  1. Hey Nana--the one I am using now is actually from my camera (now I need to find one for my camera). I have seen them on inexpensive flashlights--if I run across one, would like me to grab an extra. I think it was big lots that had the flashlights....... That is a very special container for unknown concoctions(stray or combined mixes).........that may or may not be lethal. I haven't 'misplaced' my flavors once today--great for getting chores done. Haven't been out in public with it yet( keychain)--spent 3 days at disneyland without anybody saying a word about vaping--the liquids will never be noticed.
  2. During my recent 20 hour drive betweeen California to Arizona to Colorado, would frequently mis-place my liquids while driving. decided I really needed to devise a way to keep them handy. I also found while spending the day at Disneyland I would frequently put my liquid back in different spots and then have to search for it. I usually use the 3ml bottles when I am out. I am usually using anywhere between 2-4 flavors during a day and needed something I could clip on my belt or bag This is what I came up with: Using 3ml bottles, cell phone lanyards for the bottles I also decided my camera wrist strap was much better suited for my ego !!! Anybody else with ideas???
  3. Been using it most of the day now, and I still love it !!!
  4. I sooo need one of those cammo vests !!!!! very handy.
  5. as a semi-qualified person--Nicotine is actually absorbed fairly quickly through the skin. However, since we are generally only talking about a few drops, you are safe( so long as you are not dealing with concentrated nicotine). Our bodies are already used to nicotine, so our bodies do not react as strongly to small spills on our skin. for example--at 18mg/ml, 1ml of liquid is about the equivalent to a pack of cigarettes(lights)--not enough to give us much more than a headache.( a ml is a decent size spill). 1-2 drops is < .1 ml. If you spill more than a few drops, recommend you just wash your hands or if no water is handy just wipe off any excess liquid. No worries. my daughter is prone to unusual panic attacks and you are doing exactly what I tell her--walk through it........ as for pets--if you have had liquid on your hands, not a bad idea to wash them. animals can be more sensitive, a drop or two won't hurt them--but best to not take chances. I have a house full of animals too, and after a year of vaping and spilling--everybody is still ok. Happy vaping
  6. Well said !!! Read the article--very helpful !!!! I've been vaping for a year and barely knew the difference. I stick to my few trusted shops, but, your right--looking through the products is very confusing, even for veteran vapers. Thank you for posting the article !!!
  7. Since you are listed as an unregistered supplier, I thought I should put this in the review section. I'm not very good a review type things, so this is really just my opinion. THANK YOU!!!!!! WOW !!! I just returned from california last night, so today is the first time I have had a chance to use my wonderful new box mod 5V 2-14500 trustfire or ultrafire batteries. So far today--I Love It !! Great hit and vapor. I love the on/off switch--perfect for sticking in my pocket. The button is easy to depress and the unit fits very nicely in my hand. Using mine with 510 atty's. At 5v the attys getting hot pretty quick--same with all my 5v devices. but, typically I take shorter draws when I am using 5v. This is really a keeper. Nice Job BoxModMan !!!! and thank you. I am one very, very happy camper !!! Pic with my VP-PT, 510, box mod, ego Box mod Just because I like shiney things and all my others are black-- Happy vaping to All
  8. I have found the same problem. I have atty's that work great with my 510's and egos, once I use them on my VP/PT-they no longer work on my 510's - the VP/PT pushes part of the atty in, so work great on the PT and not on my 510's. Not sure if the VP/PT is the only one that does that or if other 5v passthroughs do the same thing. solution--I have a couple atty's I only use on my VP/ PT and attys just for my 510's and ego.
  9. PG is Propelyne Glycol and VG is vegetable Glycerine--both are products commonly found in foods. can wiki them for in depth explainations. can also use wiltons glycerine--found in the baking section of any hobby shop. VG does provide a bit more vapor than PG. If you don't want to place another order, you can use the wiltons until you get things sorted. If you just placed the order--they may be able to add it to your shipment. Its much easier to dilute than add when it comes to nicotine strength.
  10. I firmly believe e-cigs are infinitely better than cigarettes. technically nicotine is a poison (in concentrated form). as far as I have been able to determine (through much spillage)-standard liquids do not present a problem, however in higher concentrations can cause headaches, dizziness, palpitations, circulatory problems. Nicotine can be absorbed through the skin. I find I just wipe my hands on what ever is handy and move on. It is good to do research before starting a new hobby. always good to know what the dangers are and make an informed choice. Anybody that thinks vaping in worse than smoking........
  11. liberty-flights VG watermelon and strictly ejuice lava flow--50/50
  12. check the warrenty on the blu--can you return it after you have tried it??? the 510's and egos are just an overall better product, but that doesn't mean the Blu won't work for you...... not actually tried the Blu, so I am just going on what I have heard.
  13. don't rely on the carts--they do not last long at all. you will need liquid to refill the carts. if you order a strength that is too strong it can be diluted. most of the companies also sell straight PG or VG, which can be used to dilute. best to order a bit strong and order some PG or VG for possible dilution. are you ordering from VT?? most sell 10 ml sizes. marlboro is a fairly generic flavor, but if the budget allows you may want to try a couple flavors.

