  1. The bottom drawer of my refridg is dedicated to all my various flavors, every time I turn around, I find a new one I need to try.

I have found over the months that it is hard to quantify liquid vs cigarettes. Liquid comes in mg/ml. i.e-18mg/ml. I usually use about 1-2 mls/day (depending on the day). I used to smoke 30 marlboro lights/day. lets assume we absorb about 1mg of nicotine per cigarette, that would be 30ish mg/day smoking. vaping would be 18-36mg/day. don't know that we know how much is actually absorbed into our systems. That being said--I started at 18mg liquid (kinda in the middle), and it has worked well for me so far. from 18 mg it is easy enough to cut the strength with PG or VG. or buy stronger if needed. the advantage to starting with 10ml liquids is that you can try different flavors and different strengths until you find what works. we will all have our own opinion based on what has worked best for us. if I totally lost you, just say so--we will find an answer for you Happy Vaping
  3. My personal favorite is the VP-PT, however, not cheap. This is my latest passthrough: http://www.azsmokefree.com/inc/sdetail/3385 I really like the fact that it is detachable to can be used as a standard 510 when not in use as a passthrough.
  4. so many combinations and endless possibilities. But I usually return to fruit and coffee flavors.
  5. Great Pic !!!! I love being a non-smoker..... vapers Rule
  6. MMMMMMM, Both VT Grape and Dulcis are great flavors !!!
  7. Glad you have gotten to the good stuff!!! Happy Vaping
  8. Funny Dave--I was just thinking the same about yours. Time to go shopping !!!
  9. Thanks for the link burn, may be looking for some new flavoring soon. Took a quick glance and looks good. My suppliers are vapor talk, liberty flights and rocky mountain vapor--not had a bad batch and good prices. That being said, I have yet to leave a flavor untouched by flavoring.
  10. for the last 11 months the only thing I have used to clean an atty is papertowel or kleenex like sensay said. I just twist and push into the open end of the atty (push gently). Let the papertowel or kleenex absorb any excess liquid or blow through the other end of the atty. The videos really help alot. I they don't answer your question, let us know, somebody will have the answer. Happy Vaping BTW- Welcome!!!
  11. These 2 are my all time favorites. If liberty flight doesn't get some Flavour Art in soon, I may need to try capellas or one of the other DIY flavorings. Needless to say, I like very strong flavors. Apple Pie 3 ml 36/mg unflavored 1 ml FlavourArt(FA) Apple Pie .5 ml (FA) Irish Cream 2 drops (FA) perique black 6 drops (FA) menthol Tiramisu/Coffee 3ml 36mg unflavored 1.5 ml Tiramisu (FA) 3 drops mellow sunset (FlavourArt) 6 drops Menthol (FA) 3 drops Caffe Espresso (FA) .5 ml Chocolate (FA) 1 ml PG
  12. honestly 50/50 for me. the VG does have more vapor and is a bit sweeter, but, is a bit thick and requires thinning. PG seems to have a bit more flavor. I will vape either...
  13. My 3 current favorites are the Nomad which is 3.7v, Little Gem which is variable voltage-3.7-6v and my favorite is my VP-PT at 4.9v. 5V for my seems to be just the right amount, however there are times when 6 is needed. Great poll Happy vaping
  14. Hey Kragax--I wish I could tell you there was an easy answer. unfortunately it really does come down to personal taste and experimentation. I haven't tried the sweetners (yet)-may have to give that a try. The VG is a bit sweeter than the PG. The Lorann flavorings are very concentrated and don't add much sweetness. I have not yet tried the capellas flavoring. Some of the flavour art flavorings are a bit sweet. When mixing try to use small amounts. I usually experiment with about 1ml of base liquid and just a couple drops at a time of any flavoring, VG or PG. that way if I get a flavor I really don't like its not such a waste and I can usually vape it. I just keep experimenting a little at a time until I get what I want. I have been mixing for several months and am just getting the hang of what I like and don't like. it does get easier, I promise.
  15. I had to put a response in each category in order to vote. I used the <10 for all but the one I really use, which is 20-40ml of 18(ish)mg. Great poll !!!
  16. May have to check out capella. I have been using flavour art for quite a while and really like them, but the stock is still a bit(alot) low at liberty flights. technically I have enough flavors to last quite a long time--but there are so many to try. I adore Decadent Vapors - but unfortunately have had a very nasty falling out with TW. if Nick every gets his own site going, I will be one happy camper !!!! I also use flavored liquid at higher strength, PG or VG and then add the flavoring. seems to give better flavor, or at least easier to get the right flavors. mixing with the unflavored can be a bit trickier--I tend to add multiple flavors to find the right balance. Happy Vaping
  17. Exactly !!! Vape and they will come.... Btw--I keep in my email a list of supplier I use, helpful links, supplies needed to get started etc. that way when somebody is interested I can email them the information and encourage them to research. Happy vaping
  18. Thanks for the links GDub, I'll have to check those out. In the meantime, I would think maybe more or all VG for sweeter taste. The base and flavoring should counteract the thickness of the VG. Not played with the orange flavors much--sounds interesting.
  19. I promise you the blue foam is really that good. in the last 11 months it is the only thing that has truly worked 100% of the time. Not sure where they get it and haven't been able to find a similar substance. no matter, it really isn't expensive through strictly e juice. Happy vaping
  20. Congrats !!! Its great to find such awesome suppliers.
  21. Hey Kragax--knock on wood and politicians--if the ban comes through for new york--I am certain we will find a way to get nicotine to you. Colorado as far as I know, isn't squaking yet--be happy to ship some to you if you ever need. !!! and mixing is fun
  22. Congratulations, that is a great story. I do find that the need for my e-cig isn't near what it was with smoking, i don't think I could even go through the whole day, let alone 2 weeks. More mental addiction (and I really enjoy it). My only absolute certainty is that I will never return to smoking !!! Thank you for sharing.
  23. sorry, no help with that one. drink lots of water and flush your system....
  24. Congrats on your mix. It really is very satisfying to create your own. I like strong flavor, so mixing allows me to make my flavors to my own taste. You will have to let us know what you come up with once you get your flavors !!! happy vaping and merry mixing
  25. over all mixing can be cheaper, as many buy the stronger(nic strength) unflavored or flavored liquids and dilute to desired strength. i.e.--30ml of 36ml = 60ml of 18mg. mixing definitley takes a bit of time to get the hang of, but it really is fun to create new flavors.
