yeah cartomizers sometimes u can peek at the filling if its dry and just top it off every once and a while. they also have clear cartomizers or ce2 which you can look inside and see how liquid is left, they are basically just a mini tank, which u might want to look into. They just have the braided threads which feed liquid into the atomizer instead of filling material to soak. heres a pic of clear cartomizer, u can actually see how much eliquid is left in there still
-
Yeah, tanks usually hold like 2.5+ml of e-liquid. I vape quite a bit coming from a 1.5packs a day smoker, and I only vape around 1-2ml a day. The tanks are quite nice im thinking about getting one just to get one but I dont really need it so to say.
-
im not any genius or anything, but if it was that easy i dont think there would be that many eliquid vendors out there, not that im against saving money or anything, but im all for supporting small businesses based in the u.s., especially if they do it right
-
tanks are used to store more eliquid, cartomizers/clearomizers store liquid in themselves. Tanks require cartomizers inside them, while cartomizers are standalone. So a tank is basically just the extension of a cartomizer to hold more e-liquid inside it, rather than you having to refill your cartomizer itself. Being a non-heavy smoker as you say, I say you don't really need a tank if you dont vape that much.

there is an ego passthrough also , 25$ http://www.forevervapor.com/joye-ego-t/joye-ego-t-mega-passthrough/ but its just for the battery. Can be used as a passthrough, and theres a cap when u remove it from the usb cable so u can take it around places without the wire being attached. the leo looks like a great deal though, everything for only 18 bucks is a steal

you can pick up a atomizer, stick battery and charger for around 30$ online im sure

Tips And Warnings For The New E-Cig User
twelveday replied to MrElixir's topic in Polls and Questionnaires
one thing which i noticed was weird is i live in northern california, which you think its california right? there should be good ecigs somewhere. But gas stations and smoke shops are filled with the generic poor quality brand ecigs, id say the internet gave me a ton of information on what is out there and what a good vaping experience i was able to get, with experienced people helping inform me, and the wider variety range of quality ecig products than the 'real world'. Either way, I think the true electronic cigarette experience cannot be really well represented in the real world because the world isnt that exposed to it yet, people are more exposed to the ripoff overpriced garbage which suck them in and give them bad experiences with poor quality products. Id say a more helpful hand from knowledgable people, or more research and lurking on the users part would be in order at this point in time.- 36 replies

i just recently found out the problem when i start not tasting the eliquid after a while, some eliquid gunk up the atomizer pretty fast, but washing it out and dry burning it gets rid of it and it goes back to the original taste (just dont dry burn it for so long u ruin ur atomizer)

yeah wow the price sounds insane, i want to try them out -
id say if you really cant wait then go for it, but id suggest also ordering a better ecig online so when this one doesnt satisfy you another, better one will be on the way =). There are much better, cost worthy vaping experiences out there, even if you just buy a normal 510 batt, atomizer, some eliquid online itll cost maybe around 40$, but will be 100x better. It's really your choice, if anything I hope you dont stop with the smoke51 because it really, really isnt that good of an ecig at all and dont think it should be anyones last vaping experience, unless they are not looking to vape for very long.
-
yeah, 5 seconds is pretty short cutoff seeing that with ecigs, its not quite the same technique as a traditional cigarette, you dont get much taking short draws and have to take a longer draw from ecigs. Also the 16 consecutive times within a minute thing is crap also. Sometimes id take 3-4 draws within a minute and then next would completely lock me out, I wait a minute then try again it still locks you out from drawing from the ecig, wait a minute try again its still locked out. try again 5 minutes later and i get one draw out of it then it completely locks me out again. It was just inconsistent and irritating to me. It may be a defective battery, but for the price it was, i wouldnt waste another 20$ to figure out if the battery was defective or not. I just went to their site and omg, their ecigs are WAY overpriced, they're not even that good. Given I only tried the 30$ starter kit on their site (I also got it for only 20$ at a local smokeshop with no discount or anything which makes me wonder why the hell it costs 30$ on their official website), their kits go upwards of $150+ for a basic stick style ecig kit with only 2 batts?!?!?!! Not to mention their extremely overpriced kits that cost 250$!!!! that only come with 2 batteries? holy crap man. In my opinion they do not look like a company that is centered around a good product, they look like one more centered around gouging your wallets out. There are a ton of better alternatives out there i strongly suggest you look around more and maybe informing yourself before u get stuck on one ecig =x. For example you could get a top of the line mod with extra batteries, cartomizers, and e-liquid for less than their "Luxe sport electronic cigarette starter kit". (250$ holy **** you have to be kidding me) 2 x TRIO™ Rechargeable Lithium Ion 'Cigarette' Batteries (30-50$) 1 x Reusable Atomization Device (~10$) 20 x Refill Filters (Replace with e-liquid ~20$ for 30mL which is a TON more) 1 x Wireless USB Charger (~10$) 1 x Car Adapter for USB Charger (~10$) 1 x Wall Adapter for USB Charger (~5$) 1 x Club 51 Membership Card (ummmm?) 1 x User Manual Booklet (English) (hmmm?) 1 x Luxe Sport Syntetic Leather Travel Case ("synthetic" small leather case, 5-10$) so for all the stuff they give you, they charge 250$, if you buy much higher quality items seperate the cost is about ~100$. Yeah talk about price gouging.

