  1. Archangel gave me the idea. so often we manage to get off topic or just want to banter, why not have its own thread I'm Lisa or Kitsune, currently residing in colorado. 3 dogs- 1 very large mastiff, 1 small shiba inu and very blind german shepard somewhere in the middle. 2 kids, 1 boy-19 yrs and 1 girl-21 years. married 26 years. Love all things Monty python, mostly country music- but then theres Alice Cooper, weird al yanchovich, Queen, Styx....... heres a great wierd Al song:
  2. I have a feeling it may take a while to get to you. it takes 1-2 weeks to get from the UK to the US, not sure about africa.... LOL--waiting is never fun.
  3. not much help for tonight--but check your PM
  4. LOL--you are in very good company. with 48mg per ml and you want 18 mg per ml right?? .4mls of the 48mg and .6mls of 0nic should give you 1ml of 18mg--clear as mud yet?? I would just add a ml at a time until the bottle is full. are you adding any additional flavor Is that what you were asking??
  5. very glad you have made it back to vaping, I would hate to have to go back to smoking.... for now, just enjoy vaping and the rest will follow. welcome back !!!!
  6. Heres my multimeter recipe for 510 attys given to me by a fellow vaper: here we go..first set your meter to 200 OHM the touch the red probe to the black probe and you should get a reading of 00.0 if you dont and you get something like 00.2 just subtract the # from the reading you will get from the atty. Ok put the RED probe into the small hole on the battery side and the Black probe into the small hole on the SIDE of the atty or on the thread you should get a reading of 2.2 - 2.9 thats a good strong atty if you get anything above 3.2 send it back..lol the lower the # the better Now the battery is done the same way EXCEPT set the meter 20v in the DCV section RED to the metal (Dent) on the battery or if you have a Mega just put it on the end that connects with the atty and the Black try and put it on the little gold band You will need to have someone hold down the batt switch while testing ..A half charged battery should read 3.6 - 4.2. this really has helped me alot--especially since I am fairly electronically challenged.
  7. The multimeter has saved more than one atty for me.
  8. I know we are off topic, but: Wow, that was a great story archangel-thank you for sharing that. How are things going now???
  9. I played with cleaning methods for the first couple months of vaping and gave up. In the last 10 months the only thing I do is: twist the corner of papertowel or kleenex, push into the open end of the atty (not too hard), allow to sit for 10-15 min, repeat if necessary. works to get rid of flavors or help a flooded atty. so far this method has worked great. in the event of emergency--the corner of a tshirt works well too. Happy vaping
  10. I hate bad equipment days !!! 1. waxy flavor--Check the edge of your carts--sometimes the edges melt when the atty is getting too hot or dry, that is usually the cause of weird or nasty flavors for me. 2. Are the atty's getting and/or staying too hot?? I have found at 6v My atty needs to cool down a bit more often. I have had atty's that I thought were dead, come back to life--mearly stunned.. 3. Do you by chance have a mulitmeter??
  11. keeping up with sales and discount codes are difficult at best. I've missed a few....
  12. Brian--maybe send an email out and see if they will honor the 50%--if you explain, maybe they can help.....
  13. try adding the tiramisu to some coffee flavored liquid. mind you, I do like strong flavor 1ml of coffee premixed liquid and add 6 drops of tiramisu, if you have it--a drop or two of menthol. sent a PM about the apple pie.... let me know if you need more tiramisu help.
  14. one of the biggest problems with vaping is all the choices, and flavors, and combinations....... not sure about seedmans....but then again we are vaporizing and inhaling food flavoring....
  15. I have so lost count of how much I actually use--I usually rotate through 3 or 4 flavors. I am guessing 30-40 mls/ month. I smoked about 1 1/2 pack/day. you may slow down a bit as things become a little more routine (or not)--it's still worth it.
  16. I really like that--we could change the world one good deed at a time. I am game..... how fun (does adopting my sisters 5 year old blind german shepard count???--they couldn't find her a home and just couldn't keep her and couldn't put her in a shelter.....) now I have a mastiff, shiba, maine coone (big cat) and a blind shepard. not counting my 2 kids in college. hmmmmm--i'm guessing i like chaos.
  17. nana, good or bad??? do you have any coffee flavored liquid???
  18. Jim, you have a point. When I finally quit comparing vaping to smoking--I was much, much happier. I drip when I am hanging out and use carts when I am out and about. The only thing that matters is experimenting and finding what works best for you--comparing vaping and smoking is apples and broccoli.
  19. i've been eyeing the saber myself---
  20. For me--It's all about the 510 atty's. I have tried a few others, and always go back to my 510. It's managed to keep me smoke free for over a year now--if it aint broke, don't fix it !!!! VP-PT--510 atty = perfection. (Just my opinion)
  21. apple pie (flavourart)10 drops, expresso (flavourart)5 drops, vanilla (flavourart)3drops mixed with 18mg marlboro premixed. tasty !!!
  22. Carts by themselves really don't last very long. Did you get some extra liquid??? I am a combination drip and cart. my ideal cart filler is the blue foam from strictly ejuice https://strictlyejuice.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67_49&products_id=222&zenid=v5fl3ml9ihrpco5keoklj5j1l5. with the carts--you pull out the white filler--fill the cart with liquid--stuff the blue foam into the liquid and 'fluff' to the top of the cart. add a drop or two to the top of the cart--attach to the atty and vape. When you get to that point we can help you along......
  23. ask away !!!! I love mixing and playing with flavors. Much like cooking--just a matter of figuring out what flavors compliment each other. get some sleep--never mix when sleepy....
  24. http://freedomsmokeusa.com/index.php?cPath=34&osCsid=9624826c44f3feb00213c2e8d5b3ef5f I still prefer the flavourart line of flavoring. the expresso flavoring is very good. also recommend the apple pie, cookie and tiramisu. I only use a bit of tobacco flavor with my mixes as a background flavor. I like the mellow sunset and Latakia--the tobacco flavoring are very, very strong. a little goes a very long way. Merry mixing
