in 2 types..PG-Propylene glycol and VG-Vegetable glycerin. VG is thicker and a bit sweet.
  9. I agree with Tam on the above. Finding the right flavors is such a challenge !!! For the strawberry and menthol from TW.... I know this will sound wierd, but,....you can buy pharmacy grade VG from the pharmacy, walmart, walgreens, what not. It is sold as a skin protectant, I know, I know, but, it really is just glycerin. you can ask the pharmacist if you can't find it. You can add some of the glycerin to your harsh liquids and it will help soften it. Just add a bit at a time. Too much and it will decrease the flavor and nicotine level. for a 30ml bottle, you could probably get away with 5ml of the glycerin. Just an idea.....
  10. ya, if its 510.....whole world of cheaper heating elements.
  11. LOL ! never thought I would see the day.....There is something to be said about the pen style...nice and small. Its were I started (only choice back then). 510 threading? or other?
  12. For me, I have never found the right chocolate flavor. they all give me hint of chocolate or ya, the tootsie roll flavor.
  13. I have used both, and very quickly switched strictly to manual. the manual has much better control. the autos used to turn on by them selves with a good breeze or sometimes just with movement. I think the only autos left are the 510 pen style...I haven't touched my 510's since Ego and ego style batteries were developed.
  14. Congrats ! Its a great milestone !
  15. Welcome !!! looks like you have a pretty good set up. Tons of toys out there !! I think you will like it around here, any questions, just ask.
  16. Welcome !!! tons of info to found on the forum. ask away if you have questions. getting started is a lot of trial and error....so worth the effort.
  17. no smell on my clothes (didn't know how bad it was until I quit) being able to vape (discreetly) when I am trapped in non smoking areas...airport, airplanes, work. Tons and Tons of flavors to choose from
  18. Congrats !!! 6 months is a huge milestone, hopefully many more to come Happy vaping
  19. Yup.....dripping is the real deal. May be a bit more fuss and muss, but so worth it !!!
  20. Welcome !! glad you found us. Any questions, just ask.
  21. Welcome !! Glad you made the switch. It really will be an amazing journey. Finding the right flavors is always the challenge. would definitely look at 18mg (less Harsh). Can save the 24 mg for if you are having a particularly bad day. find sites (or places) that sell smaller bottles will help.
  22. I'm another one that usually has 3-4 setups ready to go. I like variety. When I vape a flavor for too long (a few hours), the flavor starts to dull for me, so if I change it up, the flavors stay strong.
  23. Welcome !!! very glad you found us.
