drummerjims got a reaction from switch227 in Volcano Inferno + Tube Tank
The Volcano Tube tanks are huge right now. I recently just started working at the Volcano Kiosk in WV and every one loves it. we offer our inferno kits in the drip, tanko, clearo, and tube tank set up and everyone loves the tube tank. Some time new vapers are sceptical of the looks of the tube tank but after we let them sample the different set ups they tend to go for it. I am now between dripping and using tube tanks along with using cartomizers on my volt batteries. It is deffinately a great tool to have.
I am also not trying to persuade people into Volcano products. Several other places sell these and I'm sure they work the same. I buy the Volcano products just because it is the easiest for me to get my hands on but I am in no way, shape, or form a volcano fanboy. All of these products are all made by the same companies for the most part. Volcano is just the company I buy from. However I am a fan boy of their Lava Tube.

i have kinda special needs taste buds, so i feel your pain. If I switch to a similar but different flavor on the same day, whether i brush my teeth or not, the new flavor tastes just like the old, i have to either switch to a completely different flavor, or wait until the next day

Yes, went to Denver recently with several devices in my "man purse".
One was an old Copper mod I used to make. Kind of pipe bomb looking device.
Out of Baltimore "what's that?", "an electronic cigarette", "oh....ok". No problems at all and they never mentioned anything else, the eGo, cartos, or juice.
Back out of Denver was a little different, it took me 10 minutes to convince them it (the Mod) was only an Ecig.
Lesson learned, no crazy looking devices, and don't hide anything.
Oh, I did use the eGo on the plane, in a stealth manner.

Hard to get the word out if we all vape in the closet :p

drummerjims reacted to PADave in Do You Vape In Public Places?
I am a little over a year vaping now, and have stopped hiding my vaping whatsoever. I vape openly in stores, restaurants, amusement parks, airports, my desk at the office, and yes was even vaping with one hand while they stitched the other at the urgent care center. I am actually surprised at how seldom i get questioned or confronted about it. I do admit to getting a lot of odd looks, but since what i am doing is not prohibited by any state or local laws, I feel I am perfectly within my rights doing so. I often carry my Provari in my hand as i shop and unabashedly take toots at my leisure. Most commonly people that do ask what i am doing are perfectly happy when i say its my electronic cigarette. This type of unabashed vaping has actually resulted in the conversion of at least 3 people to vaping and have had more than a dozen more to whom i have given one of my custom cards that explains about vaping and provides resource information to learn more (including this site). I am of the firm belief that it is easier to ask forgiveness than permission due to the lack of understanding that is generally exhibited when i have tried to ask and explain, i find that just vaping away is now my primary choice! I am proud to be a vaper and equally excited to tell others about vaping when they gather up the courage to ask. By not stealth vaping and doing so openly, i feel this encourages others to ask about what i am doing since i am not trying to hide it.
To each their own, but for me, i have gotten over any stigma involved in vaping and I am PROUD TO BE A VAPER!

drummerjims got a reaction from TroopX in Cartomizers And Me.
on the smoktechs on a tank what I like to do is fill up the tank (not the carto) and then cover up the bottom hole with my finger tightly. after that i start sucking the juice into the cartomizer use short hard hits to do this. this will fill the cartomizer from the bottom up. after i get a slight gurgly feel i will then put about 5-10 drops into the top and then blow the excess juice out of the bottom. I have given several people this advice and I have been told it has saved them several cartos. It has also saved me several cartos.

drummerjims got a reaction from kitsune in Roll Your Own E-Juice? ;-)
I say you should give it a try. You might be really good at it. I was terrible. I started out my first week I made some really good flavors but after that I started sucking at it. I should have written down my recipes but I did not. However I now have all of the stuff to make a bad Juice vapeable or even sometimes really good just by adding some flavoring, PG,VG,sweetner, or sour to it.

Dripping is best when you are at home with a whole lot of flavors next to you and you want to try them all. In my opinion dripping on the go gets old. It is also very dangerous if you are driving. I think they need a bumber sticker that say's don't drip and drive. however if you are like me dripping does serve a point but I would get annoyed with it after a while.

drummerjims got a reaction from Uma in Finally Upgraded!
So after vaping Volcano's Inferno (Ego) for quite some time I decided it was time to upgrade. I looked at several mods but decided that for the price the LAVATUBE was probably worth the money. Much like I had assumed it really was worth the money. Obviously you shouldn't use a low res atomizer or cartomizer on it but with the 3.0 ohm atomizer I am blown away. I can dial it in and get it perfect. I can dial it down and it's not enough or I can dial it up and it can be too much. I think for the price this thing can't be beat. Even though it looks cheap it is really well crafted. It might not be as heavy as some of the more expensive mods but it is definitely well made. The threads are smooth, it is very solid, has a clicky button, and the only rattle comes from the buttons that adjust the voltage even though it is not much of a rattle at all. This thing may not be built like a tank but I would say it is built like a while manufactured car.
I just thought I would post this for people interested in buying one to see that it may be what they are looking for. Even though there are already plenty of reviews I figured it may just take one more to sway someone.
