Sounds like you might like DIY. The reason I started with DIY was because the flavors were never quite right. By learning to do it myself I can tweak the liquids to my taste (which seem to change constantly). Finding the right flavor combinations is always a bit of a challenge until you find the ones you really like, Kinda like all things vaping.

I don't know that there is any data to support or deny safety of any food coloring. Then again, the flavorings are not intended for vaping either. Personally I would use another type of identifier. pin striping for model cars/planes? I use the small fingernail stickers...stick well and easy to replace if they come off.

it really does sound like withdraw. I haven't heard of anybody with those complaints other than related to withdrawal. If it continues, you can always try 100%VG and see if that helps. PG is in thousands of products we use everyday from food to medicine. Nicotine is the least of the withdrawal process....cigarettes contain so many additives to keep the addiction going....coming off of them is the hard part. Vaping really is worth it !!! you will feel better soon.

No, doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong. It could be that as you get used to it, the sensation diminishes. are you getting any throat hit? do you only have the one CE4? If not, have you tried another one? doesn't sound like your battery is the problem. The CE4's aren't too bad, but there are others that are better. For me the CE4's were pretty inconsistent. I prefer the mini vivi novas, evod, or kanger protank (mini). The minis fit nicer on the egos. The marketplace is a nice place to browse and shop around. http://vaportalk.com/marketplace/

sorry, not much help. somebody will be along with a better answer. try cleaning the threads on the battery and on the atomizer. for what ever reason, I have had several do this on and off, I put them aside and retry them with a different atomizer/clearomizer and it decides to start working again. could be dud batteries...doesn't happen often, but does happen. Have you contacted the supplier you bought it from?

some great answers !! allergy to PG is usually uncontrollable coughing more than anything, but since you just quit smoking....I vote cigarette (tons of chemicals other than nicotine) withdrawal. When you are using your ecig, do you pull directly into the lungs or mouth then lungs. pulling directly into the lungs will cause a very harsh hit. Is your battery a variable voltage? there is a learning curve with vaping and finding the equipment and flavors that work best for you. but I promise....It really is worth it !!

sounds like you are going into this with the right attitude. finding the right flavors is always a bit of a challenge. you will be amazed at how much your taste buds will change. flavors you don't like now, you may like later (or not)... The tobacco flavors are among the easiest to add flavor to if you are interested in DIY down the road.

Ego or ego type battery works great with tanks/clearos. The pro tanks are very nice. I prefer the pro tank mini, vivi nova mini or evod. The smaller tank size works great with the ego type batteries

LOL !! 4 years of trial and error paying off. Glad it worked though. The VG (for me anyway) is still useful in smaller amounts for added vapor. Overall, I find that PG mixes are a bit easier on the heating elements. The heating elements seem to have to work a bit harder with the higher VG.

is the clearomizer just one piece or does it have the changable coils.... either way...rinse it out well with hot water, shake well to remove any excess liquid. best results are to dry over night, but If not, you can just fill and vape. the first few hits will be pretty weak due to excess water on the wicks, but will kick in after a few hits.

When I was using the ego T, I had intermittent trouble with the liquid wicking to heating element and causing burnt hits. Needless to say I didn't use the ego T tank system long. cartomizers (cartridge with filler plus atomizer combined) are a bit more work, those that use them love them. The good news is that there are some tank systems available that work with the ego battery you have and work much better. I did used to end up just removing the tank...drip a couple drops to the heating element...replace the tank and vape. All of these are much easier to use and work alot better.

I don't know, but for some reason, I have never had very good luck with the higher vg liquids and any cartomizer, Clearomizer or atomizer. I know many use Higher VG without problem, not sure why it has always given me trouble. with VG I always get more crackling, Popping and burnt hits.....

Ya, so far I really, really like the mini. hits amazing, great flavor and fits my ego batts nicely. the larger tanks are good for my mods, but I mostly use my egos when I'm out or working. used the KPT mini during my last 12 hour shift....no complaints !! go ahead, pull the trigger....

That really does sound strange. Not sure if possibly the wrong strength of nicotine or possibly a strange reaction to one of the flavors..... If you already diluted it down, I would lean toward a reaction to one of the flavors. If you are still getting strong throat hit....maybe try diluting a bit more and see how that works.