heres a video review of the volt I found last night, seems to be the most positively reviewed stick style ecig ive found, next to the joye 510. The pcc it comes with is slick also and I think the whole kit , 2 batts 5 cartridges, usb cable, charging case is about 60$? Only thing is it comes with a kr808-1 connection I think. About the whole primer puff stuff etc, I wouldn't worry about it so much since it was a 10$ kit, ecigs at least form what ive experienced so far, at least the good ones dont have that kind of problem. Id agree with blucaavy that its just not a good ecig, id say try another ecig.

oo i been looking for a tank that doesnt look to ginormous on my ego battery thanks for the pic. http://www.volcanoecigs.com/tube-tank-1.html is that the one in your pic kitsune?
-
I started off vaping with the trio 51 which is basically a smoke51 that youre thinking of getting i think, it had a short cutoff, and after a couple of puffs it completely locks you out from vaping for a while even if the battery still has charge, seemed more aimed towards smoking cessation than a smoking alternative. It was only 20$ so i wasnt expecting much out of it, but it was not what I thought it was. It came with one battery, a charger, and 5 refill carts. I was told a cart was supposed to last a pack of cigarettes, but it was more like 2-3 cigarettes a cart which was a complete and utter lie. Honestly I wouldn't recommend them if not for the way it vapes (long cutoffs, basically a ball and chain telling you how and when to vape), but for the fact that they blatantly lie to you about the product.

most mods i see are like 80$+. you need the mod,+batteries, and the thing ontop is a tank with cartomizers in the middle which you also have to replace. from what I heard omega/silver bullet are reliable first mods. or if you want to try the cigarette style small ecigs first, joye 510 is good, or even the volt from smokeless image I've been looking at recently, comes with a nice personal charging case and choices of sealed automatic or manual batteries, im thinking about trying out the volt automatic ecigs, heard alot of good reviews about them.

I dont watch sports much, bbut hell yes for free papa johns pizza !!!!! -
Ah i will look into those next thanks. I love the vapor and smooth hit of VG juice and didnt want to go more towards PG or go strictly to direct dripping to vape my vg, thanks for the info ill try the emdcc's next. Its true about the individual juices gunking up faster though, I have some juice from pinkspot and sweetvapes and what ive found is the denser colored juices (deep brown, or deep purple colored) seem to gunk up faster than the more transparent ones.
-
well i vape alot, i used to smoke 20-30cigarettes a day, right now im vaping more often than i smoked, and the higher pg throat hit starts hurting after a while, i dont know what it is about the pg, im vaping 18-24 nicotine level, but the pg seems to hurt my throat more no matter what nic level its at.

Hidden Cost Savings In Being Analog Free....
twelveday replied to mjradik's topic in General Vaping Discussion
i just thought about it again, since november, I would have smoking 2500-3000 cigarettes to this day, kind of makes me feel pukey -
Seems like it would been better if i got the smaller size ce2 from gotvapes. Seems higher vg e-liquid gunk up the heating coil faster and start giving you that burnt debris taste. I vaped half of the XL ce2 then started getting the burnt taste, emptied the e-liquid, took it apart and ran it under hot water, dry burned it, and put it back together with the same e-liquid and the flavor came back. Some of the wicking issue I thought I had was due to the burnt taste the debris was leaving behind I think, although there is still some wicking issue its not as bad as I thought. Just have to take maybe a 10-30 second break between vapes once u start getting low on ejuice. These CE2 'fluxomizers' are pretty good depending on the type of eliquid you use I think, my more 'transparent' looking e-liquids seem to give me no problems, but the deep colored brown ones I have seem to need dry burning of the atomizer more often to get the fresh taste back.
-
I been reading around again and the ce2s from gotvapes get alot of positive feedback so i tried something today. I have the XL which is about 2ml of e-liquid. after smoking like .5-1ml of it starts to taste burnt which i think where i get the idea that its not wicking well. I poured out the e-liquid and then cleaning it and did a dryburn, put the e-liquid back in and it tasted normal again, even with quick succession vaping. Are there certain ingredients in some e-liquid that might gunk up atomizers faster?

Exclusive! A Review Of Sd Key Ring - A Small Thing Of Beauty...
twelveday replied to profbeard's topic in e Cigarette Reviews
that looks awesome but i dont think the battery life would be enough for me either -
yeah thats what I did and video i watched, The plug didnt come out as easy as it did in the video. I dont know if the one the guy is using is different or what but the ce2s I got had a thicker tube, smaller top cup, and only two threads of wick on the ends, and the plug was in there much much much more tighter. The ones I received are the 2.4-2.6ohm clear smokey XL from gotvapes.com