  15. e-cigs really do replace smoking for me. with most of them its a bit of a long gentle draw. It isn't quite the same as smoking--the techniques are a bit different. It really is easy enough, new patterns become normal. I can no longer actually remember (nor want to)-what is was like to smoke. Personally I recommend the 510 or the Janty Ego. I haven't heard much good about the blu (they might be better these days)...... Happy Vaping
  16. They've about covered the questions. Ego, extra parts (as budget allows), a few different flavors of liquid to start You will fall in love with vaping !!!! I quit smoking just over a year ago thanks to e-cigs. don't even crave a cigarette. Happy vaping

    Mad Maggie

That is pretty sleek looking !!!
  18. I can't wait to see what you think of the Ego. I personally think you will love it !! I know Chris appreciates the business.... He has always held that this is a forum with a store not a store with a forum.....Which makes for the best possible updates and information on products. VT store and all others out there. However--its always good to support the hand that feeds us..... (Thank You Chris) But since no store carries all items, we all get bits from all over. plus the list of VT certified suppliers is great. Happy Vaping
  19. Glad you are finally making a nice collection. PIF really does help those that are starting out. we all know how expensive it is in the beginning. I do like my DSE 905, I usually rotate it in now and again. Have been using my ego's most of the time. I can't wait to try my box mod--hoping the postal service will decide to deliver it today, however, I won't get home until saturday. something fun to come home to. Huge thanks to the BoxModMan (Alan). Have fun Hodge !!
  20. I think thats what I like best about the ego, great battery life and a bit more discreet for out and about. In some areas I prefer subtle, at home I love power. 3.7 volt works well for me when I am out, but like the higher voltage at home.
  21. The charms are cute, but also very functional. have saved me dropping it more than once and much easier to find when I lay it down somewhere. Mostly--I just really like the charms and I can change them out when I want !!
  22. I love my ego !!! I do leave mine on the charger over night or until I switch out the batteries. I only have 2 ego batts and just rotate through. one is usually on the charger--I unless I am going to be out for a while, then I take both. battery life for me is most of the day--moderate vaper, heavy at times, but still seems to last all day.
  23. Some pics of my ego lanyards I know boys--it's girly: This one shows it without the cone. slip knot the lanyard below the button and the cone holds it in place. This one my zodiac monkey
  24. Those things are adorable--I love personalizing my e cigs--very girly thing to do. I'll post a pic of the two lanyards I have on them. Just need to find the camera batteries.
  25. Once they see how successful you are, they won't be able to help but be curious. as you built up supplies, you can have them use one of your sets while they are at the house. Trying e-cigs is a huge part of the key. once they see it really does work (painlessly)--they become willing to think about it. I had a couple close friends that I had to hand them a 510, with liquid in place and really encourage them to at least try it !!! once they tried it, it wasn't long until they would ask to try it again..... and then finally started looking at getting their own. The key is just not pushing to hard--just nudge once in a while. We are glad you have been smart enough to the vaping world.....
